    How to setup a wifi ap (access point mode) hotspot, with IPv6 support? I've set up a hotspot according to the guide to wifi ap hotspot setup and it works fine. But via the hotspot I failed to visit IPv6 websites. How can I setup a hotspot able to share Ipv6 Internet access? Thanks! Further: Actually I've tried to setup IPv6 forwarding and masquerading. First enabling IPv6 forwarding: echo 1 | sudo tee net/ipv6/conf/default/forwarding Then I tried to execute: sudo ip6tables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -s 2001:db8:0:1::/64 -o eth0 -j MASQUERADE But it gave me an error: ip6tables v1.4.12: Couldn't load target `MASQUERADE':No such file or directory I searched through the Internet but I get confused.   • using ubuntu command line to replace text in huge file

    hi i have a huge xml file that i must work with. right now the file is only 1 line that contains about 2 million characters which represent 30,000 records. there are no carriage returns or linefeeds whatsoever. what i need to do is make each record on its own line. new records begin with "" and end with "". i've been looking around here and it seems the tools to use are: sed, tr or awk but i'm not sure which is most appropriate. i've tried this to no avail: tr '<ROW' '\012 <ROW' <source.xml |tee destination.xml above seems to output some pretty weird stuff so i must be way off here. maybe its that "<" character that is the problem?

    Hi, I've been using this method to gain access to internet from my Android emulator emulator -http-proxy < -avd < It works but is that the best way to do it? It just doesn't feel right that I need to open the emulator from command line and can't just do it from Eclipse or something. Can't seem to find an internet option on the "AVD Manager" either.     Hi, I'm using the Android APIDemo sample code. When I run the CameraPreview example, at first it was giving me an error. (http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2556389/android-camera-functionality-howto) I traced that one down and the sample was working for a while. Now, it no longer works. It says ERROR/AndroidRuntime(2949): java.lang.RuntimeException: Fail to connect to camera service What can be causing that? It happens when camera.open() is called. Thanks, Tee

    Hi, I'm on Mac Snow Leopard and I just installed git. I just tried git clone [email protected]:cakebook.git but that gives me this error. Initialized empty Git repository in /Users/username/Documents/cakebook/.git/ Permission denied (publickey). fatal: The remote end hung up unexpectedly What am I missing?     I have a script that looks like this #!/bin/bash function something() { echo "hello world!!" } something | tee logfile I have set the execute permission on this file and when I try running the file like this $./script.sh it runs perfectly fine, but when I run it on the command line like this $sh script.sh It throws up an error. Why does this happen and what are the ways in which I can fix this.

    Hi, I've created a UIView (of type ColumnView) in Interface Builder. Is it possible to add that UIView multiple times to my window? I'm trying to create a UIView template that I can add to my window in a couple of places but can't figure out how to do that. I tried referencing the outlet of that UIView to 2 different IBOutlets but when I add the 2 outlets to my window, it's just treated as a single UIView. Need the UIView to be duplicated. Thanks, Tee

    Hi, I'm trying to modified the way TimePicker works as asked in my question here http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2580216/android-timepicker-minutes-to-15 To be able to do that I need to know if the + and - button was clicked and to disable the input field.     Hi, How do I bind / initialize Shadowbox to content loaded by jQuery using AJAX? Right now shadowbox works when I first come into the site. However, when I swap the content with a new one loaded through AJAX, these new batch of content doesn't do the shadowbox popup, instead it just redirect to the content.     Hi, I just finished setting up my Eclipse with the Android plug-in. (i.e https://dl-ssl.google.com/android/eclipse/) Now when I do the following 1. Eclipse Preferences Android, I see a lot of "Target Name" like Android 1.1 - Android 2.1 However, in the book that I'm reading, I'm also supposed to see a "Target Name" called "Google APIs".     Hi, I'm using jqTouch. Trying to figure out why when the scene / div change, it just change abruptly without the slide animation? Here is the setting that I have now: var jQT = new $.jQTouch({ slideSelector: '.link', useAnimations: true }); Again the scene change works just fine, just that I don't see the slide animation.
