  • Excel sum from column based on another column

    I have two columns. The values in the first one are either blank or have a 1. The values in the second one is a number. I also have a variable field. At the bottom of each column, I'd like to have a "total" field, which checks if there is a value (of 1) in the first column, and if there is, adds this up from the value of the second column (on the same row) and multiplies it by the variable. for example: variable 10 name1 name2 counter 1 2 1 3 1 1 3 1 4 totals 100 50 since name1 has 3 1's in it's column, it takes each value from the counter column, and multiplies it by the variable, and outputs the total I'm sorry if this has been asked, I've tried searching but I have a hard time understanding the excel syntaxes.   • Cisco: Site-to-site VPN with cisco 878 and ASA weirdness

    I currently have 2 sites, both connected to each other through 2 firewalls / routers in a site-to-site VPN. Pinging from server to server (Using 2mb/2mb SDSL) through that VPN obviously works, however, at one site, we have another internet connection (7m/400k ADSL), and only the link between the two sites should be on the other connection. All pc's should go over the other connection for internet, just communication between servers & Communication between pc's and the server at the other side should go through there too. What is configured at the moment is the server is using the SDSL directly as default gateway. Since it's not intended to surf anything it is a safe config. PC's are configured on the ADSL as default gateway. Now I wanted to route through everything that uses the range used on the other site, it should be sent from the ADSL modem to the SDSL modem, which has the VPN connection. I figured I could use OSPF to do so, however, OSPF doesn't seem to "detect" the range of the external site. Also (due to bad ip subnetting thanks to the other administrator), the ip used internally as the server on the other site also exists on the internet (causing a lot of confusion), so rdp-ing from our server to the server of the other site works (somehow), but tracerouting on the SDSL router (which should actually, in my opinion, go over the VPN) actually goes all over the internet. My question(s): Why doesn't the SDSL router ping the external ip through VPN, but the server does? Why can't I route from the ADSL router to the SDSL over VPN? I would seriously appreciate some help, since I can't figure out why it does it like this.

  • Moving from single-site to multi-site Active Directory has broken OWA proxying

    Originally we had the following setup: OfficeExch01 has Mailbox Role and CAS Role OfficeExch01 is in the office. CoLoExch01 had just CAS Role. CoLoExch01 is internet facing and in a CoLo. Three AD domain controllers in the default site. Users could go to https://webmail.whatever.com/owa, get proxyed to OfficeExch01 and everything was great. Well, we recently setup a separate AD site and put a domain controller and the ColoExch01 server in the new site. I also made that remote DC be a Global Catalog. Now, users get the following error: Outlook Web Access is not available. If the problem continues, contact technical support for your organization and tell them the following: There is no Microsoft Exchange Client Access server that has the necessary configuration in the Active Directory site where the mailbox is stored. I also see event 41 errors in the logs: The Client Access server "https://webmail.xxxxxxx.com/owa" attempted to proxy Outlook Web Access traffic for mailbox "/o=XXXXX/ou=Exchange Administrative Group (FYDIBOHF23SPDLT)/cn=Recipients/cn=xxxxxxk". This failed because no Client Access server with an Outlook Web Access virtual directory configured for Kerberos authentication could be found in the Active Directory site of the mailbox. The simplest way to configure an Outlook Web Access virtual directory for Kerberos authentication is to set it to use Integrated Windows authentication by using the Set-OwaVirtualDirectory cmdlet in the Exchange Management Shell, or by using the Exchange Management Console. If you already have a Client Access server deployed in the target Active Directory site with an Outlook Web Access virtual directory configured for Kerberos authentication, the proxying Client Access server may not be finding that target Client Access server because it does not have an internalUrl parameter configured. You can configure the internalUrl parameter for the Outlook Web Access virtual directory on the Client Access server in the target Active Directory site by using the Set-OwaVirtualDirectory cmdlet. Looking this up I see a lot talk about ExternalURL and InternalURL settings. However, everything worked great until we made the new AD site. I also made sure the internal CAS server's /owa virtual directory is set to use Integrated Authentication. Is there something I need to do to allow Exchange to see that I've made these AD changes?

The site has many thousands of outbound links (with "nofollow" attributes) to the content source websites where the reviews were collected from. The site has far more outbound links than inbound links and I have read that this is bad for SEO. The question Would adding an intermediate «You are leaving this site» disclaimer/warning page like this hurt search engine rankings? And can you provide any links about this topic? p.s. The exit page would be a POST form instead of a script, that notifies the user that he/she is leaving this site and provides a button to continue to the other website. p.p.s This kind of idea is implemented on many forums, aggregation websites with the purpose of warning the user that he/she is leaving this site and to block search engine bots from following those links because search bots do not submit forms.

  • Site to Site VPN with Fault Tolerence

    Hello, I have a situation where I require an IPSEC tunnel between two sites. Site 2 is a small branch office with basic (ADSL) connectivity and Site 1 is the "main" office with SDSL and ADSL for redundancy should the SDSL fail. From Site 1, all traffic bound for the 172.0.0.0 network will then be sent down another IPSEC tunnel to a supplier's Remote Server. See this page for the basic premise (this is a rough idea and things can be moved about etc...) I am considering specifying Cisco ASA devices as the firewalls for both sites for all connections. Would it be possible to employ something like HSRC to provide a backup at Site 1 should the SDSL go down? I suppose the key aims here are that Site 2 can somehow failover to initiate a VPN to the ASA behind the ADSL at Site 1. I will have a 21 subnet mask on all internet connections so can play with Class C routing if need be... If I'm barking up the wrong tree with HSRC, is there another way I can acheive this without massive expenditure on Barracuda routers et al? Many Thanks.

  • Route through site-to-site VPN not working

    I'm trying to set up a site-to-site VPN using RRAS on two 2K8r2 servers since yesterday. The connection is working at this point, but I can't get it to send traffic from one site to the other one. Set up: the set up is the same on both sites: the server is connected to a router that's connected to a modem. The routers act like a DHCP-server and assign IP addresses from the range subnet.21-subnet-.100. Both servers use a static IP address, subnet.11, and are set up as DMZ. Configuration: the servers are configured using the wizard to set up a site-to-site connection. This works with a demand-dial interface and a PPTP VPN connection. As mentioned, the VPN connection work properly. Problem: I can't get the servers to send the traffic for the other site, to be sent through the VPN connection. I added a static route on both server (home, office 1) and I can see the result in the IP routing table (home, office 1). I did this because the route didn't show up automatically. My guess is that this last step isn't right, for example because the routing table states "non demand-dial", which seems not correct. Home: Subnet: 10.0.1.0/24 Router: 10.0.1.1 Server: 10.0.1.11 (DMZ) DHCP: 10.0.1.21-10.0.1.100 RRAS DHCP: 10.0.1.101-10.0.1.150 Office 1: Subnet: 10.0.2.0/24 Router: 10.0.2.1 Server: 10.0.2.11 (DMZ) DHCP: 10.0.2.21-10.0.2.100 RRAS DHCP: 10.0.2.101-10.0.2.150 I hope someone has an idea to get this route working!

    Possible Duplicate: My server's been hacked EMERGENCY We've usually host our clients site, but we aren't hosting this one. The website itself (weddle-funeral.com) works just fine. if you load google and search for weddle funeral stayton oregon - and click that link, the site links to a scammy pill site. I went through the site and there were some php files in the wordpress plugins that got quarantined by my antivirus. I removed ALL non essential files, and uploaded fresh versions of all the plugins, but it's STILL redirecting from google. I tried logging in to the cpanel (on a virtual private server), and the cpanel flashed a red warning screen The site's security certificate is not trusted! You attempted to reach XXXXX.com, but the server presented a certificate issued by an entity that is not trusted by your computer's operating system. This may mean that the server has generated its own security credentials, which Google Chrome cannot rely on for identity information, or an attacker may be trying to intercept your communications. You should not proceed, especially if you have never seen this warning before for this site. (Keep in mind, that's for the HOSTING accounts CPanel) Is there something in the SERVER probably that's causing the redirect?     I'm working with MS SQL SERVER 2003. I want to change a column in one of my tables to have fewer characters in the entries. This is identical to this question: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2281336/altering-a-table-column-to-accept-more-characters except for the fact that I want fewer characters instead of more. I have a column in one of my tables that holds nine-digit entries. A developer previously working on the table mistakenly set the column to hold ten-digit entries. I need to change the type from CHAR(10) to CHAR(9). Following the instructions from the discussion linked above, I wrote the statement ALTER TABLE [MY_TABLE] ALTER COLUMN [MY_COLUMN] CHAR(9); This returns the error message "String or binary data would be truncated". I see that my nine-digit strings have a space appended to make them ten digits. How do I tell SQL Server to discard the extra space and convert my column to a CHAR(9) type?

  • Drupal - Site Building, Menus

    Hi, I'm working with Drupal for the first time and trying to figure out how to change the Menu item names through the Administer Site Building configuration menus. I have logged into the Drupal admin site and navigated to Administer/ Site Building/ Menus, select the menu item and click Edit, change the Title from , 'About' to 'About Us' however when loading the site page it still says 'About' Please pardon my lack of understanding on drupal, i am somewhat familiar with joomla another CMS however I just need some pointers in the right direction as to how to edit the links and rename them within drupal. the links are not images as far as i can tell while viewing the source and properties on the links.   • Tunnel is up but cannot ping directly connected network

    We configured a site-to-site VPN and here is the topology. I control the network on the left but not the one on the right. All devices in our network has public IPs. Server---ASA5505---Cisco887======Internet=====ASA5510---devices I can see the tunnel is up and can do extended ping using a loopback interface. From the 10.175 and 10.165 networks, they can also ping my loopback address.   • How can I redirect any kind of access to my site to somewhere else, except for me?

    My site, www.example.com has a MyBB forum installation, and has many users constantly checking it out. I would like to make a major change to it - basically, I want to delete everything it has and start clean. However, this rebuilding process may take me hours since I need to do a lot of things. Thus, whenever an user tries to enter any part of my site (www.example.com, www.example.com/blog etc), the user will always be redirected to www.example.com/underconstruction so they can see a nice HTML site explaining the current situation. But not only that - while I am configuring my site, I need to visit it myself to make sure things do work live. So basically, it has to redirect everyone who isn't me. Is that possible in any way? I am using GoDaddy hosting.

  • Minimum permission required to access Site Columns page and edit site columns

    We've started to adopt SharePoint 2010, and are starting to manually migrate content from SharePoint 2007 sites to new sites we're rebuilding from scratch in SP2010. One of the things we previously had supported was to delegate responsibility for managing some of our site columns to a member of the team. The team member is not familiar with SharePoint internals, and doesn't want the responsibility of full permissions to the site and all its objects. We're now trying to figure out what the minimum permission is that we need to grant our team member, so they can continue to edit (& propagate) the content of the site columns we've defined. Permissions he currently has (which are obviously insufficient): Site permissions (according to _layouts/user.aspx): Read, Contribute, Manage Lists Permissions for specific objects in the site (according to _layouts/people.aspxMembershipGroupId=xxx, then choosing Settings, View Group Permissions): server/sites/[sitename]: Contribute server/sites/[sitename]/Lists/[a list with columns that inherit from site columns]: "Contribute No Delete" Note: the "Contribute No Delete" permission is a custom permission I designed by copying the SharePoint-native "Contribute" permission set and deselecting the Delete permission. The "Manage Lists" permission is a custom permission I designed that includes the following specific permissions: (List Permissions) Manage Lists, View Items; (Site Permissions) View Pages, Open. Operations that are throwing access denied errors: _layouts/mngfield.aspx: SharePoint returns the "Error: Access Denied" dialog, and provides three clickable options: "Sign in as a different user", "Request access", and "Go back to site" _layouts/fldedit.aspx?field=Level%5Fx0020%5F3 [one of the site columns we've defined]: can load the page and type in changes to the textboxes "...but when I press OK (save changes) I get the same message above." When our team member clicks the "Request access" link, the email I receive sends me to a page that recommends that I grant the user membership in the "[sitename] Users" group - of which he's already a member. So while SP2010 tries to request access, it doesn't actually direct me to either (a) a valid group that has the correct permissions or (b) the specific object to which I need to grant our team member access. Also note: on the SP2007 (MOSS) site (where our team member was successful in managing Site Column edits), they had dozens of additional permissions throughout the site that we do not wish to blindly re-allocate in SP2010 until we know they're necessary. Any help anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated.

    For Juniper NetScreen-NS25, I configured a site-to-site IPSec tunnnel. For the outside interface of remote site, I also needed to go through tunnel which has the same IP as IPSec gateway. Now, when I add static route to route that outside interface IP through tunnel while tunnel is up, there would be no problem at all but if the tunnel is down for some reason, it cannot be re-established as the routing for the IPSec gateway IP which is the same as outside interface IP is set to go through tunnel which it needed to re-etablish at that time. So, packets won't hit that IP. I tried adding another routing entry which has metric 2 through other gateway but it did'nt succeeded. So, what type of routing should I configure to reach that IP when tunnel is down. Thanks in advance.

  • Silverlight DataGrid Exception Reordering Column Headers

    I'm trying to set the initial display order of the column headers in a silverlight datagrid by changing the column header DisplayIndex values. If I try to set the column order at page load time, I get an out of range exception. If I set the column order (same routine) at a later time like, in a button click handler, it works. Is this just a bug in the silverlight datagrid control? Suggestions for a possible work around?

  • SlickGrid V2.0 Column name/id does not follow column when dragging

    I have an application (using SlickGrid) where I need to get the column name or id at any time when user clicks on a cell (this pulls up a menu specific to the data in that column/cell). Grid works fine initially but if the column is moved (drag/drop), the column name/id does not follow the drop but remains mapped to it's initial column position. Has anyone else seen this and, if so, how did you fix it? Thanks
