  • Silverlight ViewBase in separate assembly - possible?

    - by Mark
I have all my views in a project inheriting from a ViewBase class that inherits from UserControl. In my XAML I reference it thus: <f:ViewBase x:Class="Forte.UI.Modules.Configure.Views.AddNewEmployeeView" xmlns:f="clr-namespace:Forte.UI.Modules.Configure.Views" xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation" xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml" It works fine. Now I have moved the ViewBase to another project (so I can refernce it from multiple projects) so I reference it like: <f:ViewBase x:Class="Forte.UI.Modules.Configure.Views.AddNewEmployeeView" xmlns:f="clr-namespace:Forte.UI.Modules.Common.Views;assembly=Forte.UI.Modules.Common" xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation" xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml" This works fine when I run from the IDE but when I run the same sln from MSBuild it gives a warning: "H:\dev\ExternalCopy\Code\UI\Modules\Configure\Forte.UI.Modules.Configure.csproj" (default target) (10:12) - (ValidateXaml target) - H:\dev\ExternalCopy\Code\UI\Modules\Configure\Views\AddNewEmployee\AddNewEmployeeView.xaml(1,2,1,2): warning : The tag 'ViewBase' does not exist in XML namespace 'clr-namespace:Forte.UI.Modules.Common.Views;assembly=Forte.UI.Modules.Common'. Then fails with: "H:\dev\ExternalCopy\Code\UI\Modules\Configure\Forte.UI.Modules.Configure.csproj" (default target) (10:12) - (ValidateXaml target) - C:\Program Files\MSBuild\Microsoft\Silverlight\v3.0\Microsoft.Silverlight.Common.targets(210,9): error MSB4018: The "ValidateXaml" task failed unexpectedly.\r C:\Program Files\MSBuild\Microsoft\Silverlight\v3.0\Microsoft.Silverlight.Common.targets(210,9): er ror MSB4018: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.\r C:\Program Files\MSBuild\Microsoft\Silverlight\v3.0\Microsoft.Silverlight.Common.targets(210,9): er ror MSB4018: at MS.MarkupCompiler.ValidationPass.ValidateXaml(String fileName, Assembly[] assemb lies, Assembly callingAssembly, TaskLoggingHelper log, Boolean shouldThrow)\r C:\Program Files\MSBuild\Microsoft\Silverlight\v3.0\Microsoft.Silverlight.Common.targets(210,9): er ror MSB4018: at Microsoft.Silverlight.Build.Tasks.ValidateXaml.XamlValidator.Execute()\r C:\Program Files\MSBuild\Microsoft\Silverlight\v3.0\Microsoft.Silverlight.Common.targets(210,9): er ror MSB4018: at Microsoft.Silverlight.Build.Tasks.ValidateXaml.XamlValidator.Execute()\r C:\Program Files\MSBuild\Microsoft\Silverlight\v3.0\Microsoft.Silverlight.Common.targets(210,9): er ror MSB4018: at Microsoft.Silverlight.Build.Tasks.ValidateXaml.Execute()\r C:\Program Files\MSBuild\Microsoft\Silverlight\v3.0\Microsoft.Silverlight.Common.targets(210,9): er ror MSB4018: at Microsoft.Build.BuildEngine.TaskEngine.ExecuteInstantiatedTask(EngineProxy engin eProxy, ItemBucket bucket, TaskExecutionMode howToExecuteTask, ITask task, Boolean& taskResult) Any ideas what might be causing this behaviour? Using Silverlight 3 Here is a cut down version of the MSBuild file that fails to build the sln that builds fine in the IDE (sorry couldn't get it to format here): <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?> <Project xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/developer/msbuild/2003" DefaultTargets="Compile"> <ItemGroup> <ProjectToBuild Include="..\UI\Forte.UI.sln"> <Properties>Configuration=Debug</Properties> </ProjectToBuild> </ItemGroup> <Target Name="Compile"> <MSBuild Projects="@(ProjectToBuild)"></MSBuild> </Target> </Project> Thanks for any help!

  • Oracle 9i Session Disconnections

    - by mlaverd
[Cross-Posting from ServerFault] I am in a development environment, and our test Oracle 9i server has been misbehaving for a few days now. What happens is that we have our JDBC connections disconnecting after a few successful connections. We got this box set up by our IT department and handed over to. It is 'our problem', so options like 'ask you DBA' isn't going to help me. :( Our server is set up with 3 plain databases (one is the main dev db, the other is the 'experimental' dev db). We use the Oracle 10 ojdbc14.jar thin JDBC driver (because of some bug in the version 9 of the driver). We're using Hibernate to talk to the DB. The only thing that I can see that changed is that we now have more users connecting to the server. Instead of one developer, we now have 3. With the Hibernate connection pools, I'm thinking that maybe we're hitting some limit? Anyone has any idea what's going on? Here's the stack trace on the client: Caused by: org.hibernate.exception.GenericJDBCException: could not execute query at org.hibernate.exception.SQLStateConverter.handledNonSpecificException(SQLStateConverter.java:126) [hibernate3.jar:na] at org.hibernate.exception.SQLStateConverter.convert(SQLStateConverter.java:114) [hibernate3.jar:na] at org.hibernate.exception.JDBCExceptionHelper.convert(JDBCExceptionHelper.java:66) [hibernate3.jar:na] at org.hibernate.loader.Loader.doList(Loader.java:2235) [hibernate3.jar:na] at org.hibernate.loader.Loader.listIgnoreQueryCache(Loader.java:2129) [hibernate3.jar:na] at org.hibernate.loader.Loader.list(Loader.java:2124) [hibernate3.jar:na] at org.hibernate.loader.hql.QueryLoader.list(QueryLoader.java:401) [hibernate3.jar:na] at org.hibernate.hql.ast.QueryTranslatorImpl.list(QueryTranslatorImpl.java:363) [hibernate3.jar:na] at org.hibernate.engine.query.HQLQueryPlan.performList(HQLQueryPlan.java:196) [hibernate3.jar:na] at org.hibernate.impl.SessionImpl.list(SessionImpl.java:1149) [hibernate3.jar:na] at org.hibernate.impl.QueryImpl.list(QueryImpl.java:102) [hibernate3.jar:na] ... • Compass - Lucene Full text search. Structure and Best Practice.

    - by Rob
Hi, I have played about with the tutorial and Compass itself for a bit now. I have just started to ramp up the use of it and have found that the performance slows drastically. I am certain that this is due to my mappings and the relationships that I have between entities and was looking for suggestions about how this should be best done. Also as a side question I wanted to know if a variable is in an @searchableComponent but is not defined as @searchable when the component object is pulled out of Compass results will you be able to access that variable? I have 3 main classes that I want to search on - Provider, Location and Activity. They are all inter-related - a Provider can have many locations and activites and has an address; A Location has 1 provider, many activities and an address; An activity has 1 provider and many locations. I have a join table between activity and Location called ActivityLocation that can later provider additional information about the relationship. My classes are mapped to compass as shown below for provider location activity and address. This works but gives a huge index and searches on it are comparatively slow, any advice would be great. Cheers, Rob @Searchable public class AbstractActivity extends LightEntity implements Serializable { /** * Serialisation ID */ private static final long serialVersionUID = 3445339493203407152L; @SearchableId (name="actID") private Integer activityId =-1; • How do I use .htaccess RewriteRule to change underscores to dashes

    - by soopadoubled
I'm working on a site, and its CMS used to save new page urls using the underscore character as a word seperator. Despite the fact that Google now treats underscore as a word seperator, the SEO powers that be are demanding the site use dashes instead. This is very easy to do within the CMS, and I can of course change all existing URLs saved in the MySQL database that serves the CMS. My problem lies in writing a .htaccess rule that will 301 old style underscore seperated links to the new style hyphenated verstion. I had success using the answers to this Stack Overflow question on other sites, using: RewriteRule ^([^_]*)_([^_]*_.*) $1-$2 [N] RewriteRule ^([^_]*)_([^_]*)$ /$1-$2 [L,R=301] However this CMS site uses a lot of existing rules to produce clean URLs, and I can't get this working in conjunction with the existing rule set. .htaccess currently looks like this: Options FollowSymLinks # RewriteOptions MaxRedirects=50 RewriteEngine On RewriteBase / RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^www\.mydomain\.co\.uk$ [NC] RewriteRule (.*) http://www.mydomain.co.uk/$1 [R=301,L] #trailing slash enforcement RewriteBase / RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !# RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !(.*)/$ RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.mydomain.co.uk/$1/ [L,R=301] RewriteRule ^test/([0-9]+)(/)?$ test_htaccess.php?year=$1 [nc] RewriteRule ^index(/)?$ index.php RewriteRule ^department/([^/]*)/([^/]*)/([^/]*)(/)?$ ecom/index.php?action=ecom.details&mode=$1&$2=$3 [nc] RewriteRule ^department/([^/]*)(/)?$ ecom/index.php?action=ecom.details&mode=$1 [nc] RewriteRule ^product/([^/]*)/([^/]*)/([^/]*)(/)?$ ecom/index.php?action=ecom.pdetails&mode=$1&$2=$3 [nc] RewriteRule ^product/([^/]*)(/)?$ ecom/index.php?action=ecom.pdetails&mode=$1 [nc] RewriteRule ^content/([^/]*)(/)?$ ecom/index.php?action=ecom.cdetails&mode=$1 [nc] RewriteRule ([^/]*)/action/([^/]*)/([^/]*)/([^/]*)/([^/]*)(/)?$ $1/index.php?action=$2&mode=$3&$4=$5 [nc] RewriteRule ([^/]*)/action/([^/]*)/([^/]*)(/)?$ $1/index.php?action=$2&mode=$3 [nc] RewriteRule ([^/]*)/action/([^/]*)(/)?$ $1/index.php?action=$2 [nc] RewriteRule ^eaction/([^/]*)/([^/]*)/([^/]*)/([^/]*)(/)?$ ecom/index.php?action=$1&mode=$2&$3=$4 [nc] RewriteRule ^eaction/([^/]*)/([^/]*)(/)?$ ecom/index.php?action=$1&mode=$2 [nc] RewriteRule ^action/([^/]*)/([^/]*)(/)?$ index.php?action=$1&mode=$2 [nc] RewriteRule ^sid/([^/]*)(/)?$ index.php?sid=$1 [nc] ## Error Handling ## #RewriteRule ^error/([^/]*)(/)?$ index.php?action=error&mode=$1 [nc] # ----------------------------------- Content Section ------------------------------ # #RewriteRule ^([^/]*)(/)?$ index.php?action=cms&mode=$1 [nc] RewriteRule ^accessibility(/)?$ index.php?action=cms&mode=accessibility RewriteRule ^terms(/)?$ index.php?action=cms&mode=conditions RewriteRule ^privacy(/)?$ index.php?action=cms&mode=privacy RewriteRule ^memberpoints(/)?$ index.php?action=cms&mode=member_points RewriteRule ^contactus(/)?$ index.php?action=contactus RewriteRule ^sitemap(/)?$ index.php?action=sitemap ErrorDocument 404 /index.php?action=error&mode=content ExpiresDefault "access plus 3 days" All page URLS are in one of the 3 following formats: http://www.mydomain.com/department/some_page_address/ http://www.mydomain.com/product/some_page_address/ http://www.mydomain.com/content/some_page_address/ I'm sure I am missing something obvious, but at this level my regex and mod_rewrite skills clearly aren't up to par. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

  • MVVM: how to set the datacontext of a user control

    - by EVA
Hi, I'm writing an application in WPF, using the MVVm toolkit and have problems with hooking up the viewmodel and view. The model is created with ado.net entity framework. The viewmodel: public class CustomerViewModel { private Models.Customer customer; //constructor private ObservableCollection<Models.Customer> _customer = new ObservableCollection<Models.Customer>(); public ObservableCollection<Models.Customer> AllCustomers { get { return _customer; } } private Models.Customer _selectedItem; public Models.Customer SelectedItem { get { return _selectedItem; } } public void LoadCustomers() { List<Models.Customer> list = DataAccessLayer.getcustomers(); foreach (Models.Customer customer in list) { this._customer.Add(customer); } } } And the view (no code behind at the moment): <UserControl x:Class="Customers.Customer" xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation" xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml" xmlns:mc="http://schemas.openxmlformats.org/markup-compatibility/2006" xmlns:d="http://schemas.microsoft.com/expression/blend/2008" mc:Ignorable="d" xmlns:vm ="clr-namespace:Customers.ViewModels" d:DesignHeight="300" d:DesignWidth="300" xmlns:toolkit="http://schemas.microsoft.com/wpf/2008/toolkit" > <Grid> <toolkit:DataGrid ItemsSource="{Binding AllCustomers}" SelectedItem="{Binding SelectedItem, Mode=TwoWay}" AutoGenerateColumns="True"> </toolkit:DataGrid> <toolkit:DataGrid ItemsSource="{Binding SelectedItem.Orders}"> </toolkit:DataGrid> </Grid> </UserControl> And dataaccesslayer class: class DataAccessLayer { public List<Customer> customers = new List<Customer>(); public static List<Customer> getcustomers() { entities db = new entities(); var customers = from c in db.Customer.Include("Orders") select c; return customers.ToList(); } } The problem is that no data is displayed simply because the data context is not set. I tried to do it in a code-behind but is did not work. I would prefer to do it in a xaml file anyway. Another problem is with the SelectedItem binding - the code is never used. Thanks for help! Regards, EV.

  • Firefox logs invalid URL?

    - by thanks for help
I'm writing an extension for firefox. Using dom.location to keep track of visited search results pages, i'm getting this url http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&source=hp&q=hi&aq=f&aqi=&oq=&fp=642c18fb4411ca2e . If you click it, the google search results for "hi" should come up. You'll know that from the title bar - because the rest of the page won't load. This happens with any google search. Oddly enough, if you cut part of it off, so say, http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&source=hp&q=hi - it works! But Googling "hi" myself does give me a longish URL - http://www.google.com/#hl=en&source=hp&q=hi&aq=f&aqi=&oq=&fp=db658cc5049dc510 . I know for a fact that the first time that URL was visited, the page loaded, I did it myself. Can anyone make reason out of this? I just tried my experiment again, this time saving the original URL in the location bar. It turns out, dom.location.href is giving a different value. How is this happening? Original: http://www.google.com/#hl=en&source=hp&q=hi&aq=f&aqi=&oq=&fp=642c18fb4411ca2e dom.location.href http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&source=hp&q=hi&aq=f&aqi=&oq=&fp=642c18fb4411ca2e window.addEventListener("load", function() { myExtension.init(); }, false); var myExtension = { init: function() { var appcontent = document.getElementById("appcontent"); // browser if(appcontent) appcontent.addEventListener("DOMContentLoaded", myExtension.onPageLoad, true); var messagepane = document.getElementById("messagepane"); // mail if(messagepane) messagepane.addEventListener("load", function () { myExtension.onPageLoad(); }, true); }, onPageLoad: function(aEvent) { var doc = aEvent.originalTarget; // doc is document that triggered "onload" event // do something with the loaded page. // doc.location is a Location object (see below for a link). // You can use it to make your code executed on certain pages only. var url = doc.location.href; if (url.match(/(?:p|q)(?:=)([^%]*)/)) {alert("MATCH" + url);resultsPages.push(url);} else {alert(url); } } This snippet comes directly from Mozilla with the matching and alerts my own. I apologize for not posting the code earlier.

  • XSLT Document function returns empty result on Maven POM

    - by user328618
Greetings! I want to extract some properties from different Maven POMs in a XSLT via the document function. The script itself works fine but the document function returns an empty result for the POM as long as I have the xmlns="http://maven.apache.org/POM/4.0.0" in the project tag. If I remove it, everything works fine. Any idea how the make this work while leaving the xmlns attribute where it belongs or why this doesn't work with the attribute in place? Here comes the relevant portion of my XSLT: <xsl:template match="abcs"> <xsl:variable name="artifactCoordinate" select="abc"/> <xsl:choose> <xsl:when test="document(concat($artifactCoordinate,'-pom.xml'))"> <abc> <ID><xsl:value-of select="$artifactCoordinate"/></ID> <xsl:copy-of select="document(concat($artifactCoordinate,'-pom.xml'))/project/properties"/> </abc> </xsl:when> <xsl:otherwise> <xsl:message terminate="yes"> Transformation failed: POM "<xsl:value-of select="concat($artifactCoordinate,'-pom.xml')"/>" doesn't exist. </xsl:message> </xsl:otherwise> </xsl:choose> And, for completeness, a POM extract with the "bad" attribute: <project xmlns="http://maven.apache.org/POM/4.0.0" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:schemaLocation="http://maven.apache.org/POM/4.0.0 http://maven.apache.org/maven-v4_0_0.xsd"> <modelVersion>4.0.0</modelVersion> <!-- ... --> <properties> <proalpha.version>[5.2a]</proalpha.version> <proalpha.openedge.version>[10.1B]</proalpha.openedge.version> <proalpha.optimierer.version>[1.1]</proalpha.optimierer.version> <proalpha.sonic.version>[7.6.1]</proalpha.sonic.version> </properties> </project>

    I'm using a PHP script to read an RSS feed in my Flex 4 app. The script works when I put the url of the feed in the actual script, but I can't get it to work when I try to send the URL as a parameter from a HTTPService in Flex. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Here is the HTTPService from Flex 4 that I'm using: <mx:HTTPService url="http://talk.6te.net/proxy.php" id="proxyService" method="POST" result="rssResult()" fault="rssFault()"> <mx:request> <url> http://feeds.feedburner.com/nah_right </url> </mx:request> </mx:HTTPService> This is the script that works: <?php $ch = curl_init(); $timeout = 30; $userAgent = $_SERVER['HTTP_USER_AGENT']; curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_URL, "http://feeds.feedburner.com/nah_right"); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_RETURNTRANSFER, 1); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_CONNECTTIMEOUT, $timeout); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_USERAGENT, $userAgent); $response = curl_exec($ch); if (curl_errno($ch)) { echo curl_error($ch); } else { curl_close($ch); echo $response; } ?> But this is what I actually want to use, but it doesn't work: <?php $ch = curl_init(); $timeout = 30; $userAgent = $_SERVER['HTTP_USER_AGENT']; curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_URL, $_REQUEST['url']); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_RETURNTRANSFER, 1); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_CONNECTTIMEOUT, $timeout); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_USERAGENT, $userAgent); $response = curl_exec($ch); if (curl_errno($ch)) { echo curl_error($ch); } else { curl_close($ch); echo $response; } ?> Here is the request and response output of the HTTPService from the network monitor in Flash Builder 4 (using the PHP script that doesn't work): Request: POST /proxy.php HTTP/1.1 Host: talk.6te.net User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; en-US; rv:1.9.2.3) Gecko/20100401 Firefox/3.6.3 Accept: text/html,application/xhtml+xml,application/xml;q=0.9,*/*;q=0.8 Accept-Language: en-us,en;q=0.5 Accept-Encoding: gzip,deflate Accept-Charset: ISO-8859-1,utf-8;q=0.7,*;q=0.7 Keep-Alive: 115 Content-type: application/x-www-form-urlencoded Content-length: 97 url=%0A%09%09%09%09%09http%3A%2F%2Ffeeds%2Efeedburner%2Ecom%2Fnah%5Fright%0A%20%20%20%20%09%09%09 Response: HTTP/1.1 200 OK Date: Mon, 10 May 2010 03:23:27 GMT Server: Apache X-Powered-By: PHP/5.2.13 Content-Length: 15 Content-Type: text/html <url> malformed I've tried putting the URL in " " in the HTTPService, but that didn't do anything.   • Linq to XML Read and output XML generated from lookup list

    - by Greg S
    I am trying to use XML created from a lookup list in SharePoint as a datasource for a treeview. It is in the form of : <NewDataSet> <test_data> <ID>1</ID> <Title>MenuItem_1</Title> <child_of /> </test_data> <test_data> <ID>2</ID> <Title>Subitem_1</Title> <Action>http://www.google.com</Action> <child_of>MenuItem_1</child_of> </test_data> <test_data> <ID>3</ID> <Title>Subitem_2</Title> <Action>http://www.google.com</Action> <child_of>MenuItem_1</child_of> </test_data> <test_data> <ID>4</ID> <Title>MenuItem_2</Title> <child_of /> </test_data> <test_data> <ID>5</ID> <Title>Subitem_2_1</Title> <Action>http://www.google.com</Action> <child_of>MenuItem_2</child_of> </test_data> <test_data> <ID>6</ID> <Title>Subitem_2_2</Title> <Action>http://www.google.com</Action> <child_of>MenuItem_2</child_of> </test_data> <test_data> <ID>7</ID> <Title>Subitem_2_2_1</Title> <Action>http://www.google.com</Action> <child_of>Subitem_2_2</child_of> </test_data> </NewDataSet> There may be N tiers, but the items relate to the parent via the <child_of> element. I can't seem to figure out how to write the LINQ in C# to nest the menu items properly. A friend recommended I post here. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Hello stackoverflow ! Here is my problem : i try to run a maven nexus behind an apache reverse proxy. As i have multiples war in my jetty, i want the nexus to run here : http://localhost:8080/nexus I made a jetty context file as follow : {jetty.home}/contexts/nexus.xml <?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?> <!DOCTYPE Configure PUBLIC "-//Jetty//Configure//EN" "http://www.eclipse.org/jetty/configure.dtd"> <Configure class="org.eclipse.jetty.webapp.WebAppContext"> <Set name="contextPath">/nexus</Set> <Set name="war"><SystemProperty name="jetty.home" default="."/>/webapps/nexus.war</Set> </Configure> My jetty connector in jetty.xml is as follow : <Call name="addConnector"> <Arg> <New class="org.eclipse.jetty.server.nio.SelectChannelConnector"> <Set name="host"><Property name="jetty.host" /></Set> <Set name="port"><Property name="jetty.port" default="8080"/></Set> <Set name="maxIdleTime">300000</Set> <Set name="Acceptors">2</Set> <Set name="forwarded">true</Set> <Set name="statsOn">false</Set> <Set name="confidentialPort">8443</Set> <Set name="lowResourcesConnections">20000</Set> <Set name="lowResourcesMaxIdleTime">5000</Set> </New> </Arg> </Call> I want http://maven.foo.com/ as an end point for the nexus, so i made this apache2 configuration file : ProxyRequests Off ProxyVia Off ProxyPreserveHost On <Proxy *> AddDefaultCharset off Order deny,allow Allow from all </Proxy> <VirtualHost *:80> ServerName maven.foo.com ProxyPass / http://localhost:8080/nexus/ ProxyPassReverse / http://localhost:8080/nexus/ ErrorLog ${APACHE_LOG_DIR}/error_nexus.log </VirtualHost> But i can't manage to make it work. The error message displayed in the browser is "The server has not found anything matching the request URI". I tried to read docs on jetty and apache web site, but didn't find information for mapping a subdomain "sub.foo.com" to a context "localhost:8080/sub" ... Any help welcome ! Thanks

  • Index out of bounds error

    - by sprasad12
Hello, I am working on a program where i am recreating the saved widgets back on to the boundary panel. When i am creating them i am also trying to put the values into the ArrayList so that if i want to update and save the opened project i should be able to do so by getting the values from the ArrayList. Here is how the code looks like: for(int i = 0; i < result.length; i++){ if(ename.contains(result[i].getParticipateEntityName())){ ername.add(ename.indexOf(result[i].getParticipateEntityName()), result[i].getParticipateRelatioshipName()); etotalpartial.add(ename.indexOf(result[i].getParticipateEntityName()), result[i].getTotalPartial()); }else if(wename.contains(result[i].getParticipateEntityName())){ wrname.add(wename.indexOf(result[i].getParticipateEntityName()), result[i].getParticipateRelatioshipName()); } } Here ename, ername, etotalpartial, wename and wrname are all ArrayList. This piece of code is included in an asynchronous class method. When i run the code i get error at "ername.add(ename......". • Incorrect XML produced by SUDS

    - by Ben
Hi, I am trying to talk to a SOAP web service using SUDS and Python. After lots of messing around learning Python (yes I am new to this) and working out how to use SUDS I have come across a problem. The signature of the web method I am calling, according to suds, is (FWTCaseCreate){ ClassificationEventCode = None Priority = None Title = None Description = None Queue = None DueDate = None AssociatedObject = (FWTObjectBriefDetails){ ObjectID = (FWTObjectID){ ObjectType = None ObjectReference[] = <empty> } ObjectDescription = None Details = None Category = None } Form = (FWTCaseForm){ FormField[] = <empty> FormName = None FormKey = None } Internal = None InteractionID = None XCoord = None YCoord = None } So I use SUDS to create the classes that I want and send it to the method. However I get an error. So I turned logging on and I can see that the XML that is being sent is not correct which is causing a deserialize error. The SOAP package looks like the following <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <SOAP-ENV:Envelope xmlns:ns0="http://www.lagan.com/wsdl/FLTypes" xmlns:ns1="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:wsse="http://docs.oasis-open.org/wss/2004/01/oasis-200401-wss-wssecurity-secext-1.0.xsd" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"> <SOAP-ENV:Header> <wsse:Security> <wsse:BinarySecurityToken>eaadf1ddff99a8</wsse:BinarySecurityToken> </wsse:Security> </SOAP-ENV:Header> <ns1:Body> <ns0:FWTCaseCreate> <ClassificationEventCode> <ClassificationEventCode>2000023</ClassificationEventCode> <Priority>1</Priority> <Title>testing</Title> <Description>testing</Description> <Queue/> <Internal>True</Internal> <XCoord>356570</XCoord> <YCoord>168708</YCoord> </ClassificationEventCode> </ns0:FWTCaseCreate> </ns1:Body> As you can see there is a 'ClassificationEventCode' element around all the other elements, this should not be there. If I cut and paste this xml into SOAPUI and first remove this element and then post it directly to the web service it works successfully. Does anyone have any ideas why this is happening? I guess SUDS thinks that it should be there based on the WSDL. Thanks.

  • Silverlight ControlTemplate and F#

    - by akaphenom
Has anybody had any success incorporating a Silverlight ControlTemplate into an F# Silverlight application. I am trying to add transitions to the Navgiation.Frame element and following along on with a C# example: http://www.davidpoll.com/2009/07/19/silverlight-3-navigation-adding-transitions-to-the-frame-control The downloaded source uses the MSBUILD:Compile option on the template XAML and the file is included as a "Page"... ILDASM doesn't show any object created for the XAML; In my project I incldued it as a "Resource" (same as I have done for my pages) and referenced it in app.xaml: <Application xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation" xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml" x:Class="Module1.MyApp"> <Application.Resources> <ResourceDictionary> <ResourceDictionary.MergedDictionaries> <ResourceDictionary Source="/FSSilverlightApp;component/TransitioningFrame.xaml"/> </ResourceDictionary.MergedDictionaries> </ResourceDictionary> </Application.Resources> </Application> the TransitioningFrame.xaml is as follows: <ResourceDictionary xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation" xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml" xmlns:navigation="clr-namespace:System.Windows.Controls;assembly=System.Windows.Controls.Navigation" xmlns:toolkit="clr-namespace:System.Windows.Controls;assembly=System.Windows.Controls.Layout.Toolkit"> <ControlTemplate x:Key="TransitioningFrame" TargetType="navigation:Frame"> <Border Background="{TemplateBinding Background}" BorderBrush="{TemplateBinding BorderBrush}" BorderThickness="{TemplateBinding BorderThickness}" HorizontalAlignment="{TemplateBinding HorizontalContentAlignment}" VerticalAlignment="{TemplateBinding VerticalContentAlignment}"> <toolkit:TransitioningContentControl Content="{TemplateBinding Content}" Cursor="{TemplateBinding Cursor}" Margin="{TemplateBinding Padding}" HorizontalAlignment="{TemplateBinding HorizontalContentAlignment}" VerticalAlignment="{TemplateBinding VerticalContentAlignment}" HorizontalContentAlignment="{TemplateBinding HorizontalContentAlignment}" VerticalContentAlignment="{TemplateBinding VerticalContentAlignment}" Transition="DefaultTransition" /> </Border> </ControlTemplate> </ResourceDictionary> My page objects all load their respective xaml with the follwoing code: type Page1() as this = inherit UriUserControl("/FSSilverlightApp;component/Page1.xaml") do Application.LoadComponent(this, base.uri) and somewhere in app startup: let p1 = new Page1() I donot have a comparable piece for the ControlTemplate - though I was hoping the application object and App.xaml would pull it in magically (as an aside, the reliance on this magic has made setting up a 100% f# silverlight application rather tricky - as nearly all the published articles I find are based around wizards and short cuts - very little on the acual plumbing - ugh). Any advice or thougts on the subject are appreciated.

  • How to access a named element in a control that inherits from a templated control

    - by Mrt
    Hello this is similar to http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2620165/how-to-access-a-named-element-of-a-derived-user-control-in-silverlight with the difference is inheriting from a templated control, not a user control. I have a templated control called MyBaseControl <Style TargetType="Problemo:MyBaseControl"> <Setter Property="Template"> <Setter.Value> <ControlTemplate TargetType="Problemo:MyBaseControl"> <Grid x:Name="LayoutRoot" Background="White"> <Border Name="HeaderControl" Background="Red" /> </Grid> </ControlTemplate> </Setter.Value> </Setter> </Style> public class MyBaseControl : Control { public UIElement Header { get; set; } public MyBaseControl() { DefaultStyleKey = typeof(MyBaseControl); } public override void OnApplyTemplate() { base.OnApplyTemplate(); var headerControl = GetTemplateChild("HeaderControl") as ContentPresenter; if (headerControl != null) headerControl.Content = Header; } } I have another control called myControl which inherits from MyBaseControl Control <me:MyBaseControl x:Class="Problemo.MyControl" xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation" xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml" xmlns:d="http://schemas.microsoft.com/expression/blend/2008" xmlns:mc="http://schemas.openxmlformats.org/markup-compatibility/2006" mc:Ignorable="d" xmlns:me="clr-namespace:Problemo" d:DesignHeight="300" d:DesignWidth="400"> <me:MyBaseControl.Header> <TextBlock Name="xxx" /> </me:MyBaseControl.Header> </me:MyBaseControl> public partial class MyControl : MyBaseControl { public string Text { get; set; } public MyControl(string text) { InitializeComponent(); Text = text; Loaded += MyControl_Loaded; } void MyControl_Loaded(object sender, RoutedEventArgs e) { base.ApplyTemplate(); xxx.Text = Text; } } The issue is xxx is null. How do I access the xxx control in the code behind ?

  • Averaging initial values for rolling series

    - by Dave Jarvis
Question Given a maximum sliding window size of 40 (i.e., the set of numbers in the list cannot exceed 40), what is the calculation to ensure a smooth averaging transition as the set size grows from 1 to 40? Problem Description Creating a trend line for a set of data has skewed initial values. The complete set of values is unknown at runtime: they are provided one at a time. It seems like a reverse-weighted average is required so that the initial values are averaged differently. In the image below the leftmost data for the trend line are incorrectly averaged. Current Solution Created a new type of ArrayList subclass that calculates the appropriate values and ensures its size never goes beyond the bounds of the sliding window: /** * A list of Double values that has a maximum capacity enforced by a sliding * window. Can calculate the average of its values. */ public class AveragingList extends ArrayList<Double> { private float slidingWindowSize = 0.0f; /** * The initial capacity is used for the sliding window size. * @param slidingWindowSize */ public AveragingList( int slidingWindowSize ) { super( slidingWindowSize ); setSlidingWindowSize( ( float )slidingWindowSize ); } public boolean add( Double d ) { boolean result = super.add( d ); // Prevent the list from exceeding the maximum sliding window size. // if( size() > getSlidingWindowSize() ) { remove( 0 ); } return result; } /** * Calculate the average. * * @return The average of the values stored in this list. */ public double average() { double result = 0.0; int size = size(); for( Double d: this ) { result += d.doubleValue(); } return (double)result / (double)size; } /** * Changes the maximum number of numbers stored in this list. * * @param slidingWindowSize New maximum number of values to remember. */ public void setSlidingWindowSize( float slidingWindowSize ) { this.slidingWindowSize = slidingWindowSize; } /** * Returns the number used to determine the maximum values this list can * store before it removes the first entry upon adding another value. * @return The maximum number of numbers stored in this list. */ public float getSlidingWindowSize() { return slidingWindowSize; } } Resulting Image Example Input The data comes into the function one value at a time. For example, data points (Data) and calculated averages (Avg) typically look as follows: Data: 17.0 Avg : 17.0 Data: 17.0 Avg : 17.0 Data: 5.0 Avg : 13.0 Data: 5.0 Avg : 11.0  Related Sites The following pages describe moving averages, but typically when all (or sufficient) data is known: http://www.cs.princeton.edu/introcs/15inout/MovingAverage.java.html http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2161815/r-zoo-series-sliding-window-calculation http://taragana.blogspot.com/ http://www.dreamincode.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=92508 http://blogs.sun.com/nickstephen/entry/dtrace_and_moving_rolling_averages

  • Google Checkout. Show shipping rates before logging in possible?

    - by Roeland
I am trying to integrate google checkout with my current site. I am calculating the shipping on my end, before passing it to google checkout. The problem is, when a person click the "google checkout" button, it takes them to google checkout but it does not show the shipping. It actually states it will be calculated on next step. In the next step it actually shows a drop down with the ONE option for shipping that I passed, which is a flat rate.. The problem is, to get to the next step you have to enter a credit card. Also, my shop has the shipping shown in the cart, so it would seem confusing to go to checkout and have a price without shipping. Here is the test code I am using right now to see if I can get it to show shipping before logging in (sample it here: http://sensenich.bythepixel.com/test.html) <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html;charset=utf-8" /> <title>Site Title</title> </head> <body> <form method="POST" action="https://sandbox.google.com/checkout/api/checkout/v2/checkoutForm/Merchant/468503062558352" accept-charset="utf-8"> <input type="hidden" name="item_name_1" value="Peanut Butter"/> <input type="hidden" name="item_description_1" value="Chunky peanut butter."/> <input type="hidden" name="item_quantity_1" value="1"/> <input type="hidden" name="item_price_1" value="3.99"/> <input type="hidden" name="item_currency_1" value="USD"/> <input type="hidden" name="checkout-flow-support.merchant-checkout-flow-support.shipping-methods.flat-rate-shipping-1.name" value="UPS Next Day Air"/> <input type="hidden" name="checkout-flow-support.merchant-checkout-flow-support.shipping-methods.flat-rate-shipping-1.price" value="20.00"/> <input type="hidden" name="checkout-flow-support.merchant-checkout-flow-support.shipping-methods.flat-rate-shipping-1.price.currency" value="USD"/> <input type="hidden" name="_charset_" /> <!-- Button code --> <input type="image" name="Google Checkout" alt="Fast checkout through Google" src="http://sandbox.google.com/checkout/buttons/checkout.gif?merchant_id=468503062558352&w=180&h=46&style=white&variant=text&loc=en_US" height="46" width="180" /> </form> </body> </html>

  • Android HttpsURLConnection and JSON for new GCM

    - by Ryan Gray
I'm overhauling certain parts of my app to use the new GCM service to replace C2DM. I simply want to create the JSON request from a Java program for testing and then read the response. As of right now I can't find ANY formatting issues with my JSON request and the google server always return code 400, which indicates a problem with my JSON. http://developer.android.com/guide/google/gcm/gcm.html#server JSONObject obj = new JSONObject(); obj.put("collapse_key", "collapse key"); JSONObject data = new JSONObject(); data.put("info1", "info_1"); data.put("info2", "info 2"); data.put("info3", "info_3"); obj.put("data", data); JSONArray ids = new JSONArray(); ids.add(REG_ID); obj.put("registration_ids", ids); System.out.println(obj.toJSONString()); I print my request to the eclipse console to check it's formatting byte[] postData = obj.toJSONString().getBytes(); try{ URL url = new URL("https://android.googleapis.com/gcm/send"); HttpsURLConnection.setDefaultHostnameVerifier(new JServerHostnameVerifier()); HttpsURLConnection conn = (HttpsURLConnection) url.openConnection(); conn.setDoOutput(true); conn.setDoInput(true); conn.setUseCaches(false); conn.setRequestMethod("POST"); conn.setRequestProperty("Content-Type", "application/json"); conn.setRequestProperty("Authorization", "key=" + API_KEY); System.out.println(conn.toString()); OutputStream out = conn.getOutputStream(); // exception thrown right here. no InputStream to get InputStream in = conn.getInputStream(); byte[] response = null; out.write(postData); out.close(); in.read(response); JSONParser parser = new JSONParser(); String temp = new String(response); JSONObject temp1 = (JSONObject) parser.parse(temp); System.out.println(temp1.toJSONString()); int responseCode = conn.getResponseCode(); System.out.println(responseCode + ""); } catch(Exception e){ System.out.println("Exception thrown\n"+ e.getMessage()); } } I'm sure my API key is correct as that would result in error 401, so says the google documentation. This is my first time doing JSON but it's easy to understand because of its simplicity. Anyone have any ideas on why I always receive code 400? update: I've tested the google server example classes provided with gcm so the problem MUST be with my code.

  • not sure if this is my mistake ~~ vs2010 Add Service Reference fails

    - by gerryLowry
https://tbe.taleo.net/MANAGER/dispatcher/servlet/rpcrouter the above is from Taleo's API guide. I'm trying to create a WCF Client (e.g.: " Creating Your First WCF Client" http://channel9.msdn.com/shows/Endpoint/Endpoint-Screencasts-Creating-Your-First-WCF-Client/ ) The tbe.taleo... link is from Taleo's API documentation. Likely my understanding is flawed. My assumption is that when the link from Taleo is entered into the vs2010 "Add Service Reference" dialog and GO is clicked, then vs2010 should retrieve a proper WSDL/SOAP envelope back from the Taleo link. That does not happen; instead an error occurs. Fiddler2 (http://fiddler2.com) displays the status code 500 "HTTP/1.1 500 Internal Server Error". [FULL DETAILS BELOW] "WcfTestClient.exe" gives a similar error: [WcfTestClient DETAILS BELOW] QUESTION: is it me, or is the Taleo link flawed? • iPhone: value of selectedIndex for tab should be consistent, but isn't

    - by Janine
This should be so simple... but something screwy is happening. My setup looks like this: MainViewController Tab Bar Controller 4 tabs, each of which loads WebViewController My AppDelegate contains an ivar, tabBarController, which is connected to the tab bar controller (this was all set up in Interface Builder). The leftmost tab is marked "selected" in IB. Within the viewWillAppear method in WebViewController, I need to know which tab was just selected so I can load the correct URL. I do this by switching on appDelegate.tabBarController.selectedIndex. When the app first runs and the leftmost tab is selected, selectedIndex is a large garbage value. After that, I get values from 0 to 3, which is as it should be, but they are in random order. Not only that, but each tab I touch reports a different value each time. This app is extremely simple right now and I can't imagine what I could have done to make things go this wrong. Has anyone seen (and hopefully solved) this behavior? Update: we have a request for code. There's not much to see. The tab bar controller gets loaded in applicationDidFinishLaunching: [self.mainViewController view]; //force nib to load [self.window addSubview:self.mainViewController.tabBarController.view] There is currently no code whatsoever in MainViewController.m other than the synthesize and release for tabBarController. From WebVewController.m: - (void)viewWillAppear:(BOOL)_animation { [super viewWillAppear:_animation]; NSURL *url; switch([S_UIDelegate mainViewController].tabBarController.selectedIndex) { case 0: url = [NSURL URLWithString:@"http://www.cnn.com"]; break; case 1: url = [NSURL URLWithString:@"http://www.facebook.com"]; break; case 2: url = [NSURL URLWithString:@"http://www.twitter.com"]; break; case 3: url = [NSURL URLWithString:@"http://www.google.com"]; break; default: url = [NSURL URLWithString:@"http://www.msnbc.com"]; } NSURLRequest *request = [NSURLRequest requestWithURL:url]; [webView loadRequest:request]; } This is where I'm seeing the random values.

  • Parsing Web Service Response in Oracle 9i

    - by zechariahs
I'm having trouble parsing an XML response from a web service. I have a feeling this is due to a namespace issue. But, after 4 hours of research, trial-and-error, and head-banging I haven't been able to resolve it. Please help. My goal is to get a dbms_xmldom.DOMNodeList that contains "ERRORS" nodes. XML Response: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?> <soap:Envelope xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"> <soap:Body> <GetMailDataResponse xmlns="https://www.customnamespacehost.com/webservicename"> <GetMailDataResult> <Errors xmlns=""> <ErrorDetail>Access Credentials Invalid</ErrorDetail> </Errors> </GetMailDataResult> </GetMailDataResponse> </soap:Body> Code: Unfortunately this code compiles but doesn't work. Error: "ORA-31013: Invalid XPATH expression." I believe this is due to the multiple namespaces defined in L_NS variable.
