  • Updating the MSI for a Project in Visual Studio 2008.

    In reference to the post below, where it says I should increase the version number for older versions to be replaced by newer ones. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/40603/msi-installer-fails-without-removing-a-previous-install What I find is, just changing the version number didn't do the job. I had to change the product code also, which I got an option to change through a Message Box just after changing the Version Number. Is this how it's supposed to be?

    I'm trying to install the latest version of #Develop but am getting the message This setup requires the .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 to be installed I'm running Windows 7, and I've tried running the installer for .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 plus the installer for the Windows 7 SDK. The installer just says to use the Control Panel to turn Windows Features on and off to configure .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 Anyone got any suggestions ?

I need it to allow me to edit xsd files to help in writting an xml-based language specification. I need it to be visual to help with the design, making it clear.     Hi all, Two rows in the my database have the following data: brand | product | style ================================================= Doc Martens | Doc Martens 1460 Boots | NULL NewBalance | New Balance WR1062 SG Width | NULL Mininum word length is set to 3, and a FULLTEXT index is created across all the three columns above. When I run a search for IS BOOLEAN matches for +doc in the index, I get the first row returned as a result. When I search for +new, I get no results. Can someone explain why? Thanks.

    Did Spring abandon YAML to use as an alternative to .properties / .xml because of: [Spring Developer]: ...YAML was considered, but we thought that counting whitespace significant was a support nightmare in the making... [reference from spring forum] I am confident YAML makes a lot of sense for properties, and I am using it currently on the project, but have difficulties to inject properties in a <property name="productName" value="${client.product.name}" /> fashion. Do you rely on implicit Spring support or you define custom stereotype specific functions/aspects/features? Or is it predominately for marking beans (compile time, conceptual, etc.)?
