  • How do I check for a css value using jQuery?

    After the user clicks on a table row, I want it to check if the table row's background-color is white, and if so, it will change the color to light blue. The code I am using is not working. Here it is: $("#tracker_table tr#master").click(function(){ if($(this).css("background-color") == "#FFFFFF") { $(this).css("background-color", "#C2DAEF"); } }); I think there is something wrong with my if statement.     Hey All, I am a little stuck and need some advice/help. And not necessarily for ProgressEvents, but when going through steps. That is, the listener functions are called and I get trace output like: updateDatabase called. Setting step:Updating project Setting Perc 25 Setting Perc 50 Setting Perc 75 Setting Perc 100 The issue is, only the very last percent and step is shown. that is, when it's all done, the progress bar jumps to 100% and shows the last step label.     Hi, I am using C# to write/read to an Access 2007 Database. The table is ID - AutoNumber [pkey] Fname - Text Lname - Text Address - Text The query string I Use is "Insert into TblMain (Fname,Lname,Address) Values ('"+fname+"','"+lname+"','"+adrs+"')" No errors are returned, the query executes but data is not added to the db. Inserting to table using which does not have an autonumber data column works perfectly. What am I missing?

    Hey there, I'm currently working on an app which displays a bunch of files in a table, and you can add and remove them and whatsoever. To prevent duplicates in the table, I'd like to create a NSDictionary using the files full path as keys for another NSDictionary which contains all the file information, but I am a little concerned about the maximum key length of NSDictionary, and also whether this solution would be performance killer or not... Once a cell is clicked, its unqiue value should be posted to the server. And I want to give a try to SVG! GUESTION: Can I achieve my goals 0-4 with current SVG support in browsers? Is coming SVG 2.0 for some help in this case? EDIT: Changed display:table to display:table-cell (and added new jsfiddle), because display:table made the field to loses focus when pressed arrow-up on first text row.

I want to select back the items that don't exist already, so I can create them. table tags +---------+-------+ | tagId | name | | 1 | C | | 2 | DX | | 3 | CG | Say SQL looks like: select name from tags where name in ( 'C', 'CG', 'RX' ) You get back 'C' and 'CG', so you know you have to create 'RX'. Is there a way to get a MySQL statement like this to return 'RX' instead, when 'RX' doesn't already exist?

  • Eclipse RCP and JFace: Problems with Images in Context menu and TreeViewer

    I'm working on an Eclipse RCP application. Today I experienced some troubles when displaying images in the context menu. What I wanted to do is to add a column to my table containing images of stars for representing a user rating. On Windows, this causes some problems, since the star images are squeezed up on the left corner of the table cell instead of expanding on the whole cell, but I'll solve that somehow. In addition I have a context menu on the table, with an entry called "rate" where again the different stars from 1 to 5 (representing the rating level) are shown, such that the user can click on it for choosing different ratings. That works fine on Windows. Now I switched to Linux (Ubuntu) to see how it works out there, and strangely, the stars in the table cell are layed out perfectly, while the stars on the context menu don't even show up.   • auto_increment in MySQL - can I omit it?

    I've noticed that PHPmyAdmin creates the following SQL for table creation: CREATE TABLE something ( ... ) auto_increment=1; When I write a database creation script I don't use the auto_increment bit. From reading related questions here I understand that it determines the starting value for auto_increment values. But it is good practice to reset it to 1, or should I just leave it out of the SQL so that the default is used?
