  How does such a small Teradici card ![enter image description here][1] offer high resolution, full FPS 3D graphics (1:38) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eXA4QMmfY5Y&feature=player_detailpage#t=97s for ESXi 5.0/5.1 VDI environments? We're shooting for an AutoCAD/SolidWorks/YouTube 1080p capable environment. I can't see how such a small and low profile card could possibly have the horsepower to handle such GPU computations for a big environment like that. We're going to have up to 64 VDIs per server, and are a 500-1000 employee count sized company. Someone enlighten me please! Determining which route to go (between RemoteFX and VMware View/PCoIP) and the hardware (NVIDIA 4GB non-Quadro/Tesla GPUs vs Teradici card). Servers have three 4x, three 8x, and one 16x PCI-E lane. Two of the 8x lanes will be occupied by SAS RAID cards.

  Consolidated Error Report: Controller: Smart Array P400 in slot 3 Device: Physical Drive 1I:1:1 Message: Predictive failure. We have an HP DL380 G5 server with two 72GB 15k SAS drives configured in RAID1. A couple weeks ago, the server reported a drive failure on Drive 1. We replaced the drive with a brand new HDD -- same spares number. A few days ago, the server started reporting a predictive drive failure on the new drive, in the same bay. Is it likely the new drive is bad... or more likely we have a bay failure problem? This is a production server, so any advice would be appreciated. I have another spare drive, so I can hot swap it if this is a fluke and new drive is just bad. THANKS! CharlieJ

• Multiple FIle Upload in FTP Using CMD

  I've large number of files, over 10,000, which I want to upload in FTP server. Now, I can't zip those files & upload it as I've to read those files individually in SAS software for my analysis. If I use mput commant, then the prompt as me to say "y" eact time it tries to upload the file. This is very cumbersome. Is there any method by which it automatically upload the files without I've to manually entering "y" each time file wants to upload.   This question already has an answer here: Can you help me with my capacity planning? 2 answers I will need to buy a decent server for Windows Server 2012 and Linux for Web server (Internal use only - Intranet). I will install ESXi with 2 or 3 VM's. There will be about 80-100 Agents at work, they will login (domain controller) on client PC in the morning (between 9:40am to 10:05am). They can only use IE browser and everything else will be locked. • Sendmail Failing to Forward Locally Addressed Mail to Exchange Server

  I've recently gained employment as a web developer with a small company. What they neglected to tell me upon hire was that I would be administrating the server along with my other daily duties. Now, truth be told, I'm not clueless when it comes to these things, but this is my first rodeo working with a rack server/console.. However, I'm confident that I will be able to work through any solutions you provide. Short Description: When a customer places an order via our (Magento CE 1.8.1.0) website, a copy of said order is supposed to be BCC'd to our sales manager. I say supposed because this was a working feature before the old administrator left. Long Description: Shortly after I started, we had a server crash which required a server restart. After restart, we noticed a few features on our site weren't working, but all those have been cleaned up except this one. I had to create an account on our server for root access. When a customer places an order, our sites software (Magento CE 1.8.1.0) is configured to BCC the customers order email to our sales manager. We use a Microsoft Exchange 2007 Server for our mail, which is hosted on a different machine (in-house) that I don't have access to ATM, but I'm sure I could if needed. As far as I can tell, all other external emails work.. Only INTERNAL email addresses fail to deliver. I know this because I've also tested my own internal address via our website. I set up an account with an internal email, made a test order, and never received the email. I changed my email for the account to an external GMail account, and received emails as expected. Let's dive into the logs and config's. Everytime I get a new Project / Customer I want to add a certain Folder Structure in my "Customer" / "Project" sub directory. It might look like this: Customer_name/ Bugs Documents Important Support/ Done And as it is today, I have to manually add these manually, which is harsh when you have a lot of it going on and each sub directory under the customer_name directory needs to have "display all items" since it's important to me to see all Items in Bugs / Support / Important. • Inserting a very long Excel table into Word

  I have a very long excel (2003) s/sheet with in excess of 600 rows that I want to paste into an MS Word document (also 2003). However, I want to ensure that: 1) The header row appears automatically at the top of each page. 2) The s/sheet automatically formats to the correct page width (the one I have is slightly wider than my Word page).   I've been looking for a text editor that automatically (or at least makes it easy to-) make some sort of navigation. Adobe Reader has this functionality with its bookmark system: Right now, though, I'm using Word 2007. For each section, I go Insert Bookmark, highlight the text, copy/paste the text as the link information, and it appears at the top of the document. I've made a macro to add bookmarks easier, but it's still pretty awful, and the bookmarks are still at the top of the page (rather than in the sidebar, where it's always accessible) Honestly, I would just prefer to write it in a PDF like in that screenshot. But any text editor with this type of functionality would work. It just needs basic formatting options, bold/font size, underline, images, maybe tables.

There are about 20 cards on my sheet, and I'd like to add a spot where I can set the logo and have it reflect that logo in each card without having to update 20 different images each time I create cards for a new team (and thus, a new logo). Is there a way to automate this process similar to setting one cell equal to the value of another (=A4, for instance)? I think the images aren't part of a cell and they float on top of the sheet, but I had hoped there was a way either with a macro or other VBA function (or maybe something built-in) that would accomplish this.

  Is there a way to create a comment for cell D7 (for example) such that when the user hovers over it the comment has a hot link or hyperlink to cell A100? I dont know what else to call it other than a hot link or hyperlink, however its not like the hyperlink we know of in HTML. Or, maybe it could it be? The effect that is desired is that when the user sees that comment, he/she can click on the link to cell A100 if they choose to do so. I do not wish to create a macro or use VBA behind a button, etc.. It must be within the comment box itself. One of the issues I have run into is that once you move the mouse, the comment goes away. • Google Chrome auto-clicker extension?

  I'm looking for an auto-clicker that will auto click page elements in Google Chrome. Standard auto-clickers work fine, but I'd like to continue working on my computer without having to keep Google Chrome open. Does anyone know of any extensions that offer this functionality? Anything that allows me to specify an element to be clicked on, or set screen co-ordinates within a webpage and will click away until I decide to stop the script would be perfect. I've tried looking at macro extensions, but they don't seem to offer the functionality I want. Can anybody suggest a particular extension? Thanks in advance.

• Using Excel data in Microsoft Publisher

  I have never worked in Microsoft Publisher. To build the presentation we're having to input the same information from a microsoft excel master. For instance- My excel has these columns: Item Title, Item Description, Item Dimensions, Notes, Created Date From there, I'm having the RE-type the information underneath a picture of the item in powerpoint (or publisher) in order to present to the client. So I'm retyping the item name, description, dimensions, etc. I'm also reformatting slides each time I do this. I know there's a way to streamline this process, to build a powerpoint and/or something in publisher that will bring in the data needed based on a merge (or maybe macro), but I haven't been able to figure out how. Any suggestions?

• zabbix monitoring mysql database

  I have a server running multiple instances of mysql and also has the zabbix-agent running. In zabbix_agentd.conf i have specified: UserParameter=multi.mysql[*],mysqladmin --socket=$1 -uzabbixagent extended-status 2>/dev/null | awk '/ $3 /{print $$4}' where $1 is the socket instance. From the zabbix server i can run the test successfully. zabbix_get -s ip_of_server -k multi.mysql[/var/lib/mysql/mysql2.sock] and it returns all the values However the zabbix item/trigger does not generate the graphs, I have created a MACRO for $1 which is the socket location {$MYSQL_SOCKET1} = '/var/lib/mysql/mysql2.sock' and i use this key in items to poll the value multi.mysql[{$MYSQL_SOCKET1},Bytes_sent] LOGS: this is what i get on the logs: 3360:20120214:144716.278 item [multi.mysql['/var/lib/mysql/mysql2.sock',Bytes_received]] error: Special characters '\'"`*?[]{}~$!&;()<>|#@' are not allowed in the parameters 3360:20120214:144716.372 item [multi.mysql['/var/lib/mysql/mysql2.sock',Bytes_sent]] error: Special characters '\'"`*?[]{}~$!&;()<>|#@' are not allowed in the parameters Any ideas where the problem could be? FIXED {$MYSQL_SOCKET1} = /var/lib/mysql/mysql2.sock i removed the single quotes from the line and it worked...

• Funky mail sorting and grouping in Outlook 2007

  In outlook 2007 I group mails in a folder by subject with mails in each subject group sorted by Received date (newest to oldest) This works fine; I tick 'Subject' and 'Show in groups' in the context menu of the folder's table header. Life is good. But the subject groups in the mail folder are sorted alphabetically. I would like the group which has the newest mail to be the first group. Similar to how the arrange by 'Conversation' works Can this be done? I'm not averse to an add-in/macro type solution if anyone can point me at examples of implementing custom sorting in Outlook
