  • Microsoft flexgrid Control : Run-time error '438' Object doesnt support this property or method

    I am maintaining a legacy Microsoft Access application that is using the Microsoft Flexgrid 6.0. It recently started causing the following error: Run-time error '438' Object doesn't support this property or method People say that this error can be caused by the KB960715 security update being applied, which sets killbits on various ActiveX control methods which were deemed a security risk. But this or no other security update has been applied recently. Others say that installing Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 Service Pack 6 Cumulative Update will update the flex grid. This requires VB6 to be installed as a prerequisite so I installed that on my PC and then the update, and retrieved the updated MsFlxGrd.ocx file(Version: 6.1.98.12) and copied to the application machine, but the error still prevails. Someone here says you can disable the killbit in the registry. But there are afew hundred nodes in the location they suggest, none of which has the same guid as the one they point out. Any ideas?

    It seems that the following is to deep for the debugger in Qt even though the program uses it without problem typedef QMap <int, QStringList> day2FileNameType; typedef QMap <int, day2FileNameType> month2day2FileNameType; typedef QMap <int, month2day2FileNameType> year2month2day2FileNameType; year2month2day2FileNameType y2m2d2f; now the first 2 typeDefs work okay with the debugger but the third one retrieving data for watch view (over 100 pending request) Is it wrong for me to try and use such a typedef as year2month2day2FileNameType?

  • After Filter redirects to login.jsp, proper servlet doesnt get called

    My simple project structure is shown in this link. I am using Eclipse and Tomcat 6. There is login.jsp which submits its form to login_servlet. The login_servlet sets a session variable and then redirects to home.jsp. The home.jsp file has links to the 4 JSP files under a directory called /sam. In web.xml I have given the url-pattern as /sam/* for the LogFiler filter. The LogFilter just reads the session variable and does doChain(request,resposne) if valid, else it redirects to /login.jsp. RequestDispatcher rd = request.getRequestDispatcher("/login.jsp"); rd.forward(request,response); Basically I don't want anyone to access files inside /sam directory directly. Now let's say, I try to directly access a file inside /sam directory, the filter kicks in and the redirection to login.jsp works and even the broswers contents are that of login.jsp, but the url in the browser doesn't change. When I enter details and press submit, instead of sending the data to login_servlet, it sends it to sam/login_servlet and then tomcat tells me there is no such servlet here! Obviously there isn't. My doubt is why is it sending it so sam/login_servlet instead of /login_servlet which is usually what it does when I start running the login.jsp on my own. One more thing, is there a way I can apply the servlet to ONLY .jsp files inside /sam diectory? I tried giving the url-pattern like /sam/*.jsp, but Tomcat was refusing to accept that url-pattern.

  • RSS feed doesnt display items. Only title

    So i just made my first RSS feed, or so i tought, in combination with CI. Now my view DOES display the top of my rss page (Title and Description), But all items are omitted. When i rightclick-view source it DOES contain all the items within the item tags. Can anyone help me?     Hello! I found on the web few samples on tracking RTMP (Real Time Messaging Protocol) with Wireshark, but it doesn't work for me. All RTMPT packets rendered as basic TCP packet like this: 149 14.324999 85.115.xxx.xxx 192.168.1.20 TCP macromedia-fcs > 54557 [ACK] Seq=1 Ack=1452 Win=69 Len=0 I'm using Wireshark 1.2.8 with all protocols installed on Windows Vista.   • First tab doesnt show with Jquery UI Tabs using Cufon

    I'm using Cufon to render the font for my Jquery Tabs. A strange problem I'm finding is that with the first tab, the text isn't rendered. If I remove Cufon, the text is there, or if I remove jquery tabs (so that its just html list items) the text is there (properly rendered by cufon). There seems to be timing issue with the loading I think, where cufon renders the text, but then the jquery tabs css is applied, and perhaps they are 'breaking' each other.   • nHibernate one-to-many inserts but doesnt update

    Instead of getting into code, I have a simple question. Default behavior for a simple one-to-many is that it inserts the child record then updates the foreign key column with the parent key. Has anyone ever had a one-to-many where the child object gets inserted but not updated resulting in a row in my table with a null in the foreign key column? I want the default behaviour for a standard one-to-many. I don't want to have to add the parent as a property to the child. Thanks.

  • EXT JS toLayout on Viewport doesnt show anything...

    After reading many example about adding new components in to existing container without reloading whole page I run in to small problem while combining tree and tabs inside Viewport component. What I'm trying to do is to register on click event to tree node and load in to content container new component, depending on node type it can be tabpanel, gridpanel or any other available component. here is short example of tree object: { xtype: 'treepanel', id: 'tree-panel', listeners: { click: function(n) { var content = Ext.getCmp('content-panel'); content.setTitle(n.attributes.qtip); //remove all components from content-panel content.removeAll(); content.add(dummy_tabs2); content.doLayout(); return; } }} All DOM manipulation went fine, everything registered properly, new Title shown, but dummy_tabs2 are not shown. I did try to set various properties for doLayout(true|false, true|false) but nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong?
