  • Exchange Transport Service Started but not working

    Good day, Here is the problem : We are hosting a Microsoft Exchange Server. Everything working fine until recently, where the mail transport seems to go wrong. We almost have to restart the service every morning. The thing is that the transport service is started, but the mail are not delivered to the users and senders to our server get a delayed delivery notification. When we restart the service, all the mail is then delivered to the users and we're good to go for a day or two. Things I've noticed : The store service is growing to around 6 Gb of used RAM, and the w3wp.exe service is hanging around 700mb RAM. Is there a way to schedule a restart of the transport role every 4 hours or something while I'm solving the issue so I don't have to worry when I leave for the week-end? And most of all...does anyone have any idea on how to solve this issue? Thanks, Philippe

  • TableView Cells Use Whole Screen Height

    I read through this tutorial Appcelerator: Using JSON to Build a Twitter Client and attempted to create my own simple application to interact with a Jetty server I setup running some Spring code. I basically call a get http request that gives me a bunch of contacts in JSON format. I then populate several rows with my JSON data and try to build a TableView. All of that works, however, my tableView rows take up the whole screen. Each row is one screen. I can scroll up and down and see all my data, but I'm trying to figure out what's wrong in my styling that's making the cells use the whole screen. My CSS is not great, so any help is appreciated.   • Pure-FTPd linux upload problems - 500 Unknown command

    I'm running Centos with Kloxo CP and PureFTPd on VPS based on HyperVM. The problem - during the day, there are periods when FTP wors fine for hours, but sometimes it dies with "500 Unknown command" code. for files larger than 2Kb. This is really weird - with files less than 2472-2484 bytes everything would work fine, but with bigger files ftp would start writing file, would drop on 2Kb and would return "500 Unknown command" . This happens on Passive AND/OR Active connections for any filetypes. Logs are showing like the file was uploaded successfully , but the speed nearby the action would be 0.3 -0.5 Kb , when normal operation would report 70-150Kb/s speeds. I do have some Iptables firewalls on both HyperVM host,and VPS , however these are static, and most of the time it works just fine. Any suggestions on where to look for a solution would be appreciated :)

  • Scheme Formatting Help

    I've been working on a project for school that takes functions from a class file and turns them into object/classes. The assignment is all about object oriented programming in scheme. My problem however is that my code doesn't format right. The output it gives me whenever I give it a file to pass in wraps the methods of the class in a list, making it so that the class never really gets declared. I can't for the life of me figure out how to get the parenthesis wrapping the method list to remove. I would really appreciate any help.   • Trying To Uninstall Exchange 2007 From Server - Stuck On "Mailbox Role Checks"

    Hi All, I am trying to uninstall Exchange 2007 on a secodary server which has been decommissioned for quite a while (cleaning up after an old Network Admin). The only roll the server had was "Mailbox Role" (the primary server also has this). I have tried uninstalling using Programs and Features GUI tool but that hung on Mailbox Role Checks. I then tried uninstalling Exchange by running Setup.com /mode:uninstall. It has been stuck on 1% of "Mailbox Role Checks" for over 3 hours now. Is there any other options I have for uninstalling Exchange 2007 so the old server can be removed from the Exchange Management console?

(thousands of cache items, and there will so many subscriptions in SQL as well as issues with registration in ASP.Net) I want to use this in ASP.Net VirtualPathProvider's our custom implementation, so I can pass this CustomCacheDependecy to notify the asp.net that file content in the DB has changed.   • Avast Antivirus downloading data from net even when told not to update.

    Hi all, This is a strange problem that I have never seen before. I have two machines, both running Win 7 and running the latest version of Avast, both seem to be downloading large amounts of data. I noticed it when we were using more data for our monthly limit then normal, 2gb+ in a couple of days when really only browsing. I installed NetLimiter and let it run for couple of hours and this is the result for the avast! Service (c:\program files\alwil software\avast5\avastsvc.exe ). The other computer downloaded twice as much data in the same amount of time. Both installs of avast have their automatic updates (turned off at 4:00pm), for both program and definitions. Does anyone know what might be going on here.

  • Memory usages in Linux drops frequently

    I run a CentOS 5.6 (64bit) machine that has Nginx (latest version) running, with php-fpm (latest version). Things run very well, but since about 2 weeks I noticed in my Munin graphs that about every 2 hours the 'cache' usages drops. Before it used be a steady fully graph, that didn't seem to reset every so often. PHP-FPM settings: pm.max_children = 300 daemonize = yes pm = static listen = /tmp/fpm.sock pm.max_requests = 1000 I have checked the php-fpm.log, and about once per 5 seconds a child process is killed, and restarted. But this is all the time, so this does not explain the sudden drops. I only run Nginx, PHP (via fpm), Munin and vsftpd on this machine. No crons run at exactly the time of the drops. My question: What could be causing these drops in cache usage?

  • How to (hardware) RAID 10 on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS with 4 drives and motherboard with RAID contoller

    I have 4 500GB hard drives. I set up a RAID 10 in BIOS, much like shown here: http://www.supermicro.com/manuals/other/RAID_SATA_ESB2.pdf Then I followed these instructions: http://www.unrest.ca/Knowledge-Base/configuring-mdadm-raid10-for-ubuntu-910 Basically I cannot get it to work. I go through the instructions when I get to the "partition" section of the install, creating 4 RAID 1's (2 partitions on each drive, one for primary and one for swap space), then combining to make a RAID 10. Unfortunately it still shows 2 partitions, one 500 GB and another being 36GB for some reason. Any ideas? I think best would be if anyone had found good instructions (step by step) for how to do this...I've been googling for hours and haven't found anything...

    I have SQL Server 2008 R2 Enterprise installed on a local Windows 7 x64 workstation. When I create a database on the server, it unexpectedly has a 4GB size limit (Database properties in SQL Server Management Studio say size = 3934.38 MB, space available = 47.13 MB). Unfortunately the database needs more than 4GB, and Enterprise is not supposed to have a practical maximum size. I confirmed the database is on the Enterprise server: SELECT @@VERSIONMicrosoft SQL Server 2008 R2 (RTM) - 10.50.1600.1 (X64) Apr 2 2010 15:48:46 Copyright (c) Microsoft Corporation Enterprise Edition (64-bit) on Windows NT 6.1 <X64> (Build 7600: ) The database file is not set to restrict growth in SQL Server Management Studio, and there is plenty of hard drive space. The database was copied from SQL Express (which has a 4GB limit), but the same occurs with a fresh database creation. I've spent a couple of hours trying to figure this out and Google-searching, to no avail. Any ideas?

However, I am using form to determine search query on a database, so I need to either pass params to the redirected site or the result of a search. Or maybe there is some other good practice, how to solve this problem? Maybe in this situation I am allowed not to redirect (nothing happens, if user performs search again).

    I am trying to run a program with Boost MPI, but the thing is I don't have the .lib. So I try to create one by following the instruction at http://www.boost.org/doc/libs/1_43_0/doc/html/mpi/getting_started.html#mpi.config The instruction says "For many users using LAM/MPI, MPICH, or OpenMPI, configuration is almost automatic", I got myself OpenMPI in C:\, but I didn't do anything more with it. Do we need to do anything with it? Beside that, another statement from the instruction: "If you don't already have a file user-config.jam in your home directory, copy tools/build/v2/user-config.jam there." Well, I simply do what it says. I got myself "user-config.jam" in C:\boost_1_43_0 along with "using mpi ;" into the file.   • Windows 7 "Backup completed but some files were skipped"

    I set up Windows 7 Pro to backup my files to a network path (woohoo!) and chose to backup "data for newly created users, libraries", and my user folder (no system image). All went fine (although the first backup took ~12 hours for some ridiculous reason), but at the end it gave me a message that "Your backup completed, but some files were skipped. Click to see which files." I checked and the "files" skipped were my 3 network-mapped drives, which is perfectly fine and reasonable behavior (I certainly don't need it to back up my network-mapped drives as part of my local PC backup), but in the Backup and Restore center it warns me that my Last backup was "Never" and the Action Center now has a permanent "Check your backup results" issue. Is there any way to set up the backup to exclude the network-mapped drives or tell it that I really don't mind that it skipped drives I never asked it to back up?

  • Clarification on recaptcha

    Um so I was in for a little bit of a surprise tonight. I spent a good 20 mins trying to figure out why I was able to submit a form knowing that what I entered into the recaptcha field was invalid. Is it true that you don't need to input the exact words it displays? If it shows me two words and I misspelled one of the words, I still pass validation? Same goes if "hello world" and I input "hell man" it still works.

  • Find who's calling the method

    Hi, I'd like to somehow find out which CFC is calling my method. I have a logging CFC which is called by many different CFC's. On this logging CFC there's a need to store which CFC called for the log. Whilst I could simply pass the CFC name as an argument to my log.cfc, I find this to be a repetitive task, that might not be necessary, if I somehow could find out "who's" calling the method on log.cfc Is there any programmatic way of achieving this? Thanks in advance
