  Hi everyone, I'm looking to find the Javascript Event I need to put into jQuery's .bind function in order to have the function triggered when a selection is made from a <select> element. At the moment I'm using .bind('change',function() { ...}) but I need the event to trigger when the selected option is chosen again. Any suggestions?

In pseudo-code: SELECT data FROM table Now would it be possible to select $_GET['percentage'] of random data from table?   I've used the SQL Profiler to generate a trace file, and tuning advisor to take that trace file and provide some recommendations on db updates. However, the SQL Profiler doesn't seem to track the queries when running against a Reporting Server, the profiler doesn't seem to be capturing any of the queries. I'm logging the defaults (SQL:BatchCompleted and Starting, RPC:completed, and Sessions - Existing Connections) What events should I be capturing in SQL Profiler in order to run the tuning advisor?

  I have a list containing version strings, such as things: versions_list = ["1.1.2", "1.0.0", "1.3.3", "1.0.12", "1.0.2"] I would like to sort it, so the result would be something like this: versions_list = ["1.0.0", "1.0.2", "1.0.12", "1.1.2", "1.3.3"] The order of precendece for the digits should obviously be from left to right, and it should be decending. So 1.2.3 comes before 2.2.3 and 2.2.2 comes before 2.2.3. How do I do this in Python?

In order to make function calls to our back-end php code we've implemented something called an ActionProxy like this: function ActionProxy(action, input, callback){ $.post("ActionProxy.php?method="+action, { data: input}, function(data, textStatus, XMLHttpRequest){ //return data.ResponseWhatever } }); The problem we're having is that using data outside the ActionProxy is impossible due to variable scope limitations (we assume), setting var res = data.ResponseWhatever or return data.ResponseWhatever is pretty futile. How would one handle these responses most appropriately so that functions calling the actionproxy can access the response values?

  Hi, In order to avoid freezing of GUI, I wanted to run method connecting to DB asynchronously. Therefore I have written this: DelegatLoginu dl = ConnectDB; IAsyncResult ar=dl.BeginInvoke(null, null); bool result = (bool)dl.EndInvoke(ar); But it is still freezing and I do not understand why - I though BeginInvoke assures that method it references is run in another thread.   Hi Everyone: I am attempting to call a function when any cell in a NSMatrix instance is selected. I am using the following code in order to accomplish this: [[cellArray objectAtIndex:0] setAction:@selector(testing:)]; [[cellArray objectAtIndex:1] setAction:@selector(testing:)]; However, when I toggle the selection of the two cells, the function isn't run.
