  I have an issue with Google. (GMail to be exact) About 1 month ago, we had a security breach, and mail was relayed through our servers. we got listed in almost ALL Black-Lists :( we fixed the problem, and requested removal from Black-lists, which was granted easily. currently (over 3 weeks), we are not sending any spam anymore. furthermore, we got clear from all the Black-lists (MxToolBox Black-List Search Result) But, GMail still refuse to get Anything from the server, stating '550 Spam'.   Hi, I'm trying to send emails through localhost (XAMPP Windows 1.7.3 installation), but I've been trying for hours with no success. Is there anything I need to setup in my server to insure email delivery? I messed with php.ini and sendmail's config a bit with no luck. And openSSL isn't available in case that matters. • Exchange 2003 mailbox migrated to 2010 not showing up in Address book

  I have migrated about 45 mailboxes at this point from our single instance of Exchange 2003 to a High Availability Exchange 2010 environment successfully. However one mailbox moved successfully and the user is able to send and receive e-mail internally and externally with no problems but they do not show up in the Global Address List. The OAB is owned by an Exchange 2010 mailbox server. What am I missing?

  I just recently (+- 30 minutes ago) install Ubuntu 12.04 Desktop on my pc (dual boot) via Live USB (i check the "automatically install upgrade" option when installing it). unfortunately, at the login screen after the installation finished (after reboot), i cannot use my mouse! also, an error message occur saying that network connection is not available. but, when i restart again and using the "try Ubuntu without installing" in the Live USB, the problems didn't occur. i tried to googling this but failed to find any solution. and yes, i am totally green on Ubuntu and Linux. so, please, help me on this. thanks in advance.

• Port translation in router causing some email to fail

  We are in the process of setting up a spam filter (SAVASM). One change we are making is to push incoming email on port 25 through our spam filter/server but have users actually send their email on a different port. I am attempting to make this happen by using port address translation to send port 25 traffic to the SAVASM server IP. As a step in making this change I setup port translation without actually changing the IP addresses. The NAT rules for the email server went from one Static NAT rule with no port specified, to multiple Static NAT rules each with a port or group matching the Access Rules for that server (smtp, pop3, http, https, and some other custom ports). The problem we are running into is confusing. Some outgoing mail through this server is failing when the router has the multiple NAT rules with port translation settings. Email goes through fine FROM our email to our internal accounts and to Gmail. However email fails when FROM our client's email address TO our client's email or their personal Comcast. The only situation that worked for them was if they changed FROM to Comcast and then messages went through fine to both Comcast and the client's accounts. Switching back to regular Static NAT rule everything then worked for them. Does anyone have a clue as to what might be going on? We are on a Cisco ASA 5500 box.

  We are currently losing some e-mail and we discovered that this is caused by a wrong DNS setting. We used a CNAME for our MX record an thats not allowed. So about 2 weeks ago we changed it to an A-record to fix the problem. It seems all major DNS services (like OpenDNS and ISPs) have synced their records and are returning correct results on our DNS queries. But Googles DNS service (at 8.8.8.8) is still returning the CNAME values and we still some e-mails are not delivered correctly. • Why does Google mark one e-mail as spam while does not the other?

  I've a Postfix installation which works fine, I don't get any trouble with mails sent through a mail client (in my case, Thunderbird or RoundCube) when the To: address is a GMail account. However, I recently needed to use the PHPMailer tool to send some e-mails to some GMail accounts, so I configured an account to be used via SASL authentication + TLS. I don't mean mass mailing, just 2-3 mails. If I send the e-mail from the Thunderbird or RoundCube clients, the mail is not marked as spam. However, if I use PHPMailer, it always gets catalogued as spam. So I compared both headers and I just can't find the reason why the second is marked as spam while the first one is just ok. • Exchange Transport Service Started but not working

  Good day, Here is the problem : We are hosting a Microsoft Exchange Server. Everything working fine until recently, where the mail transport seems to go wrong. We almost have to restart the service every morning. The thing is that the transport service is started, but the mail are not delivered to the users and senders to our server get a delayed delivery notification. When we restart the service, all the mail is then delivered to the users and we're good to go for a day or two. Things I've noticed : The store service is growing to around 6 Gb of used RAM, and the w3wp.exe service is hanging around 700mb RAM. Is there a way to schedule a restart of the transport role every 4 hours or something while I'm solving the issue so I don't have to worry when I leave for the week-end? And most of all...does anyone have any idea on how to solve this issue? Thanks, Philippe

  Some of the mails for a particular domain are not getting delivered from our mail server. We are using sendmail for mail server. But if I send the mail through commandline using mailx command from the same server , the message is going through...   We have set up a new SharePoint 2007 site with a Records Repository. We're using Exchange 2007 Managed Folders to route e-mails to this repository based on the 'label' attached to the e-mail as set in the Exchange 2007 journaling options. E-mails added to a Managed Folder get sent to SharePoint, they end up in the "Submitted E-mail Records" list of the Records Repository. That's according to plan, but the e-mails are not routed to the respective document library as defined by the label. Instead an error appears in the event viewer for every e-mail listed in the Submitted E-mail Records list, on every interval of the records repository schedule (set to every two minutes for testing purposes): Value cannot be null, parameter name: g. Sending a document from the SharePoint site iself to the Records Repository via the Send To... link works fine, but e-mails get stuck in the list... We have set Document Libraries in the Respository with and without content types (with matching names with the Label and the Record Routing rule set). Any ideas what could be wrong? We have firewall to ratelimit the sender, but for the following email, the firewall couldn't do this because of the empty FROM address. Why an empty FROM address is consider OK? We selected 'America/New_York' for 'EST/-5.0/no DST' instead Filename: libraries/Email.php Line Number: 709 In addition to the above, these two also show up after the forgotten password form is submitted: A PHP Error was encountered Severity: Warning Message: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/username/codeigniter/system/core/Exceptions.php:185) Filename: libraries/Session.php Line Number: 675 A PHP Error was encountered Severity: Warning Message: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/username/codeigniter/system/core/Exceptions.php:185) Filename: helpers/url_helper.php Line Number: 540 I'm not sure why I would be getting these Error Warnings or how else I am supposed to configure my email sending options. I don't see any other email sending options in the documentation that is related to these particular Warning Messages. When I remove my config/email.php file AND set Ion Auth's use_ci_email to FALSE, the Error Warnings go away. Where did I go wrong? Just before I hit the submit button, I solved this problem. I'm still going to post this question as a learning experience for others. If nobody solves this after a reasonable amount of time, I'll post the solution.

• Can I use this technique to provide free email service for my users?

  I'll let users register their [email protected] ,,, they enter their members area where they can : 1- send emails ( easy to do) 2- receive emails .. for receiving emails , I'll use a catch all email account , read the email and figure to whom it's sent (username), and then I save it on the database with userid of the username who has registerd ! Do I miss something here ... is it really this simple (if I don't have an email server) ?

• Is it possible to send an email and auto redirect in single php file?

  As the title said: Is it possible to send an email (using php mail()) and after sending the email, auto redirect to another page. All the codes will be in single php file? Code-wise, should be something like this: if(mail(argument...)){ header("Location: www.google.com"); } I think I would get a: "Error: header information already sent" or something like. But what if I want to send email and then auto-redirect on that page?? Possible?
