  • How do I generate a RouteLink to a route in a different area?

    I have two different areas, and I have a route in one of those areas that is specific to that area, but I need to generate a link to that route using Html.RouteLink from another area (it's how you get over into the new area) but it won't work... It doesn't seem possible to use RouteLink to routes in a different area. What is the best way around this? Should I just define a new route in the other area and name it differently?

    I am trying to play an video using ffmpeg. For this i referred ffmpeg-sample link wherein i can play my video successfully. Here the video is getting played as a bitmap image. Now i would like to play my video in mediaplayer by pressing a single play button with ffmpeg code. I googled this but i couldn't find an answer. Can u please help me in playing the video in player using ffmpeg (not using bitmaps).

  • Is there a way to have element behind a div (links) clickable in areas where the div is "transparent

    I have a block element that is positioned absolutely and some other elements on page that are positioned fixed. The effect is the block on top floats over the page which works well. The links in the elements at the bottom underneath are not clickable. They shouldn't be when the content of the div is over them, but when the "marginal" areas which are transparent are over the links they are visible, but clicks only register to the covering div. The problem only happens when the padding covers the div. But if I just rely on the margin the bottom margin is ignored by browser so the scroll doesn't go high enough up. To solve this I resort to padding at the bottom. This is the problem. Is there a clean way around this? I realize I could have the underneath elements doubled and place on top, but opacity set to 0. That is an undesirable solution however.     HI All. how can i get the frames of any video that i am fetching from the photo directory iphone .I checked out various links but they only provide any thumbnails or any particular TIME's frame image but i need the frames of full length video .And the respective audio too then is that possible that from the freames i got and the audio file i can create another video but will change the sequence of the frames only the audio file will be the same in the video.Is that feasible .?     Hello, I want to make some url rewrite rules on my .htaccess file so that this link: http://myseite.com/index.php?var1=value1&var2=value2 will become : http://myseite.com/var1/value2.html So far I have managed successfully to solve this problem but only for one variable. I also tried this code: RewriteRule ^([^/]*)/([^/]*)\.html$ /index.php?var1=$1&var2=$2 [L] But it doesn't work.. Thank you for the help!

  • codeigniter not being able to get the full param from url?

    Im having a weird issue that i cant seem to fix. It's dealing with viewing a company and adding a location to that company. when viewing a company, my url would look like this: domain.com/company/view/415 So clearly 415 is the ID of company, the company shows up correctly on my company view page. Now comes the weird part. when clicking on an "Add Location" link, which would take me to : domain.com/location/add/415 so once again this should be saying Location / Add / 415 (company ID 415) on this page, if i do it will echo 4 (instead of 415...the company id) if the company id is 754, the php echo $data['id'] would echo 7 (instead of 754). So its stripping the last 2 numbers off the Company ID.     I have a small app which has Users, Recipes, Ingredients and preparation models A user has many recipes, recipes belong to user and ingredients/preparation belongs to recipes. Now a user can view all recipes but I would like the option to add the particular recipe to a favourites list. Would I need to set a new DB to hold this and then link by associations or could I add a column to the recipe model called fav for example? Im looking for the best practice here or if someone has done this before and can offer any advice that would be appreciated
