  I want to write a custom ValidationAttribute that checks if the given value is unique or not. The problem is that in the edit screen, it is not guaranteed that the user actually changed the value, resulting in a false error. Is there a way to check in my attribute whether the value actually changed? Or can I trigger the attribute only when the value has changed? I'm getting the feeling this requirement maybe just doesn't belong in an attribute?

  Hi to all All my app is in landscape mode .In some point I switch to a screen with Tab Bar Controller , but it's been placed like in portrait mode.I subclassed the UITabBarController and override the method "shouldAutorotateToInterfaceOrientation" to return YES always but because the app is already in landscape , this method is not being called. does anyway have an answer to this? thanks Giald

• Android browser scaling?

  I'm trying to create a mobile website for android. When I set the width of the body to 480px (the width of the screen) the result is about 50% larger than what I expect. It seems that android is scaling what it draws and messing up all my layouts. Does anyone know how to disable this, or work around it? I'm already using this: <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, height=device-height, user-scalable=no, initial-scale=1.0, maximum-scale=1.0, minimum-scale=1.0" />

• SharePoint Error - Datasheet View refuses to show up!

  Hi, Recently the DataSheet view of my list refuses to dispaly. I tried numerouse times and with no luck. Other lists works just fine, except for this one. there is a Java error message on the left bottom corner of the screen that disapears in 2 seconds, then it renders the list in Standard view any time you try it. When we unref builder pointer does it destroys all the screens/widgets the builder had created? if( builder_ptr ) g_object_unref(G_OBJECT(builder_ptr)); Suppose we have created one screen using Glade/XML with some 2-3 top_level windows in it gtk_builder_add_from_file(builder_ptr, "Test.glade", &error ) and generated GtkBuilder pointer (as above) so after deleting this pointer does it deletes created Windows or do we need to manually delete these windows? If I create and use this camera, and set LEFT,TOP to 0 and WIDTH=256 and HEIGHT=240, anything I render to the screen will use these coordinates? So a box with a width and height of 1, if set to 0,0 will take up space from 0,0 to 1,1?

  I've been looking around on the dreamweaver interface, and I'm trying to get my design window as an external panel. Reason is, I have a dual monitor system, and I would like to have the main window (where you can have both code/split/design) on my main screen, but with the code selected, and a design view on my secondary monitor. I'm assuming this can't be done, although I have noticed you can have your code as an external panel (Code Inspector). Would like to hear your input. Thanks

• Applying a partial gaussian like blur to a background image

  I have and image which gets stretched to its full background, regardless of the monitor size. What i need to do is apply cross-browser blur above this image on only a portion of the left hand side. So it gives the appearance of a blur on the image. If i apply it to the image then when the screen resolution changes size so does the size of the blur. Any help would be great. Cheers

  Task: (all in code, not visual) create a canvas, place into it some labels and draw some lines, then cache it as byteArray. The problem is that if I cache an object that is already drawed on the screen, it works great, but if I cache a canvas, that have been created few lines earlier, this results white image. Is there any solution to cache a display object, that was created in code, but not intended to be displayed at all?
