  • How can I turn a single element in a list into multiple elements using Python?

    I have a list of elements, and each element consists of four seperate values that are seperated by tabs: ['A\tB\tC\tD', 'Q\tW\tE\tR', etc.] What I want is to create a larger list without the tabs, so that each value is a seperate element: ['A', 'B', 'C', 'D', 'Q', 'W', 'E', 'R', etc.] How can I do that in Python? I need it for my coursework, due tonight (midnight GMT) and I'm completely stumped.

    Hello, I know how to generate rounded corners using images. But please have a look at the link :- http://roundedbox.andreas-kalt.de/ The rounded corners on all four corners are all images, but my question is how are those borders in the middle done? Those green color borders that surround the whole div. The tutorial is given but it is German :(. Also i don't want to use Css3 like -webkit-border-radius etc as they are not yet supported in IE Thanks in advance :)

  • Wrong data retrieved from database

    So, I want to retrieve the order of the elements of a list. The order is set before by the user, and are stored in the table below. Because I also want to retrieve name and description of the list elements I need to combine two tables (see below). However, what is actually retrieved is an array containing 16 elements (should be four because it only exists four elements as for now). The array is too long to post here, but I put it in a phpFiddle to be found here if you're interested. Well, I have really tried to find what's wrong (probably something easy as always), but with no luck. A has a member D* dpointer; This hierarchy has to be preserved (in fact this is a GUI with app, window, panel as A, B and C). Now B and C must use a method from *dpointer. Is there something more elegant than giving dpointer as a member of B and C ? Is it bad ?

    I currently have a UITableView with each cell containing four UIButtons. I am placing an image for each button with a downloaded picture from online. I'd like to have the button fade in when the image is finished downloading. I know I can animate in the viewDidLoad, but I assign the image in the cellForRowAtIndex function. How do I go about animating just the UIButton at a later point in time when I update the UIButton with the image?

  • Hook perm for more than one content type

    Drupal 6.x I have this module that manages four different content types. For that matter, how do I define permission for each content within the same module? Is that even possible? I can't figure out how to define permission for each content type cuz hook_perm has to be named with module name and it doesn't have any argument(like hook_access $node) to return permission base on content type. Any help would be highly appreciated.

    Right now I have four customized QDockWidgets on the left side of my application. When you start the application, each one is visible, but very small because of the visibility of each one. I would like for three of the QDockWidgets to nest behind one primary one to give that one priority and the entire left side of the screen.
