  • Server unstable after a WHM automated update

    I have a server with WHM/cPanel server a website (Apache, PHP, MySQL) and a few days ago WHM performed some kind of update on itself (there are new icons and new appearance overall). Ever since that day, my site has been running slow for shorts periods of time, but several times a day. That never happend before. Is there some common cause for this? Something that WHM does when it does an update? I'm really clueless about this problem.

I've checked all the default website bindings, the kerberos auth and WSMan are set to native type in powershell and I still get this error message. Connecting to remote server failed with the following error message: The WS-Management service does not support the request. It was running the command 'Discover-ExchangeServer -UseWIA $true -suppresserror $true'

I have followed the following steps but somehow can't see FrontPage 2002 Server Extensions checkbox under IIS details. click Add/Remove Windows Components Click on "Application Server" and click "Details" Click on "IIS" and then "Details" Why can't i see the option for 'FrontPage 2002 Server Extensions'?

  • Recommended method for routing www to zone apex (naked domain) using AWS Route 53

    In my AWS Route 53 control panel I simply have 2 A records currently set up for the 'www' and the 'non www' names. Both point to the Elastic IP address associated with my EC2 Instance. This works well and my website is available at both variations but I really want all 'www' to route to the 'non www'. What is the reccomened method, using AWS Route 53, for routing all traffic that comes to... www.example.com to example.com

  • Internet Explorer - selected language is changing to English when opening a new window

    When opening a new window in IE8 or IE9 (doesn't matter if using a link or window.open), my selected keyboard language is changing to English (doesn't matter what was the previous selection, tried it with a few different languages). This doesn't happen for me in Chrome or Firefox (all the browsers are installed in their English version), and I tested it in Windows 7 and Windows 2008R2. Is there any way to avoid that? If there isn't - supposing the new window is within my website or application, is there a way to change it back?

    How can i block a sub-site of a website as e.g. http://example.com/someSite unfortunately the hosts file is not an option since you can only block whole domains there and any "/" just destroys these rules. this is just for my personal protection against visiting some sites too often, while i still have to be able to get to the other sites of that domain (as e.g. example.com/someOtherSite) would be great if someone knows a solution regarding this topic

The requests will be coming in via https and I need to invisibly (preserving the https session) proxy domain.com/ over to domain.com:8080/. Does IIS have a built-in mechanism for doing this?     I recently downloaded a piece of software that came in a .ZIP archive, but the .EXE software inside of the archive had a password on it. The website that I would have gotten the password from closed a while ago. Because the executable is password protected it cannot be extracted. I'm on Windows 7 Home Premium, and I use winrar for my archives. So, I guess my question is is it possible to crack a password for a file within an archive without extracting it?

  • Is there an IE8 setting for "minimum font size" to display?

    When I look at our website in IE8 the text we have set to display smaller doesn't display smaller. But when I use BrowserShots.org it shows IE8 renderings with the smaller text appropriately smaller. So I'm thinking that there must be some setting in IE8 for "minimum font size to display". It's not the the TextSize (set to Medium) or Zoom setting (I set/reset zoom to 100%). It's something else. Any ideas?

I am using Centos with 512 MB Guarantee Memory and 1 GB burst Memory, I am running 3 wordpress sites from it, where all are having daily traffic of 30-100 visitors each, After every 2-3 days I need to restart my VPS because the resources are taking high usage of memory, I tried running top command and it shows Apache as high, But is it possible to check which website is taking load?     I have a D-Link home router and my isp is Time warner. When I try to login to any site it does not let me. The website does not keep me logged in when I navigate the pages. I have to keep loging in for every web page I see. When I connect my cable modem directly to my computer I am able to stay logged in. Any ideas here?

  • Help with restoring expired domain as quick as possible
