  • Android & Google Maps - close info window with back button

    I have an activity that holds a fragment with Google Map view in it. App adds several dozens of markers to the MapView, using MarkerManager and ClusterRenderer to form clusters. The problem is that when I have marker's InfoWindow opened and I press hardware Back button, it closes the app. Instead of that, I would like to have the InfoWindow closed. Is there any straightforward way to achieve this?

  • More intelligent Context Menus in Visual Studio 2008 Database Projects

    I'm using a SQL Server 2008 Database Project, and I'm finding it's very cumbersome to add certain items. For example, if I right click on Tables = Keys and navigate to the Add item, I'd expect to see the different kinds of keys that I can add. Instead, I see the stock items that don't apply, and I'm forced to navigate the Add New Item screen to find Primary Key. Is there a way to make this more efficient? I have Resharper; can I leverage templates somehow (kind of a noob with these). Thanks!

I have like that : Set cur_sheet = Worksheets("Sheet2") Set Rng = cur_sheet.Range("A1", "C1523") For Each cell In Rng.Cells a=1 next cell if there is row 370 that I have error message " Run time error 94" Invalid use of Null So I do not know what can I change. This row should be ok, filled with text. Why this FOR is not working properly and change range !! ? 370 rows are proceesed correctly, than it is error. Do you have any ideas ?

    Hi there, I have a funny problem I'd like to ask you guys ('n gals) about. I'm importing some module A that is importing some non-existent module B. Of course this will result in an ImportError. This is what A.py looks like import B Now let's import A >>> import A Traceback (most recent call last): File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module> File "/tmp/importtest/A.py", line 1, in <module> import B ImportError: No module named B Alright, on to the problem. How can I know if this ImportError results from importing A or from some corrupt import inside A without looking at the error's string representation.   • Bash script to find a directory, list it's contents and sub-folders info

    Hi I want to write a script that will: 1- locate folder "store" on a *nix filesystem 2- move into that folder 3- print list of contents with last modification date 4- calculate sub-folders size This folder's absolute path changes from server to server, but the folder name remains the same always. There is a config file that contains the correct path to that folder though, but it doesn't give absolute bath to it. Sample Config: Account ON DIR-Store /hdd1 Scheduled YES ?According to the config file the absolute path would be "/hdd1/backup/store/" I need the script to grep the "/hdd1" or anything beyond the word "Config-Store", add "/backup/store/" to it, move into folder "store", print list of it's contents, and calculate sub-folders size. Until now I manually edit the script on each server to reflect the path to the "store" folder.     I have a webpage that the user inputs data into a textarea and then process and display it with some javascript. For example if the user types: _Hello_ *World* it would do something like: <underline>Hello</underline> <b>World</b> Or something like that, the details aren't important. Now the user can "save" the page to make it something like site.com/page#_Hello_%20*World* and share that link with others. My question is: Is this the best way to do this? Is there a limit on a url that I should be worried about? Should I do something like what jsfiddle does? I would prefer not to as the site would work offline if the full text would be in the hash, and as the nature of the site is to be used offline, the user would have to first cache the jsfiddle-like hash before they could use it. What's the best way to do this?

    I'm trying to get a sense of how to implement the user/role relationships for an application I'm writing. The persistence layer is Google App Engine's datastore, which places some interesting (but generally beneficial) constraints on what can be done. Any thoughts are appreciated. It might be helpful to keep things very concrete. I would like there to be organizations, users, test content and test administrations (records of tests that have been taken). A user can have the role of participant (test-taker), contributor of test material or both. A user can also be a member of zero or more organizations. In the role of participant, the user can see the previous administrations of tests he or she has taken. The user can also see a test administration of another participant if that participant has given the user authorization. The user can see test material that has been made public, and he or she can see restricted content as a participant during a specific administration of a test for which that user has been authorized by an organization. As a member of an organization, the user can see restricted content in the role of contributor, and he or she might or might not also be able to edit the content. Each organization should have one or more administrators that can determine whether a member can see and edit content and determine who has admin privileges. There should also be one or more application-wide superusers that can troubleshoot and solve problems. Members of organizations can see the administrations of tests that the participants concerned have authorized them to see, and they can see anonymous data if no authorization has been given. A user cannot see the test results of another user in any other circumstances. Since there are no joins in the App Engine datastore, it might be necessary to have things less normalized than usual for the typical SQL database in order to ensure that queries that check permissions are fast (e.g., ones that determine whether a link is to be displayed). My questions are: How do I move forward on this? Should I spend a lot of time up front in order to get the model right, or can I iterate several times and gradually roll in additional complexity? Does anyone have some general ideas about how to break things up in this instance? Are there any GAE libraries that handle roles in a way that is compatible with this arrangement?

  • usb wifi dongle on ubuntu server, cannot install realtek driver RTL 8188cus

    I got cheap Ebay wifi dongle from HongKong, Im trying to set it up on my ubuntu server. Occasionally need to move server, so it cannot always be connected to router via lan. Anyhow, usb wifi came with a driver cd.   • How can I create global context variables in JBOSS?

    This is a follow-up to a question I posted a while back: "Can I use a single WAR in multiple environments?". I was able to create a single-war solution in Tomcat, but now we are migrating our app to JBoss 4.2 and I can't figure out how to set up global environment variables. In Tomcat 6 this was pretty straightforward: I simply put the following snippet in tomcat/conf/Catalina/myappname.xml: <Context ...> <Environment name="TARGET_ENV" value="DEV" type="java.lang.String" override="false"/> </Context> Then in my app I was able to resolve the environment name with the following: Context context = (Context) InitialContext().lookup("java:comp/env"); String targetEnvironment = (String) context.lookup("TARGET_ENV"); The problem is that I can't find out where/how to place global variables in JBoss. I've tried putting the <Environment> tag in the following files to no avail: server/all/deploy/jboss-web.deployer/context.xml server/default/deploy/jboss-web.deployer/context.xml I know that I can put environment variables in my app's web.xml but that defeats the purpose of having a unified war - I'd still need custom .war's for dev, qa and prod.   • How to draw a part of a window into a memory device context?

    I'm using simple statements to keep it, er, simple: The screen goes from 0, 0 to 1000, 1000 (screen coordinates). A window goes from 100, 100 to 900, 900 (screen coordinates). I have a memory device context that goes from 0, 0 to 200, 200 (logical coordinates). I need to send a WM_PRINT message to the window. I can pass the device context to the window via WM_PRINT, but I cannot pass which part of its window it should draw into the device context. Is there some way to alter the device context that will result in the window drawing a specific part of itself into the device context (say, its bottom right portion from 700, 700 to 900, 900)? (This is all under plain old GDI and in C or C++. Any solution must be too.) Please note: This problem is part of a larger solution in which the device context size is fixed and speed is crucial, so I cannot draw the window in full into a separate device context and blit the part I want from the resultant full bitmap into my device context.

    I am going insane! This is a simple app with two Views. FirstView is a text field with info button to flip to SecondView. In SecondView I have 6 buttons for background color choice. When button is pushed the color of background changes perfectly but cannot make it also change background color for FirstView. Any help would be GREAT! Thanks! I am using Objective C class working on a iPhone app. Sorry new at this. The SecondView acts almost like a settings page in the fact that when a button is pushed the background color changes to the button color. I need it so when I push the "back" button to go back to FirstView the background color has also changed to that color choice.     I am trying to implement JUnit tests for a class that performs DB queries using Hibernate. When I create the class under test, I get access to the session through the factory by doing the following: InitialContext context = new InitialContext(); sessionFactory = (SessionFactory) context.lookup(hibernateContext); This works fine when I deploy this to JBoss 5.1. I am trying to figure out how to get this to work with my JUnit test. I keep getting an exception stating that I "Need to specify class name in environment or system property, or as an applet parameter, or in an application resource file: java.naming.factory.initial". I've searched high and low but haven't been able to find any information about what specifically I need to do to get this to work. I am not using Spring or any frameworks, just plain old Java and JUnit.

    Hello, I need to set an application context through Hibernate. I found there is a method setApplicationContext on oracle.jdbc.internal.OracleConnection. I wrote a test, in which I was getting the Oracle connection from the Hibernate session and it worked fine. However, when I moved the code to my application running under JBoss where connections are obtained from the pool the solution won't work. The error is: $Proxy51 cannot be cast to oracle.jdbc.internal.OracleConnection. (1) How can I get the internal connection in that environment? (2) Is there a better way to set an application context through Hibernate (docs don't say anything about it). Thanks so much. Kris
