  • Access SDExplorer (System Folder) from my C# app

    Hello everyone I am trying out Windows Live SkyDrive, and I installed SDExplorer (http://www.cloudstorageexplorer.com/) It works by adding my SkyDrive folder to Windows Explorer, but it does not get a drive name or anything, so how can I access that drive/folder from my C# application? When I go into the folder and look at the address bar it says "Computer\SDExplorer". Directory.GetDirectories(@"\Computer\SDExplorer") does not work, because it translates to "C:\Computer\SDExplorer". I would like to be able to create a small application that can create folders and upload files to my SkyDrive account. Anybody know how these special folder/drives work? - I noticed MozyHome appears in the same way in my Windows Explorer.

    I have a remote share in windows 7 and accessing the same share from windows 2008. I have a small script in PHP which denys the read permission on a folder in a share and again give the full permissions on that folder in the share and deletes that folder .Here the Problem is "Denying the Read Permission is working fine and again assigning full permission on that folder in the share is not working .Iam using icacls for assigning all the permissions .When i try to assign the Full permission on that folder in the share It is giving error message "The system cannot find the file specified ".When we output the command from the script and execute it on commandline it is working fine .Why is it not working from my PHP script .Please Advise me $dir_name = "testdir"; $share_path = "\\SERVERABCD\myshare"; mkdir($share_path."\$dir_name"); $path_escaped = '"'.$path.'"'; $user = getenv('USERNAME'); $cmd = 'icacls ' . $path_escaped .     Hi, I have a folder with numerous files that I need to copy to multiple PC's on a network. I thought if the folder didn't exist it would automatically create it. Here's what I have... copy "C:\Documents and Settings\follag\Desktop\Music" "\PC NAME\c$\Documents and Settings\All Users\Desktop\Music" When I look at the destinatin PC, it is not creating the folder and copying the files.     Hi, I'm trying to design this script that's supposed to be used as a part of a logon script for alot of users. And this script is basically supposed to take a source folder and destination folder as basically just make sure that the destination folder has the exact same content as the source folder. But only copy if the datemodified stamp of the source file is newer than the destination file. I have been thinking out this basic pseudo code, just trying to make sure this is valid and solid basically.     i have published asp.net mvc application on iis 6 on the server(windows server 2003) from local machine. On server i have set the default page to default.aspx. but when i try to browse the site on server, it gives me exception "The incoming request does not match any route" One thing i noticed is that.     I'm trying to make a Live Folder with URIs. The intent I set to the Live Folder items is an Intent{Intent.ACTION_VIEW, Uri.parse(url)}. I have verified url is indeed http://www.google.com (for testing purposes). But when I click the item in the live folder I get an error message: "Application is not installed on your phone." I guess I'm missing something, but I have no idea how to make the browser launch.

  • Using boost asio for pub/sub style tcp in a game loop

    I have been reading through the boost asio documentation for a couple of hours now, and while I think the documentation is really great, I am still left a bit confused on how to implement the system that I need. I have to stream info, from a game engine, to a list of computers over tcp. One snag is that, unlike traditional pub/sub, the computer that does the distribution of info is actually the computer that has to connect to the subscribers as well (instead of the subscribers registering with the publisher). This is done via a config file - a list of ip's/ports along with the data that they each require. The subscribers listen, but do not know the ip of the publisher. (As a side note, I'm quite new to network programming, so maybe I'm missing something .. but it's strange that I do not find much information regarding this style of "inverted" client-server model..) I am looking for suggestions for the implementation of such a system using boost asio. Of course I have to integrate the networking into an already existing engine, so with regards to that: What would be a good way to handle messages being sent to multiple computers every frame? Use async_write, call io_service.run and then reset every frame? Would having io_service.run have its own thread be better? Or should I just use threads and use blocking writes?

    I have checked out articles and tutorials. I don't know what to do about the security of my picture upload-folder. It is pictures for classifieds which should be uploaded to the folder. This is what I want: Anybody may upload images to the folder. The images will be moved to another folder, by another php-code later on (automatic). Only I may manually remove them, as well as another php file on the server which automatically empties the folder after x-days. What should I do here? The images are uploaded via a php-upload script. This script checks to see if the extension of the file is actually a valid image-file. When I try this: chmod 755 images the images wont be uploaded. But like this it works: chmod 777 images But 777 is a security risk right? Please give me detailed information... The Q is, what to do to solve this problem, not info about what permissions there are etc etc... Thanks If you need more info let me know...

    I created an app to post to pages the user chooses. How can I direct the message to a page Wall on behalf of the user? From my tests the post is sent, but the page can't see it and the page is not notified either. I have OAuth extended Permissions of publish_stream, what else do I need to my post not being invisible? I will try to clarify the problem in details: 1- I send a post to a Facebook page that is not mine, I'm just a normal user, via application that ask for publish_stream, read_stream permissions. 2- I verify the page logging as admin but no notification is delivered and I can't see the post on my Wall. 3-If I log as the sender user I can see the post on page Wall, it looks like the post is private and just the sender user can see It. If I try to recover the post via Graph API using the same user it returns false. 4- Only the users who has the app installed can see the post on page wall.
