  • Format table header

    I have a table with slanted text in the header row, the only problem is that the text still makes the width of the columns way to large. Is there any way to squish together the table columns so that they are about the width of the select boxes? Or is there a way to place the text there without it in the header and maybe just use a <div> or <p>?     I am using Zend Framework and it works fine in Firefox/Safari. In IE I have a problem with images not loading. Say I have an image in my public folder and I have this in my page: <img src="/photos/category/img.jpg" /> Well that works, except when I'm at a URL with a controller like http://www.example.com/controller/action I can see why, but I want a good solution to properly creating these img src links that works across browsers.

  • Form gets submitted Multiple times

    While clicking inside the form , the form automatically tried to resubmit , I cannot figure out which part of the code causes it to behave like this . In the createTable function , a table is created after the domain is given . But I am unable to select any of the controls in the output .   • Problem in displaying image in FireFox

    Hello friends, I have a JSP page on which I have a div tag in which there is a a IMG tag. Using this IMG tag I want to show an image in it. Here the source path of an image is comes from database so I assigned a JSP variable using JSP scriplet. This JSP variable have the source path of an image. This path of image may be of different machine or of same machine i.e. images are stored on different machine or on same machine i.e. on local machine on different drive. The problem is that how to give path of image stored on different machine as well as on same machine. I have tried different ways like by giving ip address of that machine. Here is the path that of local machine where the image is stored img src= file:\localhost\D:\ScannedSheets\testproj/batch1/IMG001.jpg style="z-index:1; position:absolute; top:0; left:0; width:850; height:1099" With this syntax the image is visible in Internet Explorer but With the same syntax Its not visible in FireFox, Google Chrome etc. Please Guide me in friends. Also tell me that how to give path of the image stored on different machine which works In Internet Explorer, FireFox, Google chrome etc.

    Hi, I have made a leaderboard table on my site, which returns the users in the MySQL database with the highest scores (score is a separate field). The fields in the leaderboard table are 'rank' 'username' and 'score'. I would like to link each username in the table to it's own profile page. The profile pages are in the format /profile.php?user=$username. How would I go about adding an <a href> within the table (which is echoed in php): echo '<tr><td>' .$a. '</td><td><a href="profile.php?user=' .$row['username']. '">' .$row['username']. '</a></td><td>'.$row['count'].'</td></tr>'; I've tried the above, but it doesn't seem to work.   • Navigation Dropdown Text Color doesn't work in FF and IE

    Hello, I was able to get the navigation dropdown to show the letters in a different color from the background (white in this case) in Chrome browser. But when I view the same page in IE or FF, the whole background is just all green.     I am working on a menu navigation that has parent horizontal bar as static and a vertical accordion child menu that interacts with the parent. I have them working fine except one part where I want to toggle show() and hide() child menu when clicked on the same parent menu item. I've looked at toggle() jQuery API but couldn't get it working properly.   • Password verification; Is this way of doing it safe?

    I have a classifieds website, where everybody may put ads of their products. For each classified, the user has to enter a password (so that they can delete the classified whenever they wish). So basically, when somebody wants to delete a classified, they click on the classified, click on the delete button, and enter the pass. I use MySql as a database. I use this code basically: if ($pass==$row['poster_password']) where row[poster_password] is fetched from MySql... What do you think? Thanks

    I'm trying to use a dropdown in a PhoneGap app I'm writing. It uses a simple <select>: <select> <option value="1">First</option> <option value="2">Second</option> </select> This works fine on Android and the iPhone (including behaving like a native drop-down would on those systems). However, it doesn't appear to work on webOS (neither the Palm Pre itself nor the emulator). The <select> displays properly on the screen, but when I tap on it, nothing happens--I'm not able to make a selection from the dropdown. Why might this be?
