• WPF PropertyGrid - adding support for collections

  Hi, I am working on wpf propertygrid(PG) control and I want the PG to support collection type(IList, ObservableCollection etc.) properties. I am bit confused on how to keep track of selected item(of that collection) and pass that to client. Any ideas? If the solution makes use of the Open Source WPF PropertyGrid (http://www.codeplex.com/wpg) I will implement the changes /additions back into the control.

  I've seen some discussion on why c# does not implement multiple inheritance but very little as to why it isn't supported in vb. I understand that both c# and vb are compiled down to intermediary language and so they both need to share similar restrictions. The lack of multiple inheritance in VB seems to have been given as one reason for the lack of the feature in dot net. Does anyone know why VB doesn't support multiple inheritance? I'm hoping for a bit of history lesson and discussion on why this was never considered for VB.

  We are developing a project for a client that requires a rich text editor that supports both tables and "real" tabs for indentation. Of the editors we've looked at, both TinyMCE and FreeRichTextEditor are very close fits, but indenting with tab seems to only work in WebKit-based browsers. Is there a (preferably free) cross-browser compatible rich text editor that supports both of these features, or a way of 'fixing' tab support in Trident and Mozilla-based browsers?

  So Windows Embedded Compact 7 (another classic from the naming department) supports Silverlight for Windows Embedded. http://www.microsoft.com/windowsembedded/en-us/products/windowsce/compact7.mspx But this is a C++ only stripped down version of Silverlight 2 XAML. Does anybody know if Windows Embedded Compact 7 will support real Silverlight? This seems to be out of step with Windows Phone (which I think is based on Windows CE 6) and the fact that Windows Embedded Compact 7 supports Flash 10.1.

  Now I use my own Java FTP program to ftp objects from my PC to my ISP's website server. I want to use Google App Engine's servlet to get Paypal IPN messages, then store the messages into my own objects and ftp the objects to my ISP's website server, is this doable ?   Hi Guys, we need to evaluate a value in an object in run time while we have a textual statement of the exact member path for example: myobject.firstMember.secondMember[3].text we thought of parsing this textual statement using regex and then evaluate the text value by using reflection but before we do that i wonder if C# support some kind of eval ability? so we won't have to do the parsing ourself.
