  • Using preg_replace to replace all occurrences in php

    Regex is absolutely my weak point and this one has me completely stumped. I am building a fairly basic search functionality and I need to be able to alter my user input based on the following pattern: Subject: %22first set%22 %22second set%22-drupal -wordpress Desired output: +"first set" +"second set" -drupal -wordpress I wish I could be more help as I normally like to at least post the solution I have so far, but on this one I'm at a loss.     I'm from a WinAPI / C++ background, and I'm curious as to what the Java world uses in place of a threaded message loop in a worker thread to handle communications and interactions between threads. The idea is to use a message pump in both the worker thread, and the main thread, and have them posting messages back and forth. This solution is very WinAPI / C++ centric, and probably not the preferred method of achieving this goal in Java. What is the 'Java' way to do something like this?

  • Automatically running thread stopped after the application idling for more than 1 hour

    I have a web application which runs on IIS 6.0 and it has a thread that runs on the applicaion startup. That thread will run continously after the application startup with a sleep time of 10 seconds (This will update the application cache from getting the data from DB). But once the application is idle for more than 1 hour this thread is no longer running. Please give me a solution for continously run this thread.

    I cannot get it working although I am very close to an acceptable solution. I can drag the Dock if it is only a rectangle. But if I add a node (e.g. an image) to this dock I am not able to get a working solution. Do you have a code snippet, link or other advices for me?     I have a little problem with adding EventListener to multiple objects on stage. I have above 40 buttons on stage named "Button01","Button02" .. "Button40", and i'm looking for easiest way to add EventListener to all of them. Creating something like Button01.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, doSomething) Button02.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, doSomething) .. Button40.addEventListener(MouseEvent.Click, doSomething) (Notice the same function). isn't solution i'm looking for :(. Thanks in advice.

    I use bash on mac and one of the aliases is like this alias gitlog='git --no-pager log -n 20 --pretty=format:%h%x09%an%x09%ad%x09%s --date=short --no-merges' However when I do :! gitlog I get /bin/bash: gitlog: command not found I know I can add aliases like this in my .gitconfig [alias] co = checkout st = status ci = commit br = branch df = diff However I don't want to add all my bash aliases to .gitconfig. That is not DRY. Is there a better solution?
