• Multiple computers in SBS domain that need a Remote Desktop Connection with a sub domain

  Hi all, I've been searching the internet for a while for this answer. I have a bunch of computers that are part of a small business server domain and would like to be able to connect to each one individually with remote desktop connection using a subdomain, like: computer1.mydomain.org computer2.mydomain.org etc... I can currently connect to the server easily using an A record with the subdomain pointing to the static IP address with home.mydomain.org, so computer1.home.mydomain.org would also be cool. Thanks!

• How can I change a search provider's URL in IE8?

  Now that Google finally allows searching over HTTPS, I switched all my browsers to use https://google.com by default (I documented my effort in my blog). The only browser I couldn't change the URL string in, is IE8. You can either add, remove, or change the priority of a search provider - as far as I've seen. Can anyone suggest a way to change the default search behavior in E8 to go to HTTPS? Thanks.

  Is there some sort add on or program that lets me easily change (and choose) songs using keyboard shortcuts (or perhaps Spotlight)? The ideal program would add iTunes indexing to Spotlight and allow me to change songs by searching for them in Spotlight (but then not switch the focus to iTunes). I do believe that there was a plugin for Launchy on Windows to do a similar thing. Is such a program available?

A closely related question from 2011: Are there any extensions or tricks to reopen several closed tabs in Safari Update Safari is now at 6.0.2: having the ability to re-open multiple closed tabs would still very much improve usability (i.e. not having to go searching the History). • Cannot enable wireless Ubuntu 10.04

  I have recently installed Ubuntu 10.04, however I am having trouble getting wireless to work. Ubuntu says that wireless is disabled, and I am unable to enable it. I have tried Administration Hardware Drivers however the only drivers listed are Nivida graphics ones. I am unsure what to do as I do not think the process is the same as searching for drivers for a windows machine. Any advice appreciated.

• Firefox: fast dictionary language switching

  I have two language dictionaries installed on Firefox 3.6, and I would like to be able to switch really fast between them, using the keyboard. At the moment the only way I know I can switch is right clicking in a text input field, go into Language, and then click the language. I would instead to be able to switch between those two just hitting two keys at most, if possible just one (something like F13). Searching for addons I've found tons of extensions somewhat related but that don't actually do what I want.

I wish to make a PDF, which would be searchable (based on the text from the source, the changes would remain as they are). • OpenTK C# Loading Model (3DS?) for display and animation

  For the last few days i have been searching for a model importer that support skeletal movement using OpenTK (C#, OpenGL). I am avoiding writing it myself because firstly i am only just learning OpenGL, but also because i don't see why there's a necessity in recreating the wheel. What do you guys use to import your models? I find it interesting that 90% of OpenTK users will import models for various projects, yet i havn't found a single working importer. Could any of you share your code or point me in the direction of a good loader? 3DS files would be best, but anything that can be exported from an autodesk program would be fine, as long as it uses skeleton animation.   I have a REST API to manage a booking system I'm searching how to manage this situation : A customer can book a time slot : A TimeSlot resource is created and linked to a Person resource. In order to create the link between a time lot and a person, the REST client send a POST request on the TimeSlot resource But if too many people booked the same slot (let's say the limit is 5 links), it must be impossible to create more associations. How can I handle this business restriction ? Can I return a 404 status code with a JSON response detailing the error with a status code ? Is it a RESTFul approach ? • Python requests SSL version

  I am using the python requests module on Ubuntu 13.04. I keep getting the error: requests.exceptions.SSLError: [Errno 1] _ssl.c:504: error:14077410:SSL routines:SSL23_GET_SERVER_HELLO:sslv3 alert handshake failure When I use curl, it fails by default but succeeds with the -3 option. curl https://username:Password@helloworldurl -3 This leads me to believe that it is the SSL version, which I found may be badly supported on ubuntu while searching the error. Sooo. How do I change or check the SSL version using python preferably with requests. Note: the url is private and cannot be given out. Sorry.
