    I'm trying to call a method of the below (Scroll animation class) type from a viewcontroller class. -(void)CreateLabel:(CGRect )frame andLabel:(UILabel *[NUM_LABELS])label andview:(UIView *)view; I got some errors when I tried passing the argument. Any suggestion on how to call this? This is how I called that method ScrollAnimation *newAnimation = [[ScrollAnimation alloc] init]; [newAnimation CreateLabel:CGRectMake(0, 50, 300,30) andLabel:animateLabel[NUM_LABELS] andview:self.view]; I have the error /Volumes/Red Drive/CarTransition/CarTransition/ViewController.m:120:66: Implicit conversion of an Objective-C pointer to 'UILabel **' is disallowed with ARC /Volumes/Red Drive/CarTransition/CarTransition/ViewController.m:120:66: Incompatible pointer types sending 'UILabel *__strong' to parameter of type 'UILabel **'

    Suppose I have DLLA which is a standalone library that contains classes I use I have DLLB that references DLLA I now have DLLC that references DLLB - Why is it that DLLC also needs a reference to DLLA? Can I not have VS2005 build a dll which contains all the assemblies it needs embedded inside it?

    System.DllNotFoundException was unhandled Message=Unable to load DLL 'sqlite3': The specified module could not be found. I already reference the DLL. I check it on Debug folder and it was there. I also search how to "include" it in the project but they don't specifically explain how to do it.     I'm having problems wrapping my head around this. I have a function void foo(istream& input) { input = cin; } This fails (I'm assuming because cin isn't supposed to be "copyable". however, this works void foo(istream& input) { istream& baz = cin; } Is there a reason that I can get a reference to cin in baz but I cannot assign it to input?     I need to implement message passing, my idea is to make some sort of message source (I inherit from public gr_sync_block) that works as a controller for another block (it has to send a message each 6 minutes). I read that is necessary to inherit from gnuradio::block -and by the way, installing grextras is mandatory-. In the .h file I added the #include and inherited from block"class JDFM_API jdfm_control : public gr_sync_block, public gnuradio::block". I know that I have redefine some things like the gnuradio::block constructor but I dont know what msg_signature is, I also don't get the relation between block's parameters and work parameter, the last thing that I am not sure is if I still can use gnuradio-companion if I create a block like this. I haven't been able to find a simple example of messages implementation. If anyone can guide me or show me an example, it would be awesome. Thanks in advance.

    I have a dll installed in GAC. I have not issues reading that assembly from asp.net applications the assembly reference i have done in web.config is able to refer to that assembly. But in the console application, when i put the below in the app.config file, the solution gets compiled, but i am not able to access the dll from program.cs file. Below is my app.config to refer to the dll in GAC. Please point to me what i am doing wrong.

    In C#, How do you pass the Session[] and Request[] objects to a method? I would like to use a method to parse out Session and Request paramaters for a .aspx page to reduce the size of my Page_Load method. I am passing quite a few variables, and need to support both POSTand GET methods. For most calls, not all variables are present, so I have to test every variable multiple ways, and the code gets long...     I created a silverlight 3 application with a navigation frame and 3 views: search, add and edit. I used the app file to pass parameters among the 3 pages, eg: ((App)Application.Current).SNIPSELECTED = currentSnip; Then in the receiving page: currentSnip = ((App)Application.Current).SNIPSELECTED; currentSnip is a SnipItem object: public class SnipItem { public string itemID {get;set;} public string category {get;set;} public string itemDescription {get;set;} public string codeSnip {get;set;} } This worked fine until I decided to make this entire application into a user control and put that inside a second silverlight application with its own navigation frame and app file. The app files are getting confused. The first app file with all my parameter passing is not being read. I know how to pass a simple parameter between views in the first application without the app file (in a query string), but how about these custom types like my currentSnip above?

This one consists of a single UserControl which is loaded dinamically. When MainMEF starts up, I would be able to pass to the module a reference to main application contained into MainMEF.     Is it possible to use Generics when passing a class to a java function? I was hoping to do something like this: public static class DoStuff { public <T extends Class<List>> void doStuffToList(T className) { System.out.println(className); } public void test() { doStuffToList(List.class); // compiles doStuffToList(ArrayList.class); // compiler error (undesired behaviour) doStuffToList(Integer.class); // compiler error (desired behaviour) } } Ideally the List.class and ArrayList.class lines would work fine, but the Integer.class line would cause a compile error. I could use Class as my type instead of T extends Class<List> but then I won't catch the Integer.class case above.

    Hi! I'm working on a db but i'm kinda new to this so i've bumped into a problem today. I've got some tables: OFFICE, ROOM, EMPLOYEE and DOCUMENT. Document must specify the sender, which can be a single employee, an entire room or an entire office so it must have a reference to the primary keys of those tables. Should I do a "parallel" table for handle it (for example i've done one for handle the multiple recipients documents) or there is another way? Thank you
