  Hi I have seen that in some question around presentation you suggest using OO Impress for this. I am trying to show multiple presentation in a non fullscreen window, but havent been very successful so far. Ideally I want to be able to move this presentation windows around the screen. I have searched the Open Office forum but the is almost nothing concerning this topic and noone seems to know the answer to my question. Im trying to do this in C#. I would be very thankfull if you can give me some directions, how to do this. Thank you

  I have a table called transactions with a many-to-many relationship to items through the items_transactions table. I want to do something like this: SELECT "transactions".* FROM "transactions" INNER JOIN "items_transactions" ON "items_transactions".transaction_id = "transactions".id INNER JOIN "items" ON "items".id = "items_transactions".item_id WHERE (items.id IN (<list of items>)) But this gives me all transactions that have one or more of the items in the list associated with it and I only want it to give me the transactions that are associated with all of those items. Any help would be appreciated.

• How to find good looking font color if background color is known?

  There seem to be so many color wheel, color picker, and color matcher web apps out there, where you give one color and the they'll find a couple of other colors that will create a harmonic layout when being used in combination. However most of them focus on background colors only and any text printed on each background color (if text is printed at all in the preview) is either black or white. My problem is different. I know the background color I want to use for a text area. What I need help with is choosing a couple of colors (the more, the merrier) I can use as font colors on this background. Most important is that the color will make sure the font is readable (contrast not being too low, also maybe not being too high to avoid that eyes are stressed) and of course that the combination of foreground and background just looks good. Anyone being aware of such an application? I'd prefer a web application to anything I have to download. Thanks.

  One of managed objects has one attribute 'isMember' represented by NSNumber type. When serialize to Json post body by RestKit, it always give 0/1 instead of YES/NO or true/false. When mapping from json result to objects, RestKit is able to successfully turn YES/NO to NSNumber. What is the way to force serialize the boolean attribute to YES/NO or true/false?   I have to develop some software in my school to utilize the accelerometer in the Wiimote for recording data from experiments, for example finding the acceleration and velocity of a moving object. I understand how the accelerometer values will be used but I am sort of stuck on the programming front. There is a set of things that I would like to do: Live streaming of data from the Wiimote via bluetooth Use the accelerometer values to find velocity and displacment via integration Plot a set of results Avoid the use of the infrared sensor on the Wiimote Please can anyone give me their thoughts on how to go about this. Also it would be great if people could direct me to existing projects that utizlise the wiimote. Also can someone suggest what would be the best programming language to use for this. My current bet is on using Visual basic. Any sort of help is greatly appretiated.

  I have a JTree which I give objects that implement the TreeNode interface, and a custom TreeModel to display them (not using DefaultMutableTreeNode). I would like to change the text colour of some nodes. I can't find anything in the docs, except javax.swing.tree.DefaultTreeCellRenderer.setTextNonSelectionColor(Color newColor), but it will change everything indiscriminately, and I only need it for some nodes (specifically, broken links, i.e. nodes whose corresponding files can't be found on the disk, should be greyed out, the rest should be default). Can it be done, and how?

  Quoting from the cakephp Book (ver 1.3): Note that only fields of the model you are directly doing find on will be translated. Models attached via associations won't be translated because triggering callbacks on associated models is currently not supported. Has anyone come up with a solution for this??? If not could you give me some pointers concerning the following simple scenario. I have 2 models: Project, Category. Project HABTM Category I have properly set up i18n table and I have a few entries in the db, all translated. When I retrieve a project it does retrieve the translation but not the translated category because as it says in the cakephp book models attached via associations won't be translated. • problem with sql job and datetime parameter

  Another developer created a stored procedure that is set up to run as a sql job each month. It takes one parameter of datetime. When I try to invoke it in the job or in just a query window I get an error "Incorrect syntax near ')'" The call to execute it is... exec CreateHeardOfUsRecord getdate() When I give it a hard coded date like exec CreateHeardOfUsRecord '4/1/2010' it works fine. Any idea why I can't use getdate() in this context? Thanks.

  Hi, after fighting several versions of the CoreKeyGen created by some "minamoto" guy, a new version has appeared. This version is particularly sophisticated and seems to modify the actual binary itself, using a dylib known as libbassmod.dylib (this is in the keygen's mac os folder). Has anyone ever come across this & can give me advice on how to stop it? If so, how can I stop the keygen? it seems like the library can see what calls my app makes and stop them somehow, I'm not too sure.

• SPARQL UNION - Result set incomplete

  I have two queries: query 1: SELECT DISTINCT ?o COUNT(?o) WHERE { ?s1 ?somep1 <predicate_one-uri>. ?s1 ?p ?o} query 2: SELECT DISTINCT ?o COUNT(?o) WHERE {?s2 ?somep2 <predicate_two-uri>.?s2 ?p ?o.} Each query gives me a different result set (as expected). I need to make a union of these two sets, from what I understand the query below should give me the set I want: SELECT DISTINCT ?o COUNT(?o) WHERE { { ?s1 ?somep1 <predicate_one-uri>.?s1 ?p1 ?o} UNION {?s2 ?somep2 <predicate_two-uri>.?s2 ?p2 ?o.} } The problem is that some results from query 1 are not in the union set and vice-versa for query 2. The union is not working properly as it does not incorporate all results of query 1 and query 2. Please advise on the proper structure of the sparql query for achieving the desired result set. • Graphics/Bitmap Limits?

  Im having some weird problems with Graphics and Bitmap. I have a Graphics Object that is displayed on a PictureBox and im capturing the MouseMove and MouseClick Events that give X and Y Position of the Mouse on the Image but if the Y Position goes Bigger then 32775 it then goes into Negatives which means everything breaks. And if the Image is Bigger then 65535 it then stops displaying the Image. Any Ideas how these problems can be fixed? • Cyclic References and WCF

  I have generated my POCO entities using POCO Generator, I have more than 150+ tables in my database. I am sharing POCO entities all across the application layers including the client. I have disabled both LazyLoading and ProxyCreation in my context.I am using WCF on top of my data access and business layer. Now, When I return a poco entity to my client, I get an error saying "Underlying connection was closed" I enabled WCF tracing and found the exact error : Contains cycles and cannot be serialized if reference tracking is disabled. I Looked at MSDN and found solutions like setting IsReference=true in the DataContract method atttribute but I am not decorating my POCO classes with DataContracts and I assume there is no need of it as well. I won't be calling that as a POCO if I decorate a class with DataContract attribute Then, I found solutions like applying custom attribute [CyclicReferenceAware] over my ServiceContracts.That did work but I wanted to throw this question to community to see how other people managed this and also why Microsoft didn't give built in support for figuring out cyclic references while serializing POCO classes

• SVN hook script conflict

  I am trying to write a pre-commit hook script that will alter a specific svn-property of a folder/file. The script looks fairly similar to the one that is documented in the svn book. I figured out how to set/change the property of a node and when executing the binding function svn.fs.commit_txn the property of the node actually gets set. But at the moment tortoise always gives me a conflict on the folder I am altering the property. I wrote my script with Python but am new python and hook scripts. Hope someone can give me a clue why I am getting this conflict..

Press enter Press ctrlf Press enter goto 4 Can you reproduce a slowly expanding quick find window? Do I have some sort of wacky bugged out system?   Hi! I've worked a lot with php/mysql on linux servers, including frameworks, orm etc. Now I want to give GWT and Java a try! Installing GWT SDK, Eclipse plugin etc and running a "Hello world" is no problem... The server is running automagically in the background... But when it comes to setting it up my self, there seems to be confusingly many options. Jetty? Tomcat? Glassfish? How are those related/combinable to/with Apache? Are there any good resources or tutorials for setting up java development and server environments suited for one like me with PHP background? Maybe pointing out the possiblities of running PHP and Java on the same server? Regards / Jonas

• Using a boost::fusion::map in boost::spirit::karma

  I am using boost spirit to parse some text files into a data structure and now I am beginning to generate text from this data structure (using spirit karma). One attempt at a data structure is a boost::fusion::map (as suggested in an answer to this question). But although I can use boost::spirit::qi::parse() and get data in it easily, when I tried to generate text from it using karma, I failed. Below is my attempt (look especially at the "map_data" type). After some reading and playing around with other fusion types, I found boost::fusion::vector and BOOST_FUSION_DEFINE_ASSOC_STRUCT. • LaTeX - vertical space equivalent of \makebox ?

  I'm making a LaTeX document and I'm getting success with \makebox, which puts text in an invisible box and will add extra horizontal whitespace to the end to make the whole thing fit within the size you specify. Is there something like that for vertical space? I have a few variable length paragraphs, images, etc. that I want to put in this vertical box. I want LaTeX to put in the right amount of vertical space (at the bottom) so that the whole thing is of the set size that I give it.
