  • Creating Synch Point In TFS Source Tree Development Cycle

    Our development cycle rarely requires a branch so we have what tfs appears to consider a single, never-ending development cycle. Our problem is that each build includes an ever increasing long "Generating list of changesets and updating work items" step that includes all changesets/work items back to day 1. What is the proper step that we need to perform to formally lock and label (wrong terms I'm sure) the source tree so that a new cycle of changesets and work items can begin. Thanks!

    If have a Navigation Bar and a Tab Bar in one of my views. This is all working fine. One of the Tab Bar items requires pushing several other view controllers on the navigation stack before I get the where I need to be. This is also working. When I click on the tab bar item, it marches right back up the stack. How can I make the desired controller stick in the tab bar item?

  • Forward horizontal swipe events on UITableView to parent view

    I have a UITableView that I want to have respond to taps and vertical swipes, but still have something like userInteractionEnabled = NO for horizontal swipes. By that I mean, it would not handle touches and pass the touch event back to its superview. Things I've tried that didn't work: returning NO in - (BOOL)tableView:(UITableView *)tableView canEditRowAtIndexPath:(NSIndexPath *)indexPath Overriding touchesBegan/touchesMoved/touchesEnded and passing the event to the next responder Adding gesture recognizers for horizontal swipes and setting cancelsTouchesInView to YES I've been trying to fix this on and off for several weeks, so any help is greatly appreciated!

    Hi everyone, I get more often the answer, when asking performance related stuff regarding PHP applications, that PHP really isn't the language for high-performance applications, and that a compiled language really is the way to go. The only thing holding me back to PHP is that it's what I have learned to work with for some while now and the development is quite rapid. So, is PHP a thing of the past and should be put aside in web applications in favour of Ruby, for instance? Thanks

    I load jquery into my greasemonkey script and when the user clicks the start button the script makes a bunch of ajax calls. I then empty body and append data. When i click on something and hit back instead of getting the page post script i lose all the data and need to run the ajax calls again (it can take seconds to run). How do i make it not lose the changes?

    I am using hudson which will run scheduled builds from time to time. Problem is that i configured a shell script which will be excuted to perform the deployment and also restarting of domain. As hudson is on the same application server as the actual application. My hudson will stop and also stop the shell script after the asadmin stop-domain command so it doesn't proceed to start back the domain. What can i do to resolve this issue?

    As the title says, I need to make these plugins work together well. The mini buffer explorer just automatically opens after I open the second file(press Enter in project plugin window), then Mini Buffer Explorer opens as the third window on the top of my screen. But after I switch back to project plugin window and press Enter to open the third file, a fourth window opened! It seems project plugin can't overwrite the second file's window.     I'm in the process of changing part of my C++ app from using an older C type array to a templated C++ container class. See this question for details. While the solution is working very well, each minor change I make to the templated code causes a very large amount of recompilation to take place, and hence drastically slows build time. Is there any way of getting template code out of the header and back into a cpp file, so that minor implementation changes don't cause major rebuilds?
