  • Custom warning in Xcode

    I'm working on an API library and I'd like to add a few warnings that would appear when another developers builds the app if an optional apikey is not included. It should be buildable w/o the key (since it's optional) so I can't just add a syntax error to force a build error. I know Xcode supports TODO and FIXME but those aren't really highlighted anywhere major. Any other thoughts on how to approach this?

  • How do I deploy .NET Framework 4 using Active Directory deployment?

    I know it's possible to deploy earlier versions of the .NET framework using AD deployment, for example: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc160717.aspx. How do it do this for .NET 4? I tried unpacking the standalone .NET 4 installer and deploying the netfx_Extended_x86.msi package. This didn't work. After a reboot the event log shows that it tried but it failed to install with a message saying to run setup.exe.

  • About Backward Compatibility of .NET Framework 4

    We have an WPF Application build on .net framework 3.5. Some testers find if they uninstall .net framework 3.5, but install .net framework 4.0, our APP fails to launch itself. Dose this mean that .net framework 4.0 does not include all 3.5 libs, and users have to install .net 3.5 even though they have 4.0? I see here are some migration issues listed by Microsoft http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee941656.aspx#windows_presentation_foundation_wpf Are they all breaking changes so that the backward compatibility is ruined?     I know I can get the time take to evaluate a function can be printed out on the screen/stdout using the time function/macro. The time macro returns the value of the evaluated function, which makes it great to use it inline. However I want to automatically measure the runtime under specific circumstances. is there a function which returns the elapsed time in some library to hep with this benchmarking?

I found something that looks like it should work using jQuery.. $("#myDiv a").attr('target', '_top'); but I dont want to use a library for this and I imagine a couple of lines of javaScript would take care of it...   • What DirectShow Interface to use for capturing to Stream instead of creating actual file?

    I've got a DirectShow project where I want to capture and stream to a webserver. I have seen how to capture and create a file, but I'm looking for ideas on how to capture into something like a MemoryStream to transport through a NetworkStream. I'm also using the library DirectShowLib for the ability to write in C# if that makes any difference. Of if there is a sample that I overlooked in the SDK I would greatly appreciate the direction.   • Ruby on Rails POST parameters on redirect_to

    I have to make a call to a different url in one of my controllers on my site. The problem is that with all the parameters the other site requires I'm overflowing the url. Is there anyway to call another url from the controller and send all of the parameters using a POST? I'm not expecting a response from the other site. Also, I think there's a way to do this using the Net::HTTP library thought I'm not sure how. Thanks

However, I'm having problem import numpy: Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.6/lib/python2.6/site-packages/numpy/core/multiarray.so: no matching architecture in universal wrapper Can anyone shed some light to this problem?
