• Map works, but throws a popup error at load complainig about wrong api key

  Ok, I see a lot of people have this problem, but none answer I found either here or at stackoverflow. Problem: Map works super fine! But throws an error at load "This map needs a different api key... sign up at......" Already signed up, already got a key. On some forum post a guy told that in this case map loads twice, once with the wrong key, another with the right one. But Im sure my app loads it once and with the correct key. • Adding a row to a ListView that displays "Loading" while information is downloaded. Like in the Market.

  I've tried, but have had no luck trying to find this answer elsewhere. I want to add a row to the bottom of my listview that displays "Loading..." and maybe a spinning progress indicator. My program already loads additional information into the listview once the user scrolls to the bottom. But I want the user to be able to see that the program is indeed loading something. Example: If you go to the android marketplace and scroll to the bottom of one of the lists, the last row will say "Loading...". Then once the data is loaded, that bar is replaced with the first item of the new data. Sorry, it's a little hard to describe. I am NOT trying to add a footer to the bottom of the list view. I want it to be an actual item in the listview.

• Notepad++ Move Caret Outside Bracket

  I've searched everywhere and can't find an answer to something incredibly simple and useful for Notepad++. When using autoclose, the cursor gets stuck inside, which is good until I've finished typing the parameters. How do I get the caret to jump outside of the currently nested autoclosed element? Regardless of it being (), {}, [], "", '', ? CTRL+B does does something similar, but it goes to the inside of the left bracket first, and then to the outside of the right bracket, which is where I want to be. This only works for brackets though, not tags and qoutations Hitting CTRL+B twice is cumbersome and manually hitting "right arrow" requires too much hand motion while coding. And finally, is there anyway I can map this to "SHIFT+Space"?

  (I'm doing this in AS3, but I'm sure the answer could be given in psuedocode) Basically, I have a XML file similar to: <Main> <Event> <Name>Blah</Name> <Event> Name>Blah2</Name> <Event> <Name>Blah3</Name> ... </Event> </Event> </Event> </Main> Yeah, to some extent it's poor design. But the idea I'm going for is that any Event has the potential to compromise of other Events and this idea kinda loops. Any ideas on how to do this?

  I am working on building a Question Classification/Answering corpus as a part of my masters thesis. I'm looking at evaluating my expected answer type taxonomy with respect to inter-rater agreement/reliability, and I was wondering: Does anybody know of any decent (preferably free) Java API(s) that can do this? I'm reasonably certain all I need is Fleiss' Kappa and Krippendorff's Alpha at this point. Weka provides a kappa statistic in it's evaluation package, but I think it can only evaluate a classifier and I'm not at that stage yet (because I'm still building the data set and classes). Thanks.

• Ubuntu Wired network(ethernet does not work)

  It was working just fine, until the other day I yanked it out. The wireless works just fine on the same router. If I login to a windows 7 instance on this dual boot laptop then the ehternet works just fine. So it's not a hardware, cable or router issue. The card even gets an ip, but I can't connect to the internet. Here are the details from route, iptables, ifconfig, ping etc. Any ideas? • HTML/Javascript disabled and then reenabled checkbox is being POSTED

  I have a page with a checkbox that is disabled/reenabled with javascript on button click. If I never disable the checkbox then its value is correctly POSTed, however if I disable the checkbox even once it gets posted without value (posts as "name=" even when checked). I have inspected the POST value through firebug. Why does it behaves like this? Am I missing something? I ve read somewhere that disabled controls are not posted, thats OK, but this control is not disabled when the submit is clicked. I am using ASP.NET with more complex setup to test this, but essentially this is the core of the problem. The brower is FF latest. I found very similar question, however without an answer: disabled control being reenabled but still not posting back contents to server

• This should be real easy. How to find a button through its Value (Jquery Selector)

  I have this HTML: <div id='grid'> <input type="button" value="edit"/> <input type='button' value='update'/> </div> How to I attach a click event only to Update button. I know I could add a class to it or specity an id but both are not possible since it is in gridview. I tried this: $("input:button[@value='update']").click(function(){alert('test');}); but it displays an alert for both buttons. I know I must be doing something silly. Any help is much appreciated. • Inner shadow issue in Illustrator CS5

  I gave a comp to my client that I did in Photoshop. I used an inner shadow but now have realized the in Illustrator CS5 I have no such "easy" filter. I have spent 2 days seaching the web, trying tutorials, etc. to no avail. Every tutorial seems to use text but I am not using text. • Can I use GNU Screen completely transparently/automatically?

  Screen is amazing, of course, but I don't want to have to think about it. I often ssh to a machine, start doing a bunch of stuff, and then think "gosh, I wish I had thought to start a screen session before doing all that so I could reconnect to this from home later". I'd like to have screen automatically started whenever I log in to a machine. And when I get disconnected, I want to be able to immediately and simply reconnect without fussing with "screen -ls" and "screen -dr". I have a script that implements one solution to this problem which I'll post as an answer. I'm interested to see other approaches.

  Hello everyone, If the title was not clear, I will try to clarify what I am asking: Imagine I have a variable called counter, I know I can see its current value by doing something like: std::cout << counter << std::endl; However, assume I have lots of variables and I don't know which I'm going to want to look at until runtime. Does anyone know a way I can fetch the value of a variable by using its name, for example: std::cout << valueOf("counter") << std::endl; I feel being able to do this might make debugging large complex projects easier. • C++ DWORD* to BYTE*

  My issue, i am trying to convert and array of dynamic memory of type DWORD to a BYTE. Fair enough i can for loop through this and convert the DWORD into a BYTE per entry. But is their a faster way to do this? to take a pointer to DWORD data and convert the whole piece of data into a pointer to BYTE data? such as using a memcpy operation? I feel this is not possible, im not requesting an answer just an experienced opinion on my approach, as i have tried testing both approaches but seem to fail getting to a solution on my second solution. Thanks for any input, again no answers just a point in the right direction. Nor is this a homework question, i felt that had to be mentioned.

• How do I tell gdb how long my zero-length array is?

  Slightly oxymoronic title! Bonus points for Xcode answer but it's a gdb question. If I have a standard, statically sized array gdb will print all its elements [and Xcode will let me browse through it] but if I have a zero length array, it won't, because it doesn't know. Obviously I can print the array indexes one by one, but I'd like a dump of the whole thing. How do I tell gdb how much space I have allocated for the array to allow it to print the array (or to allow Xcode to view the array). Is it even possible?

• What is the best way to log a user in programatically in ExpressionEngine

  I'm building an app that allows the app to hit an ACT url which then triggers a module method to create a new entry using the ExpressionEngine API. However, as there is no user logged in / loggin in, it is not allowed to submit an entry to a channel. What is the best way to do this. Bypass the EE api and submit the entry manually, or log a user in progamatically..but then how would that work with sessions etc etc? If the answer is to "log a user in" it would be great to see a code sample if possible. Thanks!

  Hi, I have the following entities in CoreData: Village - villageID Bookmark - (relation) village There are multiple villages with each an unique villageID. I have a entity Bookmark which only has a relation to a Village entity; it isn't possible to make a reverse relation. Now I would like to get the village entities where there exists a Bookmark relation. I've red something about subqueries, but I can't get it right for this situation. It must be something like: Village.villageID IN (Bookmark.village.villageID) It isn't possible to get first all the Bookmarks and then loop to get all the Villages, because of the design of the framework. Can this be done in CoreData (I presume the answer is "Yes, of course!") and how?
