• Make index.cgi redirect to Apache webserver document root

  I'm trying to expose a CGI file as my document root and web server. I do not want to expose the fact that the server is running a CGI script. How can I map a URL http://host/index.cgi/ back to http://host/ in Apache2? I'm guessing it involves mod-rewrite, but I haven't finished grokking all the docs yet. • Can I use a binary literal in C or C++?

  I need to work with a binary number. I tried writing: const x = 00010000 ; But it didn't work. I know that I can use an hexadecimal number that has the same value as 00010000 but I want to know if there is a type in C++ for binary numbers & if there isn't, is there another solution for my problem?

• Automatically running thread stopped after the application idling for more than 1 hour

  I have a web application which runs on IIS 6.0 and it has a thread that runs on the applicaion startup. That thread will run continously after the application startup with a sleep time of 10 seconds (This will update the application cache from getting the data from DB). But once the application is idle for more than 1 hour this thread is no longer running. Please give me a solution for continously run this thread.

  I cannot get it working although I am very close to an acceptable solution. I can drag the Dock if it is only a rectangle. But if I add a node (e.g. an image) to this dock I am not able to get a working solution. Do you have a code snippet, link or other advices for me?   I am trying to run some unit tests using NUnit while I have the project open, and VS 2010 cannot rebuild the project while the assembly is loaded in NUnit. • System.Web.UI not available in console app?

  Hey everybody, Im trying to write a quick console app that outputs data to an HTML file, however im having trouble accessing the System.Web.UI namespace. Adding System.Web to my references places a warning icon on top of the reference name in the solution explorer and System.Web is not available in the .NET reference list (in order for me to actually add it to the project I have to go to the object browser and add it from there).   How can I obtain an array with uid and names? I could iterate from 0 to 99999 and do a getpwnam(). However most machines have less than 5 accounts, so it's not optimal. I don't know what framework is responsible for this and thus I have no clue what to search for. Is there a more optimal solution that can traverse the accounts?
