• Android Apps wont update.

  Hello, i know that eclipse has a couple of glitches when it comes to updating your app and running it on the emulator, i have tried everything that i have found on the internet. Stopping the adb manually making a new emulator and starting it with "wipe user data" and restarting it even reinstalling all of the programs. What i have noticed is that it updates correctly until i start adding images to the drawable folder. After that it doesn't update at all. Can anybody help me its really frustrating also the pictures show up on the "graphic layout how they are suppose to it just doesn't update.

  I have a simple MySQL table thats contains a list of categories, level is determined by parent_id: id name parent_id --------------------------- 1 Home 0 2 About 1 3 Contact 1 4 Legal 2 5 Privacy 4 6 Products 1 7 Support 1 I'm attempting to make a breadcrumb trail. So i have the 'id' of the child, I want to get all available parents (iterating up the chain until we reach 0 "Home"). There could be any number or child rows going to an unlimited depth. Currently I am using an SQL call for each parent, this is messy. Is there a way in SQL to do this all on one query?

• Seasonal Pricing for a Hotel Room

  I am trying to manage seasonal prices for hotel rooms. The only way that I can think of doing it would be to use: | DayDate |EndDate | A | B ----------------------------------------------- | 2010/07/1 |2010/07/2 | 200 | 40 | 2010/07/3 |2010/07/4 | 150 | 40 | 2010/07/5 |2010/07/5 | 150 | 50 | 2010/07/6 |2010/07/7 | 200 | 50 | 2010/07/8 |2010/07/9 | 100 | 60 etc.. (table taken from another question). The problem is: I don't want my seasons to be year specific. Seasons for rooms shouldn't change year on year. I don't want my users to have to enter the seasonal information several times. I am also going to have thousands of rooms, so I don't know a way to make this easily manageable. I'm using mysql and php.

  I've got a mysql database created by phpMyAdmin and I want to use it in my Qt project. I tried it on Visual Studio 2010 with an qt addon but it didn't work neither. In Qt Creator, I add: QT += sql in a .pro file and include: #include <QSqlDatabase> in the main file but there's a driver error. I don't know even where to start and each google page shows something different. I tried to look for some guide but there is nothing which concerns everything in []s.

  I am tapping into a service that provides zip codes tax information - there service is a bit shakey, so I want to copy their database over and run the results off my own server while using their service to just update my table. However I'm not sure I'm able to loop through multiple results with this query: mysql_query( "CALL zip2tax.z2t_lookup('" . $strZipCode . "','" . $strUserName . "', '" . $strUserPassword . "')" ) I've tried setting $strZipCode to *. However I get an error from the database. I read on MySQL that mysql_next_result should be the solution, however I'm unsure how to properly implement that.

  I have been looking everywhere for a way to do this. There are a lot of people that have asked the questions but when I try myself i cant seem to get it to work. Often I get the format correct but it inputs the information into a new page instead of saving it. I did manage to get one to work for google chrome but when i ran it in internet explorer it didnt work. I have a table being created from a MYSQL query and i would like the table to be able to be saved as a CSV. Could anyone help me out?

  I want to build a system on the website, that allows users to do some things depend on their rating. For example I have rule for rating value X: 1 post in 3 days 10 comments in 1 day 20 votes in 2 days for rating value Y, rule may be following: 3 post in 1 day 50 comments in 1 day 30 votes in 1 day Each night I recalculate users' ratings, so I know what each user is able to do. Possibilities don't sum or reset on each rating's recalculation. One more important thing is that admin can fill concrete user's possibilities at any time. What is optimal database (MySQL) structure for desired? I can count what concrete user has done: SELECT COUNT(*) FROM posts WHERE UserID=XXX AND DateOfPost >= 'YYY' SELECT COUNT(*) FROM comments WHERE UserID=XXX AND CommentOfPost >= 'YYY' But how can I do admin filling possibilities in this case?

  Pretty basic question.. I kno.., I just don't know how its done. I see it everywhere. I want to be able to sort out my content in my websites by most viewed, most commented, most popular, best rating, etc...with a drop down list, check box, etc... but I don't know how "sort by" works? Which scripting language should it be written in? Javascript? PHP? Can it be done with XML? Do I have to have a database set up like MySQL? Is there a good tutorial anywhere that explains it? I need to be explained the exact process of how it works. As you can see I really need direction.. Your help is much appreciated :D

  I am on the stage where I need to make my website cross-browser compatible. I need tips on how to get started. I have developed my website on firefox, so it works great with firefox. I guess I have to download a couple of versions of all major browsers now, right? Then just test each browser one by one? Should I do this before uploading the entire website onto a server or afterwards? All tips and SW which makes this easier is appreciated.   I am using MySQL DB and I have created a PHP script for the following, now i need the idea for the below asked question.... please help... I have a table called audit trail whose structure is: id, trackid, table, operation, newvalue, oldvalue, field, changedone I have created triggers for insert/update/delete for every table of same DB, now whenever there is change in ny DB the triggers get activated and updates the Audit trail table accordingly.. I am tracking these changes so that i can use these changes to be done on production DB which is of same structure as of this test DB. Also when the admin finds that he does not need the changes recently he did for production DB then he can rollback it using the Old Data it stored in Ausittrail table of test db. Now here in audit trail table structure, there will be an insert for every single field change like-wise if a table has 4 fields then the change in that tavle will insert 4 rows in audit trail.. Coming to the question now, How can i find the latest change done from the Audit table so that I can insert these changes in Production DB.

  I am working on a project where i need to create a database with 300 tables for each user who wants to see the demo application. it was working fine but today when i was testing with a new user to see a demo it showed me this error message 1030 Got error 28 from storage engine After spending some time googling i found it is an error that is related to space of database or temporary files. I tried to fix it but i failed. now i am not even able to start mysql. How can i fix this and i would also like to increase the size to maximum so that i won't face the same issue again and again.

  Hi, I have 24/7 service which keeps setup (configuration data) for charging, routing and etc in the Sql Server. Once it is started it loads the data from table using Linq2SQL and use the data through all the application. And we need a solution to update the setup data in the table without restarting the application. So I am interested is it possible to catch/determine that the table was updated so I can refresh the setup data in the application. I mean is it possible to have events which will raise when there is any delete, update or insert on the table. Thank you.

  My question is pretty simple, but one to which I can't really find a solution myself. I use Excel quite frequently, but rarely the fancy stuff. Anyway, to the point: How do I create a dropmenu that will lock certain cells, rows or columns? (by lock I mean unable to change via hand and stops updating itself). Example: A1 = 5 B1 = A1 * 100 Can I "lock" the B1-cell, so that changing A1 will have no effect on B1 (Will remain at value 500)? I would preferably want to be able to "unlock" the cell as well, instead of simply making function into value. Is this possible? Thanks in advance!

  I'm fairly new to PHP/MySql and using queries in general. I was just wondering if there's any benefit to using "AS" in a query other than trying to make it look cleaner? Does it speed up the query at all? I probably could have figured this out by a google search but I wanted to ask my first question and see how this works.   I've heard from some people that RoR doesn't marry cleanly with SQLServer. We have a series of historical, standardization to use SQLServer but if we can push back with valid reasons we can move to another db. One person on the team wants MySql and another wants Postgres, etc. I'm trying to stay out of the religious wars and really understand what the pain point is with SQLServer. We're running the app server on a linux box, and the database will be on a windows box and the SQLServer that we're supposed to standardize on is 2008, if those details help any... thanks in advance!

• Vew not updating after scope update

  Here is a very simple example of what I am trying to do Athlete.save(athlete,function(result) { $scope.athlete = result.athlete; }); The issue is that the $scope.athlete variable does not update in my view. In order to get it to update I have to do this Athlete.save(athlete,function(result) { $scope.athlete.fname = result.athlete.fname; $scope.athlete.lname= result.athlete.lname; $scope.athlete.gender= result.athlete.gender; .... }); This gets annoying very quickly. With the first block of code it's as if angular does not know that my $scope.athlete variable has been updated.   Hi, I want to know number of rows that will be affected by UPDATE query in BEFORE per statement trigger . Is that possible? The problem is that i want to allow only queries that will update up to 4 rows. If affected rows count is 5 or more i want to raise error.   I am trying to copy data from my MYSQL table to SQL Server using PHP. I have a TimeStamp value that needs to be copied. While I am trying to copy the fields, it gave an error that timestamp value cannot be inserted. Is there any way to insert the timestamp value? Is it is not possible, then declaring the column as nvarchar will insert the timestamp, but will I be able to search the data in a date range? Can anyone please clarify my doubt? Thanks.

  I'm creating a database so I can access names of people from a university. But I would like to create a registration ID for each person like 1012607, of which the first 2 numbers would be the year (11 for 2011) and the third digit would be the semester they registered (1 in the beginning of the year and 2 in the end of the year). The other 4 digits would be incremental. I don't know how to code a prefixed number in MySQL that can change only the last 4 digits and after a year change the first 2 digits every time you have a new registration.
