  • UIKeyboard slides from wrong coordinates when in landscape, why?

    Hi I have an app that starts in Landscape Right mode. When I tap a textField the keyboard should slide up, however first time when the keyboard slides it slides from the right (where the home button is). After that it slides up and down as expected. So only the first time when I call the keyboard in it comes from where it would come if the app would be in portrait mode. Does anyone know how can I fix this?

    Hi, I am trying to convert a SQL query to LINQ. Somehow my count(distinct(x)) logic does not seem to be working correctly. The original SQL is quite efficient(or so i think), but the generated SQL is not even returning the correct result. I am trying to fix this LINQ to do what the original SQL is doing, AND in an efficient way as the original query is doing. The data is accessed from an AppWidgetProvider (similar to a BroadcastReceiver), and any given instance of the widget displays different data based on appWidgetId. I have gone over this so many times but are totally stuck of finding a solution. EDIT: The errors is the ouput while compiling with gcc if I didn't make that clear.

  • HelloWebView Sample: now using SDK 3 and getting killed

    Hey Folks, Well I was trying to get the HelloWebview example working with SDK 7 with no success (see HelloWebView Sample: java.lang.SecurityException: Permission Denial thread), so I decided just out of curiosity to back off to SDK3 to see if I could learn anything. I have been able to get all the "Layout" samples to work and decided to try something a little harder. Unfortunately, I still cannot get the simple HelloWebView app to run. I no longer get a Permission Denial but now the app is getting killed. Killed usually implies that there are not enough resources (memory etc.) for an application to run.... Any thoughts? Are there any other log files I can look at either on my computer or on the emulator? The main.xml, manifest, and console output are below. Let me know if you need more information.
