  • iPhone app store approval - coredata design change

    I created an app, uploaded to app store and approved by app store as well. Its ready for download. The app is based on coredata. Now I changed the design of the app to add new functionality. Changes include addition of new attributes to current entities, deletion of few entities etc. Now, if I upload the app to app store, does it approve or not? Do I have to put and Note saying that "Please uninstall old version and install new version?" Will my app be approved first of all or not.

    I'm trying to compile a binary file into a MACH_O object file so that it can be linked it into a dylib. The dylib is written in c/c++. On linux the following command is used: ld -r -b binary -o foo.o foo.bin I have tried various option on OSX but to no avail: ld -r foo.bin -o foo.o gives: ld: warning: -arch not specified ld: warning: ignoring file foo.bin, file was built for unsupported file format which is not the architecture being linked (x86_64) An empty .o file is created ld -arch x86_64 -r foo.bin -o foo.o ld: warning: ignoring file foo.bin, file was built for unsupported file format which is not the architecture being linked (x86_64) Again and empty .o file is created. Checking the files with nm gives: nm foo.o nm: no name list The binary file is actually, firmware that will be downloaded to an external device. Thanks for looking

There are different values for cardype like visa, mc, amex and discover All these values are in my strings.xml file and after retrieving the value I have to display it in Spinner.. I've snipped them, but there are Eval statements that wire up to the properties in the outer Repeater. Anyway, one of the fields in the inner Repeater needs to be a Bind instead of an Eval, as I want to get the values that the user types in. The SupplementAmount input element correctly receives it's value when the page loads, but on the other side, when I inspect the contents of the Costs List when the form posts back, the changes the user made aren't present.   • Strange behavior: save video recorded within app?

    I allow the user to record a video within my app, then later play it again. When a user records a video, I save the URL of the video, then play the video later from the saved URL. I save the video both in the Photos app and in my app. If I delete the video within the photos app, it still plays. After about 7 days, the video gets deleted. I think I am saving in my tmp directory, but i'm not sure.   • How do you compare music data

    i want to write an app to rename sort and organize my music library (mp3's, wav's, flac's). I wanted to take a portion of the song, say the first minutes, and compare that to a database and then retrieve the song name and tag information. I have heard that you can do this with last.fm but a look through their api info didn't help. My question is, what is this called so i can google it better? nothing i am trying is helping much. This would be similar to the shazam android app. My prefered language would be java, so i can run it on a few operating systems easier, but that might be subject to change depending on how i can do it.   • Parsing data from txt file in J2ME

    Basically I'm creating an indoor navigation system in J2ME. I've put the location details in a .txt file i.e. Locations names and their coordinates. Edges with respective start node and end node as well as the weight (length of the node). I put both details in the same file so users dont have to download multiple files to get their map working (it could become time consuming and seem complex). So what i did is to seperate the deferent details by typing out location Names and coordinates first, After that I seperated that section from the next section which is the edges by drawing a line with multiple underscores. Now the problem I'm having is parsing the different details into seperate arrays by setting up a command (while manually tokenizing the input stream) to check wether the the next token is an underscore. If it is, (in pseudocode terms), move to the next line in the stream, create a new array and fill it up with the next set of details. I found a some explanation/code HERE that does something similar but still parses into one array, although it manually tokenizes the input. Any ideas on what to do? But are there any concrete situations where using @Transient fields leads to implicit and hard fixing problems? For example, is it possible that adding/removing 2nd level cache will break our app when there are @Transient fields in our entities?
