• How to sort a key of a map

  How to sort (any kind of sorting) a key of a map(treemap or hashmap) i have a problem and it goes like this. i have a map that has a key of 27527-683, 27525-1179, 27525-1571, 27525-1813, 27525-4911, 27526-1303, 27526-3641, 27525-3989, 27525-4083, 27525-4670, 27526-4102, 27526-558, 27527-2411, 27527-4342 this is the list of keys and the value for each of the key is a list. now, how can i sort this key in ascending order by number. ex. if i want to sort : 1,2,11,20,31,3,10 i want to have as output is : 1,2,3,10,11,20,31 but when i use the autosort of treemap the output goes : 1,10,11,2,20,3,31 how can i sort it in ascending order by numeric? please help me. i can't think of anymore ways because this is my first time handling map and list

What is happening though is that when I move onto the language list, and I go past Germany (~50% down the list?), the hover() loses focus and closes the original menu, which closes the language menu. Any idea's what is causing the issue? Any ideas how to fix the issue? I have tried the hoverIntent() plugin as well to no avail.

• Displaying build times in Visual Studio?

  Our build server is taking too long to build one of our C++ projects. It uses Visual Studio 2008. Is there any way to get devenv.com to log the time taken to build each project in the solution, so that I know where to focus my efforts? Improved hardware is not an option in this case. I've tried setting the output verbosity (under Tools / Options / Projects and Solutions / Build and Run / MSBuild project build output verbosity). This doesn't seem to have any effect in the IDE. When running MSBuild from the command line (and, for Visual Studio 2008, it needs to be MSBuild v3.5), it displays the total time elapsed at the end, but not in the IDE. I really wanted a time-taken report for each project in the solution, so that I could figure out where the build process was taking its time. Alternatively, since we actually use NAnt to drive the build process (we use Jetbrains TeamCity), is there a way to get NAnt to tell me the time taken for each step?

  I'm writing a system where users can generate/run queries on demand based on the values of 4 dropdown lists. The lists are dynamically generated based on a number of factors, but at this point, I'm having problems validating the input using codeigniter's built in validation classes. I was hoping I could get some advice on the correct place to put things.

The issue is, it will block the dev server by asking for user input from the terminal. How can I pass it the '--noinput' option to prevent asking me anything? I have other ways of marking users as super-user, so there's no need for the user input, but I really need to call syncdb (and flush) programmatically, without logging on to the server via ssh. Any help is appreciated.

  Hi, if I have a input with new lines in it like: [INFO] xyz [INFO] How can I pull out the xyz part? I tried a pattern like /^\[INFO\]$(.*?)$\[INFO\]/ms, but perl gives me: Use of uninitialized value $\ in regexp compilation at scripts\t.pl line 6. I've been trying things to get interpolation to stop like using qr// but alas, no love. EDIT: The key is that the end-of-line anchor is a dollar sign but at times it may be necessary to intersperse the end-of-line anchor through the pattern. If the pattern is interpolating then you might get problems such as uninitialized $\. For instance an acceptable solution here is /^\[INFO\]\s*^(.*?)\s*^\[INFO\]/ms but that does not solve the crux of the first problem. I've changed the anchors to be ^ so there is no interpolation going on, and with this input I'm free to do that. But what about when I really do want to reference EOL with $ in my pattern? How do I get the regex to compile?

  I have an Java applications which I would like to run with different values of input parameters (specified in the command line). In "Run - Run Configurations" I have created different configurations corresponding to different values of the input arguments. I can run these configurations in the same way (throw "Run - Run Configurations"). But in these case I have to perform to many actions (clicks) to run a particular configuration. Is there a easier (faster) way to do that? For example I expect that I can do it throw "Run - Run as" but in the drop-dawn menu of the "Run as" I see "(Not Applicable)".

  I'm trying to setup my bin-debug folder so that the structure looks like this: bin-debug assets img swf main.swf css style.css js swfobject.js index.html I've tried setting the project's output folder to: bin-debug/assets/swf which does get my main.swf where I want it, but then my other source folders get dumped into that swf folder as well. What I would really like is to tell Flash Builder to put my swf into a nested folder and to be able to specify where my build folders' output goes as well. Is this at all possible without resorting to ANT scripts?

  I am learning about the Convolution Matrix, and I understand how they work, but I don't understand how to know before hand what the output of a Matrix will look like. For example lets say I want to add a blur to an image, I could guess 10,000+ different combinations of numbers before I get the correct one. I do know though that this formula will give me a blur effect, but I have no idea why. float[] sharpen = new float[] { 1/9f, 1/9f, 1/9f, 1/9f, 1/9f, 1/9f, 1/9f, 1/9f, 1/9f }; Can anyone either explain to me how this works or point me to some article, that explains this? I would like to know before hand what a possible output of the matrix will be without guessing. Basically I would like to know why do we put that number in the filed, and why not some other number?

  Is there a multipart POST library out there that achieve the same effect of doing a POST from a html form? for example - upload a file programmingly in Java versus upload the file using a html form. And on the server side, it just blindly expect the request from client side to be a multipart POST request and parse out the data as appropriate. Has anyone tried this? specifically, I am trying to see if I can simulate the following with Java The user creates a blob by submitting an HTML form that includes one or more file input fields. Your app sets blobstoreService.createUploadUrl() as the destination (action) of this form, passing the function a URL path of a handler in your app. When the user submits the form, the user's browser uploads the specified files directly to the Blobstore. The Blobstore rewrites the user's request and stores the uploaded file data, replacing the uploaded file data with one or more corresponding blob keys, then passes the rewritten request to the handler at the URL path you provided to blobstoreService.createUploadUrl(). This handler can do additional processing based on the blob key. Finally, the handler must return a headers-only, redirect response (301, 302, or 303), typically a browser redirect to another page indicating the status of the blob upload. Set blobstoreService.createUploadUrl as the form action, passing the application path to load when the POST of the form is completed. <body> <form action="<%= blobstoreService.createUploadUrl("/upload") %>" method="post" enctype="multipart/form-data"> <input type="file" name="myFile"> <input type="submit" value="Submit"> </form> </body> Note that this is how the upload form would look if it were created as a JSP.   Hello, I have a problem which draws my back in some project for some time now. Im basically looking to trap a polygon using x,y points drawn by some script ive written. lat1,lon1 are the center gps cords of the polygon and im looking for its surrounding polygon. here is a part of my code in python: def getcords(lat1,lon1,dr,bearing): lat2=asin(sin(lat1)*cos(dr)+cos(lat1)*sin(dr)*cos(bearing)) lon2=lon1+atan2(sin(bearing)*sin(dr)*cos(lat1),cos(dr)-sin(lat1)*sin(lat2)) return [lat2,lon2] my input goes like this: lat1,lon1 - are given in decimal degrees. -dr is the angular computed by dividing the distance in miles by the earth's -raiuds(=3958.82) -bearing between 0-360 degrees. however for the input getcorsds1(42.189275,-76.85823,0.5/3958.82,30) i get [-1.3485899508698462, -76.8576637627568], however [42.2516666666667,-76.8097222222222] is the right answer. as for the angular distance i calculate it simply by dividing the distance in miles by the earth's raiuds(=3958.82). anybody?

  On my client side I'm sending an ajax request with jQuery in the following matter: $.post(script.php, { "var1":"something", "var2":"[1,2,3]" }, function(data) { }, "json"); On the server side, in the CodeIgniter's controller I'm receiving the values like so: $var1 = trim($this->input->post('var1')); $var2 = trim($this->input->post('var2')); My question is how do I convert the string in $var2 into a PHP array. I tried using json_decode($var2, true) but it returns a null since "[1,2,3]" is not a legal JSON string by itself. Also, if you believe there is a better way for me to read the values on the server-side please show me how. Thank you.

• Alter the cruisecontrol log with XSLTLogPublisher

  We build our project from CruiseControl. We have a ant script running some exec commands, and the output of this is placed in the CDATA part of that message, and its priority is set to "info". Now I have created an XSL that modifies this priority depending on the CDATA output, so it creates a new logfile that I want CruiseControl to use. I tried to do this by using XSLTLogPublisher tag like this <xsltlogpublisher directory="${log.dir}" outfile="${logname}" xslfile="${transform}" /> But it doesn't seem to work. No error is logged from cruisecontrol no changes are done in the log file, might it be that cruisecontrol have problems transforming its own log, or are the publishers invoked after the actual log is published as a web page? Can anyone provide some sort of solution to my problem?

• HttpWebResponse get mixed up when used inside multiple threads

  In my Application I have a few threads who will get data from a web service. Basically I just open an URL and get an XML output. I have a few threads who do this continuously but with different URLs. Sometimes the results are mixed up. The XML output doesn't belong to the URL of a thread but to the URL of another thread. In each thread I create an instance of the class GetWebPage and call the method Get from this instance. The method is very simple and based mostly on code from the MSDN documentation. (See below.   I am working on expansion of my jQuery plug-in authoring knowledge, just playing around with my own ideas for learning benefits. So i was wondering how you guys tackle the need of plugin executing without any user specific input. So I have a need for plug-in that executes right away after document is ready, without any user's specific input just as long as doc is loaded, so the only way I see how to execute plug-in on it's own is to attach handler to ready listener that executes my function which I extended the jQuery with. And because this needs to be self enclosed, part of the code, I attach handler to event listener within the function. So how else could one tackle this? Any take at this is appreciated. • Python IPC, popen too slow

  i need to run a subprocess (./myProgram) form python script and get output, actually i do this: import subprocess proc = subprocess.Popen('./generate_out', shell=False, stdout=subprocess.PIPE, ) while proc.poll() is None: out = proc.stdout.readline() data = doStuff(out) print(data) but is slow, sometimes pass a lot of time between the output produced by ./generate_out and the print(data), knowing that my doStuff() function is very fast, i think there is some buffer slowing down my pipe... Notes: ./generate_out, generates potentially an unlimited number of lines of finite length each. It seems that when too few chars are put in the pipe between the two processes nothing happens, then when enough is produced i get a huge print (non the expected behaviour!) sometimes i wait many seconds (10-20 and more) between generate_out print and python print) what can i do? maybe communicate() is faster? anithing else?
