• See a white band at the bottom of screen while adding view to window programatically in iphone?

  Hello all, When I developed a view based project in XCode, My view works fine. But when I use a window based project and create a view on my own and try adding it as a subview to window, it gives me a white band at the bottom. I never faced this issue before but facing it first time. Anyone having a solution? Tnx in advance.

  Hello, I added ffmpeg iphone port into my library and I can able to use a few of its functions like avcodec_init(),.. without any errors. Should I break up the characters in the query, and individually perform a LIKE % % match on each character against the row, or is there any easier way to get a row that contains one of the two characters? I'm trying to compose something like this: SELECT trans_type, (SELECT parameter_value FROM transaction_details WHERE id = MAX(t.trans_id)) FROM (SELECT trans_id, trans_type FROM transactions) t GROUP BY trans_type So, I am trying to use a result of grouping inside an inner query. But I am getting the error that I cannot use a group function inside the inner query: ORA-00934: group function is not allowed here Can you offer an alternative other than resorting to another outer query?

  Hello, I am using a PHP/MySQL login script that sends a new user an activation email. When a new user registers, the info is put into MySQL pretty much instantly, but then it takes about 4 minutes for the activation email to arrive in the new user's inbox. It seems like sites like Facebook and Twitter can get out an activation email instantly when a new user registers.   Hello, I have a web application coded in C#/ASP.NET. The application basically exports a PDF file when the user click on Save. It then reloads a DIV, putting the EMBED (with the src pointing to the newly generated pdf file) in it. Sometimes the embed area just gets black and I get this window from Acrobat Reader: http://img180.imageshack.us/img180/3359/acreader.jpg. What does it mean? Has anyone ever see this?
