    Where can I get the 10k common English dictionary words which Stack overflow uses in related question? Here in SE podcast - http://blog.stackoverflow.com/2008/12/podcast-32/ One of our major performance optimizations for the “related questions” query is removing the top 10,000 most common English dictionary words (as determined by Google search) before submitting the query to the SQL Server 2008 full text engine. It’s shocking how little is left of most posts once you remove the top 10k English dictionary words. This helps limit and narrow the returned results, which makes the query dramatically faster.

(b) The number of documents with word 'w' outside time 't'. (c) The number of documents without word 'w' outside time 't'. (d) Each of the items above represents one of the cells of a chi-square contingency table for each word and time. Can all of these be calculated within a single loop or do they need to be done one at a time? Ideally, I would like the output to be what's below, where a,b,c,d are all the items calculated above: print "%s, %s, %s, %s" %(a,b,c,d)

    Hi, I'm trying to create an index representing the first letter value of each record in a Core Data store to be used in a table view controller. I'm using a snippet of the code from Apple's documentation. I would simply like to produce an array or dictionary of distinct values as the result. My store already has the character defined within each record object. Questions: 1) I'm having a problem understanding NSDictionaryResultType. Where does the resulting dictionary object get received so that I can assign it's keys to the view controller? The code seems to only return an array. 2) If I include the line containing NSDictionaryResultType, I get no returns. 3) I realize that I could do this in a loop, but I'm hoping this will work. Thanks!     I use the Faenza icon collection in Ubuntu 12.04 Unity with no issues. I decided to change my Gimp launcher icon, so I made my own (gimp-ak.png) and added it, and its appropriately sized derivatives, to the Faenza icon folders: /usr/share/icons/Faenza/apps/16/gimp-ak.png /usr/share/icons/Faenza/apps/22/gimp-ak.png /usr/share/icons/Faenza/apps/24/gimp-ak.png /usr/share/icons/Faenza/apps/32/gimp-ak.png /usr/share/icons/Faenza/apps/48/gimp-ak.png /usr/share/icons/Faenza/apps/64/gimp-ak.png /usr/share/icons/Faenza/apps/96/gimp-ak.png /usr/share/icons/Faenza/apps/scalable/gimp-ak.svg I then updated the Icon field in /usr/share/applications/gimp.desktop from "gimp" to "gimp-ak": [Desktop Entry] Version=1.0 Type=Application Name=GIMP Image Editor GenericName=Image Editor Comment=Create images and edit photographs Exec=gimp-2.6 %U TryExec=gimp-2.6 Icon=gimp-ak Terminal=false Categories=Graphics;2DGraphics;RasterGraphics;GTK; X-GNOME-Bugzilla-Bugzilla=GNOME X-GNOME-Bugzilla-Product=GIMP X-GNOME-Bugzilla-Component=General X-GNOME-Bugzilla-Version=2.6.12 X-GNOME-Bugzilla-OtherBinaries=gimp-2.6 StartupNotify=true MimeType=application/postscript;application/pdf;image/bmp;image/g3fax;image/gif;image/x-$ X-Ubuntu-Gettext-Domain=gimp20 After logging off (and even restarting), my custom icon does not show up - Gimp has the default gear icon: Setting the Icon field in gimp.desktop to any other icon in the Faenza collection works fine.     Hi. I wanted to know is C# array has a constant access speed? I need to store 1000 items in static array, that will be initialized during server startup. This array will be used readonly, so there will be no changes to array. Should I use a simple C# array (new MyClass[]) or Dictionary instead. I am really new to C# and trying to understand how C# arrays access works. Can they be compared to c++ arrays by speed?
