• C# DateTime Class and Datetime in database

  Hello . I have the following problem. I have an object with some DateTime properties , and a Table in database that I store all that objects , in Sql server I want to store the DateTime properties in some columns of DateTime Datatype, but the format of datetime in sql server is different from the DateTime class in c# and I got an sql exception saying "DateTime cannot be parsed". I know how to solve this by making the format yyyy-MM-dd but is this the proper and best solution to do this?

  Hello, I am using VS 2008 and .Net Framework 3.5 when i compile project i m getting error Compiler executable file csc.exe cannot be found. I have checked that csc.exe is also exist in the .net frame work folder. When i change compiler version 3.5 to 2.0 it starts working but My 3.5 Features are not available there like LINQ. I have try everything, Update .Net Framework, Install latest service Pack. Please help me out this Problem.

  Hello, I have some Regex, it looks like this: string regexForDrop = @"^((%27)|'|(\-\-))\s*(d|%64|%44)(r|%72|%52)(o|%6F|%4F)(p|%70|%50)$"; It works fine, when i write to the input "--drop", but it does not works, when i write "drop table users" or something like that. I need that it would be working, no matter what comes after "--drop". How i can implement that? Thanks

The result type of my full text search function in LINQ is a special autogenerated type which includes KEY and RANK in addition to my regular domain object properties. So, if my regular domain object is PERSONS (with properties FirstName, LastName etc.), I also have a result object PERSONS_FTSResult with the same properties + KEY and RANK.   Hello I built a webusercontrol in asp.net which contains a databound dropdown. When I directly put this control into a webform it runs well. But if I try to add this control as childcontrol to another control at runtime Childcontrol childcontrol = new Childcontrol (); maincontrol.controls.add(childcontrol) , the dropdown of the childcontrol is not instatiated (is null) so that I run in an exception by trying to bind the data to the dropdown.

Im trying this simple calculation in a Java application: System.out.println("b=" + (1 - 7/10)); Obviously Im wainting for "b=0.3" in the output but here's what I get: b=1 What?! Why this happens? If I make: System.out.println("b=" + (1-0.7)); I get the right result which is "b=0.3". What's going wrong here? Thanks!
