  • 404 Pages in ASP.NET MVC

    I'm building my first ASP.NET MVC website, and I'm trying to figure out how to implement a 404 page. Should I create a controller called "404Controller?" If so, how do I then register this Controller with IIS so that it redirects 404s to that page? Also, in a situation where something is not found (in the database, for example) by some other Controller code, how would I redirect the request to my 404 page?

    i have search high and low on the internet and it does not exist. i cant find a single website that shows a few applications created with realbasic. i saw a video that shows the user going to realbasic.com/community/ and it shows a load of applications created using realbasic. would anyone know where i can find this information. that link that i gave doesnt even work by them.

  • Any suggestions for testing extjs code in a browser, preferably with selenium?

    We've been using selenium with great success to handle high-level website testing (in addition to extensive python doctests at a module level). However now we're using extjs for a lot of pages and its proving difficult to incorporate Selenium tests for the complex components like grids. Has anyone had success writing automated tests for extjs-based web pages? Lots of googling finds people with similar problems, but few answers. Thanks!

  • Html / Email / Distribution list problem from a noob

    I need to create a feature for a website that will allow a user to enter their email in order to receive a free promotion (which will be emailed immediately) and be added to an announcement list. I haven't done any web programming and am wondering where I should start? Should I just create a database and everytime an email is entered, add the email to the database, then when I want to send out an announcement just write a script that will send an email to every address? "|"; } echo substr($outPos, 0, strlen($outPost) - 1); } So, each bookmark is given it's own link_count id (which starts from 0 for each user). Every time a bookmark is changed, I need the link_count to be changed as needed. If we take this array output as the starting places: Array ( [0] => 0 [1] => 1 [2] => 2 [3] => 3 [4] => 4 [5] => 5 ) Each index equalling the link_count position, the resulting update would become: Array ( [0] => 1 [1] => 0 [2] => 3 [3] => 4 [4] => 5 [5] => 2 ) I have tried many ways but none are successful.   • My profile avatar doesn't work! [closed]

    How can I change my avatar on stackoverflow.com? I click the change picture link in my profile but it link to gravatar website, then I select the picture for my gravatar associated with my email. But my avatar on stackoverflow.com still not changes after 24hours as announced. Somebody has a work-around? Please help!
