  • 301 redirect bulk aspx URLs on IIS

    We recently relaunched an old ASPX site as a new Drupal site on the same domain. No 301 redirect was implemented. I have outputted a list of 1000 URLs that need to be 301 redirected. Most of the URLs are the results of search queries that were committed on the website. I.E.: http://www.mysite.com/electronics/CommunityDetails.aspx?FirstLetter=%&ID=444 We are running a Drupal site on IIS using a PHP plugin. Is there a way I can wild card a redirect of all ASPX pages? I know I can do it with .htaccess but that doesn't apply here. Any suggestions appreciated.

What should be in ? I don't want to put " (B1*)this " in the ? place, because it's no good to use "this" in initialization list. And since B1 part has been initialized, it makes sense to use it.     i've been looking the whole day how to setcookies in wordpress. in my way i found out (using the developer toolbar) that the cookie is set but still not working. i have 2 files the first contains the login form redirecting to another page to set the cookie and return to another page to check if it's working. domain which is tested on is like this : blog.mydomain.com. here's the setcookie file : <?php setcookie("user_name","test",time()+3600); ?> and chcking the cookie like this : if(isset($_COOKIE["user_name"])){ echo "cookie exists"; } else{ echo "cookie doesn't exist"; } i've read many topics about this issue but there was no clear answer.   • Troubleshooting Multiple Endpoints Problem in WCF

    I have been using WCF for a few years now and am fairly comfortable with it, however there is one simple WCF concept that I have yet to employ and am having difficulties with it. Following this article about WCF addressing as it specifically relates to multiple endpoints in IIS I see these two excerpts: "Suppose you have a file named calc.svc and you place it in a virtual directory that corresponds to (http://localhost:8080/calcservice). The base address for this service will be (http://localhost:8080/calcservice/calc.svc)." and "Now, consider the endpoint configuration found in the virtual directory’s web.config file (in Figure 3). In this case, the address of the first endpoint becomes the same as the base address (http://localhost:8080/calcservice/calc.svc) since I left the endpoint address empty. The address of the second endpoint becomes the combination of the base address appended with "secure", like this: (http://localhost:8080/calcservice/calc.svc/secure)." Now in my application I'm trying to create two endpoints for the same service (shown below). The service name is MainService.svc. For endpoint one I have address="" and endpoint two has address="Soap11". Bringing the site up in IIS I can successfully hit this URL: (https://localhost:444/MainService.svc). This is the base address for the service according to all the documentation I can find. According to this article and others I have seen that confirm its information I should have the second endpoint at (https://localhost:444/MainService.svc/Soap11) but if I navigate to that URL I get a .Net exception indicating the resource is not found. Is there a tool I can use to see where my different endpoints will be available? Maybe some IIS or aspnet_isapi.dll logging I can turn on? My web.config section defining my endpoints follows. For example, I have predictable arrays of values such as 1 => [1, 2, 444, 0.987], 2 => [2, 23, 123, -0.234], 3 => [3, 1, 34, 1.456] I would like to store the above in a TC fixed length db. Is there a way to store the above as arrays instead of as strings?

  • nginx : backend https, proxy_pass shows ip

    I am using nginx as a reverse proxy listening at port 80 (http). I am using proxy_pass to forward requests to backend http and https servers. Everything works fine for my http server but when I try to reach the https server through nginx reverse proxy the ip of the https server is shown in the client's web browser. I want the uri of the nginx server to be shown instead of the https backend server's ip (once again, this works fine with the http server but not for the https server).   • Keeps "SSH timeout" error in our AWS instance- how do i diagnose?

    I am befuddled by this error. We keep failing to SSH into our AWS instance, whether it is is deployment or via console. I have tried rebooting a few times, but it does not seem to be helping. Here are a couple of error messages i keep getting. connection failed for: HOST.NAME.amazonaws.com (Errno::ETIMEDOUT: Operation timed out - connect(2)) 111.222.333.444: ssh connection failed at 2010-07-02 03:39:37 I also SSHed in when it was up, and monitored "top" when ssh times out. looking at the memory logs, it does not look like any program was hogging

  • Nginx access log shows authenticated user "admin"

    I came across a line in my Nginx access log: 218.201.121.99 - admin [12/Dec/2012:18:33:18 +0800] "GET /manager/html HTTP/1.1" 444 0 "-" "-" Let me stress that there is only 1 record with this IP. Notice the authenticated user admin. After some googling, I was able to find out only that this is authenticated user (http://wiki.nginx.org/HttpCoreModule#.24remote_user), which was authenticated by the Auth Basic Module (http://wiki.nginx.org/HttpAuthBasicModule). However, nowhere in my site (configuration) do I use HTTP basic authentication. What is going on? How did it get there? Was the user authenticated?

But for HTTPS request, I lose the "forwardfor" information. I need to save the client IP address. How can I use HAproxy to load balance across a number of SSL servers, allowing those servers to know the client's IP address?

  • OpenLDAP with StartTLS broken on Debian Lennny

    I'm trying to get OpenLDAP on Lenny to work with StartTLS. I have a Fedora 13 machine which I'm using as a client for testing. So far the Fedora client is ignoring the 'host' directive in /etc/ldap.conf when I try to connect using ldapsearch. The client wants to connect to 127.0.0.1:389 even if I specify -H ldaps://server.name on when using ldapsearch. /etc/ldap.conf on the client machine is in mode 444. But even when I try connecting locally from an ssh session, I see errors like this: ldap_sasl_interactive_bind_s: Can't contact LDAP server (-1) Someone hit me with a cluebat, plz. Update: you must use ~/.ldaprc for settings such as 'host'.

  • Nginx. How do I reject request to unlisted ssl virtual server?

    I have a wildcard SSL certificate and several subdomains on the same ip. Now I want my nginx to handle only mentioned server names and drop connection for others so that it'd look like nginx is not running for unlisted server names (not responding, rejecting, dead, not a single byte in response). I do the following ssl_certificate tls/domain.crt; ssl_certificate_key tls/domain.key; server { listen 1.2.3.4:443 ssl; server_name validname.domain.com; // } server { listen 1.2.3.4:443 ssl; server_name _; // deny all; // return 444; // return 404; //location { // deny all; //} } I've tried almost everything in the last server block, but no success. I get either valid response from known virtual server or error code. Please help.

    When I try to send a mail from my Linux (CentOS) server, the exit status is 0, but the mail never reaches it's destination. The /var/log/maillog file has an entry something like this... Mar 18 06:33:01 app11 postfix/qmgr[22454]: F18FD9F6074: to=<[email protected]>, relay=none, delay=0.01, delays=0/0/0/0, dsn=4.4.1, status=deferred (delivery temporarily suspended: connect to alt4.gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com[74.125.45.27]: Connection refused) Am I blocked by google? I tried to send a mail to some other mail server and got the similar result. Mar 18 06:33:01 app1 postfix/smtp[15460]: connect to acsinet11.xxx.com[111.222.333.444]: Connection refused (port 25) How do I correct this problem?

    I'm trying to use Monit to check the permissions of a particular directory, but I only care that it's readable to all users. I don't care about any other permissions (write, execute) for the owner, group, or all. I also don't care about any special permissions. Knowing that I can't change the permissions of this directory, and with the possibility of another administrator changing these permissions without affecting my processes that rely on this directory (i.e., granting or revoking write access to the group), is it possible to check for a minimum permission in Monit? I have this which is currently working: check directory archive path /var/home/archive/ if failed perm 0755 then alert But I would like to have something like tihs: check directory archive path /var/home/archive/ if failed perm > 444 then alert This is failing for me. Is it possible to use comparison operators in Monit's permissions checking? If not, are there any workarounds?
