  • Change field access to getter / setter method access

    Hi everyone, is it possible to change external class field accesses in Java to getter / setter calls automatically, and also hide the exposed fields? I'm using Javabeans and I want change notifications when a field property changes (this is important). I've found cglib which can automatically insert the property change call to the PropertyChangeSupport field. I'd like this question to be a discussion of the issues posed and their solutions. I know about Project Lombok, but this appears to modify the source code, and additionally doesn't support field access modification. Perhaps with modifications to Lombok, this could be supported, or are there other solutions? Cheers and thanks in advance, Chris

  • Build an unbound form in Acess 2007

    I have an access application that has a form that allows the user to enter case notes. The main field of this form is tied to a SQL Server varchar(MAX) field in the source table. Since the users switched to Access 2007, their program keeps crashing when they are on the case notes form. As a possible solution to this problem, I would like to try unbinding this form and re-building it as an unbound form. This form needs to be able to add and update records into my SQL Server database. It also needs to be able to browse between records. I guess I am at a loss as to where to start. Any suggestions/code snippets is appreciated.

  • How to access website CMS with only access to database

    I have a website that uses an "in-house" cms and I don't know the login details. The platform itself doesn't have the "reset your password" functionality. I do have access to ftp and phmyadmin and I found the SQL table containing the user details, but of course the password is MD5 encryption. I tried manually creating a user in php my admin and filling in a password encrypted in MD5 (used a md service online for that), but it still doesn't work. Does anybody know other tricks I can use? Thanks.

  • Add DNS suffixes to a Sonicwall PRO2040 firewall?

    I want to have our network pass out DNS suffixes with the DHCP assignments, so that we don't need to add them to the TCP/IP settings on each computer. Our DHCP is not being handled by an actual server box, but by our Sonicwall firewall, which is a PRO 2040. Can this firewall be set up to append DNS suffixes? Thanks!

    Here's the scenario: Work network - I have a Mac and a PC - OS X is Snow Leopard - Windows 7 I am trying to connect to the PC from the Mac. IT ONLY works if I turn off the firewall in Windows. I tried to trace the port and connection it was using, it appears to be on port 445 via TCP. I really prefer not to leave this open, or is it OK? How can I only allow this connection while still leaving the firewall on?

Im remotely accessing this firewall from a different location by SSH, but would like to use the asdm to access it remotely. I have configured the HTTP SERVER enable and assigned http 10.11.12.254 255.255.255.255 inside Please can someone let me know the config which can help me access this firewall using ASDM.

I have a group policy that disables the windows firewall but SP3 is turning it on. Is there any way in GPO that I can turn this off, or is there a setting in SP3 that can be done globally. Cheers

  • How to debug nondeterministic access violation crash?

    Our C#/COM/C++ application is crashing and I need help debugging it. Running with gflags enabled and WinDbg attached, we determined the crashes are caused by an access violation, but we haven't been able to narrow it down any more than that. We are not seeing the issue on all machines; there are a couple of machines that seem to reproduce the issue frequently but not deterministically. We have observed the application crash from simply switching away from the application (say, Alt-Tab) and then back. Output from WinDbg is below. We have been trying to systematically comment out areas of code that could be causing the problem, but we haven't had much success yet.     I have the following data in my database: MemberID | DateTime ------------------------------------- 1 | 31/03/2010 3:45:49 PM 2 | 31/03/2010 3:55:29 PM 1 | 31/03/2010 4:45:49 PM Every time a user is authenticated or un-authenticated this log appears in the database. What I want to be able to do is total the time for a given user and date. Member 1 was online for 1 hour and 37 minutes.
