  DDStep Date Question: Currently trying to pass just the date from excel. But getting the below error while doing it. Failed to convert property value of type [java.lang.String] to required type [java.util.Date] for property ...no matching editors or conversion strategy found spring for date conversion I even tried to add customEditorConfigurer in the ddsteps-context file. Still getting error. But in their pet store example looks like it works fine. • How do I create a view with a picker on the bottom and a table view on the top?

  Hi - first time asker, long-time lurker. I am trying to create an iPhone view that has a date/time picker on the bottom half of the screen, and a grouped, single-section, four-row table view on the top half of the screen (almost identical to the one Apple shows in Fig. 2-4 of their View Controller Programming Guide (but then never goes on to explain). Conceptually, I think I understand that what I need is a main view with a pair of subviews - one for the picker, and one for the table view. I'm pretty sure I can make the picker function once I have it on-screen, and I'm pretty sure I can make the table view function too. What I can't for the life of me figure out is how, programmatically speaking, to get the two views onto the screen simultaneously. I can lay it out perfectly in Interface Builder, but then it all goes to hell when I switch to Xcode...the view appears with the picker, but no table view.   I have a a model as follows: class Total include DataMapper::Resource property :id, Serial property :amount, Float, :default => 0.00 property :day, Date belongs_to :calendar end I am trying to select a specific Total from the data-store. class Calendar include DataMapper::Resource property :id, Serial property :name, String has n, :totals def get_total_for(date) return Total.first(:day => date, :calendar => self) end end When I call get_total_for(DateTime.now) I receive the following error on the call to the data-store. java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: day: org.jruby.RubyObject is not a supported property type. Is Date not allowed for usage in AppEngine? Is this a DataMapper issue? I have tried changing the name of the :day property to something else (hoping it was just a name conflict) but it doesn't seem to matter. Thanks for any help you can provide.

  I am going nuts over wordpress and artisteer. I am trying something that used to be pretty straightforward - turning on and off the display of date and post category for my posts on my blog page. I've done it back and forth with my content files and nothing changes on the output. I can't find the actual code that prints it all, wordpress used to be so simple before everything was dug down 10 levels deep and you now have to look through millions of different functions to find the simplest things... As you can probably tell, I usually don't work with WP =) But this is on my table now and I haven't stayed up to date with WP for a couple of years... Any input as to where I can find the variables is appreciated... I had expected to at some point find 'posted at '.echo($date).' in category '.echo($category) or something at least remotely similar...

  I have a project on going for a TV guide, called mytvguide in the database - I use PHPMyAdmin.   I am getting the date from my mysql database and that date is correct but when I use the date() function the minute part is stuck a 6 minutes. My mysql is returning 2010-06-15 09:59:18 Then in php I use this code: date('M d,Y H:m A',strtotime($row[4])) ** $row[4] is from my while loop ** When I echo this out I get: Jun 15,2010 9:06 AM I also have tried converting it to unix timestamp in my sql query, does the same thing. I noticed that the hours work and the seconds work but the minutes are stuck at 6. Does anyone have any ideas on what is going on?

  Hi, I have a moodle installation in which there is a column in mdl_user table called firstaccess whose type is bigint(10) and contains date in following format 1266839570. I am writing a query for accessing users according to date filters. For e.g. i want to check which users firstaccess is greater than '2010-04-12'. How can i convert the date? These two date formats are different. I think firstaccess is unix timestamp. • CDateTimeCtrl - preventing 'focus' change when setting date

  I'd like to use a CDateTimeCtrl to allow the user to select a non-weekend date. So, if the user increments the day (via a keypress) - and the resulting day is found to fall on a weekend - then the control should skip forward to the following Monday (don't let issues about month changes distract you, it's not relevant). Usually it's not a problem: when I handle the DTN_DATETIMECHANGE notification I can check the new date/time and if it's found to be a weekend then I can call SetTime on the control to update the date. However, if I set the style to DTS_SHOWNONE, this call to SetTime causes the control to shift the input 'focus' (term used loosely) to the 'none' checkbox, e.g. away from the day field. This prevents the user from using keyboard input to continue incrementing the date unless they subsequently use the right arrow key to reset the 'focus', which is just nasty. I would dearly like to prevent this focus shift from occurring. Is it even possible?
