    Hello all im trying to compile the poco lib in vs express 2008 but im keep getting this error : poco-1.3.6p2\foundation\src\eventlogchannel.cpp(40) : fatal error C1083: Cannot open include file: 'pocomsg.h': No such file or directory no i have the mc.exe in my sdk and all the paths in the IDE are seams to be right and nada . does any one have experience with this lib ?

  • Add Silverlight Bing Maps Control to Windows Mobile 7 application

    I know the bits just came out today, but one of the first things I want to do with the newly released Windows Mobile 7 SDK is put a map up on the screen and mess around. I've downloaded the latest version of the Silverlight Maps Control and added the references to my application. As a matter of fact, the VS 2010 design view of the MainPage.xaml shows the map control after adding the namespace and placing the control. I'm using the provided VS 2010 Express version that comes with the Win Mobile 7 SDK and have just used the New Project - Windows Phone Application template. When I try to build I get two warnings related to the Microsoft.Maps.MapControl dll's. Warning 1 The primary reference "Microsoft.Maps.MapControl, Version=1.0.1.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=498d0d22d7936b73, processorArchitecture=MSIL" could not be resolved because it has an indirect dependency on the framework assembly "System.Windows.Browser, Version=2.0.5.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=7cec85d7bea7798e" which could not be resolved in the currently targeted framework. "Silverlight,Version=v4.0,Profile=WindowsPhone".     Hello! I found a source code on MSDN about how to enable/disable privileges in C++ According to the source code, the linker must include cmcfg32.lib, but it can't be found... I tried to compile without including that lib, it compiles without any error, but when I launch my program, it crashes with a fatal error. So please, if you know which SDK contains cmcfg32.lib, let me know ;) Thanks!

  • Android SQLite: nullColumnHack parameter in insert/replace methods

    The Android SDK has some convenience methods for manipulating data with SQLite. However both the insert and replace methods use some nullColumnHack parameter which usage I don't understand. The documentation explains it with the following, but what if a table has multiple columns that allow NULL? I really don't get it :/ SQL doesn't allow inserting a completely empty row, so if initialValues is empty this column [/row for replace] will explicitly be assigned a NULL value

    Hi all, Trying to compile a iPhone/iPad application with SDK3.2 and am getting this error: Undefined symbols: "_main", referenced from: Start in crt1.10.5.o Symbol(s) not found Collect2: Id returned 1 exit status I think it's telling me that it's somehow trying to work with code from another SDK but searching the web has not provided any clear answers. Anyone able to guide me on this and what to look for?

Try again." I've searched elsewhere for this message in hopes of finding out what might be happening, to no avail. (A popular suggestion is to move the uses-sdk element to the top of the manifest, but as you can see it's already at the top.) Clues welcome/appreciated. Update: I just tried to upload the same file again. Now I get a new message: The new apk's versionCode (2) in AndroidManifest.xml must be higher than the old apk's versionCode (2). The server could not process your apk. Try again. Soooo Marketplace did get my upgraded apk after all? (The very first accepted apk's versionCode was 1, so this update was of course bumped to 2.) Confused … Bumping it up to 3 and trying again. Surprise surprise, I get the original "could not process" error all over again. Going in circles. Hmm ... :( Nuther Update: If I exit and re-enter the Marketplace page, now it shows that the app has been uploaded! Except there's no app icon. Curiouser and curiouser ... and this is all happening with a cache-cleared (standards-friendly) browser to boot. So - do I trust the upload? Or start over ... with versionCode="4"? All I want is to get a solid "Upload successful, here's the icon, ready to publish" type of response.

    I just downloaded the Java SDK/JDK versions 5 and 6, and I just need the development tools (and some libraries) contained in the installation packages, I don't need to perform an installation and that's why I was only looking for a zip package at first (for Windows there is only an exe installation file), I only need to extract the contents of the installation packages, I think this can be done from the command line but so far I haven't found how to do this (I already considered WinRar and 7-Zip, but I really want to find how to do it without using these tools) Have you done this before and how?

  • Impossible to do POSTs with appengine-jruby/RoR: Reflection is not allowed

    I'm trying to build a site with RoR on Google App Engine. I'm using the google-appengine gem (http://appengine-jruby.googlecode.com) and following the instructions in (http://gist.github.com/268192). The problem is that I can't submit ANY form! I've already tried this in two diferent clean Win 7 Pro envs and the result is the same. After install Ruby 1.8.6 (One-Click Installer): 1. gem update --system 2. gem install rails 3. gem install google-appengine 4. gem install rails_dm_datastore 5. gem install activerecord-nulldb-adapter 6. curl -O http://appengine-jruby.googlecode.com/hg/demos/rails2/rails2_appengine.rb 7. ruby rails2_appengine.rb (previously downloaded) 8. rails myproj 9. chmod myproj 10. ruby script/generate dd_model MyModel f1:string f2:float f3:float f4:float f5:integer f6:integer f7:integer -f 11. ruby script/generate scaffold MyModel f1:string f2:float f3:float f4:float f5:integer f6:integer f7:integer -f --skip-migration 12. dev_appserver.rb -p 3000 . At this point, I manually test the scaffold in (http://localhost:3000/my_models). The index is OK, then I create a new registry with the generated form, everything's fine, but when I try to create a second one, I get a "java.lang.RuntimeException: DummyDynamicScope should never be used for backref storage" in the console. As far as I read this is a won't-fix behavior in JRuby 1.4.1, but it's converted to a debug only warning in 1.5.0, so I proceed to install the pre release. 13. gem install appengine-jruby-jars --pre With this, that exception is solved and everything works great... until I move the project to the GAE server. 14. ruby appcfg.rb update . And now, in (http://myproj.appspot.com/my_models), again, the index is fine, also the new form, but in the moment that I submit it with valid data, I get a 500 error: "java.lang.IllegalAccessException: Reflection is not allowed on public int". As I said, this behavior is not present in the local SDK. In both cases, I'm completely unable to post anything.     I am looking into solutions for providing multiple login methods to my site. I found rpxnow.com and they map user accounts from all the different networks. My question is how do they know that I am user1 on twitter and bigdude2 on facebook? I'm hoping it goes beyond email lookups. The end result I want is a unique user in my database no matter what account they sign in with, dupes are a no-no, but most likely inevitable I am guessing.

    So I have been looking around for some time now on a way to produce a variable tone on the iPhone using OpenAL, the issue being the Apple has deprecated the ALUT part of OpenAL that has the alutCreateBufferWaveform that would be perfect for this. I was wondering if anyone had any idea how to make a tone generator using OpenAL on the iPhone SDK. All I need is the ability to produce a certain frequency tone consistantly over and over again. This is a last resort so sorry if it sounds kind of stupid.
