    I have a URL which is 301 redirecting but I cannot find where or how it is happening and wanted some checks to perform if posible? I've checked .htaccess - it's not there I've checked CPanel in Redirects - it's not there In wordpress, I have the redirection plugin active and it's not there either. Is there anywhere else that could be issuing redirects? I'm at a loss to find out where and how the page is redirecting!

    I cannot seem to install the windows platform sdk when i have visual studio 2010 installed,i followed the error code the sdk was getting and it said i need to unistall the 2010 redistribute runtimes,i did that and it has still not fixed the problem,this is very anoying as i have tried different things and been at it for atleast 5 hours now,did anyone else get this problem and know a work around? This is the order i tried install vs 2010, remove redis runtimes, install platform sdk (failed), install redis x86/x64, install service pack 1 for vs Thanks

  • virutalbox always get back the same ip

    I exported a virtual machine from my work station, and I am trying to renew the ip-address at home. I put one copy on my laptop and one copy on my PC. I've done this sudo rm /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules and changed the MAC address, but they keep coming back as 192.168.1.165. I need them to be different because I need to run two of these exports at the same time, so I cannot afford to have the same IP. What can I do? Thanks.

    I've a question about the package named 'atftp'. I've got the atftp daemon finally working. Previously I was using tftp-hpa with a custom rule that replaces filenames with capitals into non-capital filenames and replaces the backslashes into forward slashes so that WinPE will boot fine. But in atftp I can't find rules or replacements like that. I'm searching for long, but cannot find or write the right pcre-pattern. Could you help me with this?

    Why only one nautilus window manager is opens when clicking on the 'Files' icon on the unity bar? I need to open two or more HomeFolder windows by clicking on the 'files' icon on the unity pane. I cannot create more than one nautilus window manager unless i tap superkey(windows key) and type homefolder,videos etc or typing the same in gnome-do. Is there any way to open more than one folders(Home folder, videos etc..) by clicking the 'files' icon on the unity bar??

    Sorry for the stupid question but I am new with Linux (I am using Gnome classic with Ubuntu 12.04) and I cannot set compiz in order to obtain the rotating cube. I have already installed compizconfig-setting-manager and also the extra (and fusion) plugins but: even if I disable the desktop wall and enable cube and rotating cube, nothing happens; even if I change into general settings the number of vertical and horizontal virtual size nothing happens.     I have deployed both ceilometer and ceilometer-agent and added relationship between them. After deployment I can see the resource usage for network(neutron), glance, cinder but I cannot see the information for nova-compute. But it is instructed that ceilometer-agent should deployed in every compute node but with juju its not possible to deploy it on specific compute node. Thanks in advance for your help.
