  • qTip pop ups come in from top left of screen (on first load)

    Hi, not sure if i'm set things up incorrectly - I don't seem to see anyone else with this problem, but my qTip popups (all ajax loaded content) are loading quite erratically, in that they are often animating in from off screen before appearing in the correct position. Is there a simple solution to this which I may have missed? Thanks again for your help.   • Manually changing keyboard orientation for a view that's on top of a camera view

    I'm basically trying to reproduce the core functionality of the "At Once" app. I have a camera view and another view with a text view on it. I add both views to the window. All is well so far. [window addSubview:imagePicker.view]; [window addSubview:textViewController.view]; I understand that the UIImagePickerController does not support autorotation, so I handle it manually by watching UIDeviceOrientationDidChangeNotifications and applying the necessary transforms to the textViewController.view. Now, the problem here is the keyboard. If I do nothing, it just stays in portrait mode. I can get it to rotate by adding the following code to the notification handler. [[UIApplication sharedApplication] setStatusBarOrientation:interfaceOrientation]; [textView resignFirstResponder]; [textView becomeFirstResponder]; However, the following simple test produces weird behavior. Start the app in portrait mode. Rotate the device 90 degrees clockwise. Rotate the device 90 degrees counterclockwise (back to the initial position). Rotate the device 90 degrees clockwise. After step 4, instead of the landscape-mode keyboard, the portrait-style keyboard is shown, skewed to fit in the landscape keyboard frame. Perhaps my approach is wrong from the start. I was wondering if anyone has been able to reliably make the keyboard change its orientation in response to setStatusBarOrientation.

    I'm looking for a way to fix and/or abstract away a comma-separated values (CSV) list in a database field in order to reconstruct a usable relationship such that I can properly join the two tables below and query them using LINQ and its Join method. Following is a sample showing the Person table and CsvArticleIds field having a CSV value to represent a one-to-many association with Article records. TABLE [dbo].[Person] Id Name CsvArticleIds -- ---------- -------- 1 Joe "15,22" 5 Ed "22" 10 Arnie "8,15,22" ^^^(Of course a link table should have been created; nonetheless the relationship with articles is trapped inside that list of CSV values.) Elegant is nice too. not looking for efficiency because this is part of a one-time data migration task and can take as long as it wants to run.

I was thinking of implementing an AlertDialog but as I need more than 3 options it is not possible... I also thought of putting my ListView in a FrameLayout and have an view with a gone visibility that I would turn visible at the click and update the content but I don't know If it's a good idea.     I have the following HTML: <div></div> <table> <tr><td>Test</td></tr> </table> ...and the following CSS: div { /* nothing yet */ } table { margin: 0px; border-collapse: collapse; padding: 0px; } No matter what I do, there is still a gap between the table and the DIV. This occurs on Google Chrome 5.0.375.70 beta on Linux. (And it seems to occur on other Webkit-based browsers too.) How can I get rid of the space?

My problem is that it will ONLY draw the string in the upper-left portion of the form, roughly 260x260 starting at 0,0. It literally cuts off the text if it goes beyond. Why is this? Shouldn't it work for the entire form?

    Hi i have a gridview with information about documents: name, document type (policy, guidelines, forms, etc), category, etc. I want to sort the gridview alphabetically (name) and by document type, but always having the 'policy' above the other document types when document name is the same. How do I do that? eg If I do sort by DocumentName, DocumentType ('policy' maybe not be the first one in the list) but if I do sort by DocumentType , DocumentName (I would get for example all guidelines first in alphabetical order, then procedures, then policies, etc)

    I am reading a txt file for strings that represent intergers. the file is space delimited. I have created an array[10,2]. evertime the the strings 1~10 is found in the file I increment array[n,0] by 1. I also feed array[n,1] with numbers 1~10. ie txt file contents: 1/1/1 10/1/2001 1 1 10 2 2 3 1 5 10 word word 3 3 etc.. streamreader reads 1/1/1 and determines that is is not 1~10 streamreader reads 10/1/2001 and determines that it is not 1~10 streamreader reads 1 and ++array[0,0] streamreader reads 1 and ++array[0,0] streamreader reads 10 and ++array[9,0] etc.. the result will be: '1' was found 3 times '2' was found 2 times '3' was found 3 times '5' was found 1 time '10' was found 2 times My problem is that I need this array placed in order(sorted) by value of column 0 so that it would be: 1 3 2 10 5

  • Have a clickable button on top of a combobox in WPF

    I can get a button to appear and be clickable in the drop down list of a combo box, but I cannot get the selected combo box item (the drop list is closed) to have the button be clickable. It always skips the button click and just opens the drop down list. I basically want the Button_Click event handler that I setup to be called once it is clicked.   • Prism: How to render one view on top of another

    We have a Prism/WPF application and are using an expander to animate a menu. When the expander expands, the content is rendered behind the main region's content. The menu is in a different region than the content it is supposed to overlay (since the menu governs what items go into that region) which is why this is occurring. We have tried setting the Z-Index of the ContentControls to no avail.

    I was trying to run the following query UPDATE blog_post SET `thumbnail_present`=0, `thumbnail_size`=0, `thumbnail_data`='' WHERE `blog_post` NOT IN ( SELECT `blog_post` FROM blog_post ORDER BY `blog_post` DESC LIMIT 10) But Mysql doesn't allow 'LIMIT' in an 'IN' subquery. I think I can make a select to count the table rows and then make an ordered update limited by 'COUNT - 10', but I was wondering if there is a better way. Thanks in advance.
