• How to generate changelog: git log since last Hudson build?

  I'm using Phing to do post build tasks in Hudson. I want to generate changelog containing all commits since last successful Hudson build. But looks like neither Hudson nor Git plugin for Hudson does not provide %last_build_time% variable. This would be satisfying solution, (but how to get the time?): git log --pretty="%s" --since="%last_build_time%" The only way I see for now is extracting it from the job xml file, but I do not know if it is possible with Phing. How do you generate your change logs?

Like: service telling to the user monitoring it that it needs attention. Please consider that you can have several controllers started at any time in a multi-user environment. Do you know an example(open source) for this kind of communication? Extra points for a platform independent solution :)

  I am trying to read dataSource ad Catalog from connectionString in web.config in Silverlight business project. Unfortunately when I used "SqlConnectionStringBuilder", I could not read connectionstring the has "connectionString="metadata=res:///MainDatabase.Main.csdl|res:///MainDatabase.Main.ssdl|......."" where as it work for "connectionString="Data Source=My-PC\SQL_2008;Initial Catalog =...."". I could get them using "Split" however, I don't like that solution. Is there any way to get my requirements? Thanks

  Hi, This is odd, but for some reason the $_SERVER["SCRIPT_URI"] will not return the domain name when I am in child/sub-pages but will only work on the main page.   I got a very weird problem and a weird solution: class Parent { protected void aProtectedMethod() { doSomething(); } } class Child extends Parent { void anotherMethod() { new SomeInterface() { public void interfaceMethod() { aProtectedMethod(); } }; } } When child.anotherMethod() is run, I got IllegalAccessException at myProtectedMethod(), saying my inner class doesn't have access to the Parent class... However, if I add: protected void aProtectedMethod() { super.aProtectedMethod(); } in my Child class, everything is fine... I wonder why this is?

  Does anybody know of a good Jquery solution to checking for swear words when a form is submitted? Basically I have a form which submits to Twitter, upon successfully passing a swear word check it will submit via ajax. I know how to do it in PHP (for non javascript enabled users), I did a foreach loop through an array of predefined bad words and checked them against what was submitted. How would I do a similar thing with Jquery? Thanks
