  • Maven Error - Expected START_TAG or END_TAG not TEXT

    I am setting up a spring mvc web application + hibernate jpa + maven from scratch using Eclipse Indigo. I am stuck in this error when doing a Maven build. I even search the whole project for the text <extension>war</ and mysteriously, there is no text like this in my project.     I tried to install gcc 4.5 on ubuntu 10.04 but failed. Here is a compile error that I don't know how to solve. Is there anyone successfully install the latest gcc on ubuntu? Following is my steps and the error message, I'd like to know where is the problem.... Step1: download these files: gcc-core-4.5.0.tar.gz gcc-g++-4.5.0.tar.gz gmp-4.3.2.tar.bz2 mpc-0.8.1.tar.gz mpfr-2.4.2.tar.gz Step2: Unzip above files Step3: move gmp, mpc, mpfr to the gcc-4.5.0/ directory. mv gmp-4.3.2 gcc-4.5.0/gmp mv mpc-0.8.1 gcc-4.5.0/mpc mv mpfr-2.4.2 gcc-4.5.0/mpfr Step4: go to gcc-4.5.0 directory and do configuration: sudo ./configure Step5: compile and install sudo make sudo make install The first 4 steps is OK, I can configure it successfully. However, when I try to compile it, following error message comes out, I cannot figure out what the problem is. Should I change the name from "gcc 4.5" to "gcc"?? It's a little strange that we need to do this by ourself.     I am trying to register a COM DLL using Inno Setup in a setup package I created. During test installations on Vista, I get this error: Unable to register the DLL/OCX: RegSvr32 failed with exit code 0xC0000005 I click "Ignore" and my application appears to install, but I have to then open a command prompt (as an administrator) and then regsvr32 to install the COM DLL. Is there any way to do this automatically in Inno Setup?

    I have set up PHP5.3, MySQL5.1, and IIS7 on Window 7 but php doesn't want to work with MySQL. I'm assuming it is a configuration error or an incomplete install on my part. MySQL5.1 is working PHP5.3 is working, phpinfo() shows info and that i have enabled MySQL IIS is setup and using fastCgiModule to run PHP IIS registers php.ini updates port 3306 is firewall free and open to the world php.ini is configured correctly I have added c:\php to the Windows systems PATH In the past I remember moving a file, libmysql.dll, to System32 but I doesn't look like that come with php5.3.1, as the driver comes built in now http://us3.php.net/manual/en/mysqlnd.install.php.   • iPhone: Compressing .app files in command line (Mac OS X) removes CodeSigning

    I am trying to do a simple build automation of my iPhone apps with TeamCity, but having this nagging issue.. When I manually pickup and install .app file from the build folder it works great (syncs smoothly with iTunes and I can see the app on my phone) But when I try to zip this with /bin/zip or ditto...then the zipped contents loose the CodeSigning (iTunes says that it cannot install this app because its not signed) I have tried different combinations of these.. ditto -ck --rsrc --keepParent HelloWorld.app HelloWorld.zip Any more ideas?

    I have an issue when trying to set up rvm, where gems weren't installing due to them being dependent on json_pure. I tried to install json_pure, but rubygems itself seems to depend on json_pure. I have tried removing all versions of json_pure, but rubygems still complains. $ sudo gem install json_pure /Library/Ruby/Site/1.8/rubygems.rb:777:in `report_activate_error': Could not find RubyGem json_pure (= 0) (Gem::LoadError) I have tried downloading the gem and installing it locally, but rubygems still complains about the dependency.

    Hi I want to publish my application (ABC). Its an audiobook file(just for example.) wrapped as apk. When the user install this application it needs to check whether another application (XYZ) already installed or not. If not let the user know they have to install the application XYZ first before installing ABC. Thanks in advance Rajesh
