  I'm trying to create an Editor Classifier Template project and run it. When I attempt to build I get an error message stating: "Error trying to read the VSIX manifest file 'extension.vsixmanifest'. Exception has been thrown by target of invocation." Any thoughts? I've tried googling this but didn't have any luck. I am working with Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate and the VS 2010 SDK Beta 1.   i use telephony manager for to ger the phone number, in sdk all work perfectly, on some device like my hero with 1.5 it return null, on the tattoo with 1.6 it work but on some other tattoo it return null.....I start to be crazy....why happen this? I am using the "UIImagePickerController" for that. • Disable keyboard input on Android TimePicker

  I'm developing and Android app using the 1.6 sdk. I'm using a TimePicker and I don't want the soft keyboard to come up when you click on the digits in the TimePicker. I only want the TimePicker to be changed using the plus and minus buttons. I've tried using android:focusable="false" and android:focusableInTouchMode="false" hoping those would do it, but they didn't seem to do anything. Is there a way to do this?

  I have a developer license and I've generated .mobileprovision and .cer files. I've put the provision file on my device, double-clicked the .cer file and added it to the login keychain. But when I'm trying to build the app in XCode, I get the error: CodeSign error: code signing is required for product type 'Application' in SDK 'Device - iPhone OS 3.1.3' What am I doing wrong?   I just wonder - if I need to deploy an assembly into the GAC, what is the "official" way of doing it? Currently we either manually drag/drop into the c:\windows\assembly folder or we use gacutil.exe. The first way is obviously not the good one (it's manual process after all), and gacutil is part of the SDK and not available per default on production servers. Are there any Microsoft deployment Guidelines?

  I know the bits just came out today, but one of the first things I want to do with the newly released Windows Mobile 7 SDK is put a map up on the screen and mess around. I've downloaded the latest version of the Silverlight Maps Control and added the references to my application. As a matter of fact, the VS 2010 design view of the MainPage.xaml shows the map control after adding the namespace and placing the control. I'm using the provided VS 2010 Express version that comes with the Win Mobile 7 SDK and have just used the New Project - Windows Phone Application template. When I try to build I get two warnings related to the Microsoft.Maps.MapControl dll's. Warning 1 The primary reference "Microsoft.Maps.MapControl, Version=1.0.1.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=498d0d22d7936b73, processorArchitecture=MSIL" could not be resolved because it has an indirect dependency on the framework assembly "System.Windows.Browser, Version=2.0.5.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=7cec85d7bea7798e" which could not be resolved in the currently targeted framework. "Silverlight,Version=v4.0,Profile=WindowsPhone". To resolve this problem, either remove the reference "Microsoft.Maps.MapControl, Version=1.0.1.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=498d0d22d7936b73, processorArchitecture=MSIL" or retarget your application to a framework version which contains "System.Windows.Browser, Version=2.0.5.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=7cec85d7bea7798e". • Would it be possible to speed up Android Emulator by removing unnecessary apps\

  I am using Android SDK 1.6 and developing some simple apps. It seems everytime Android Emulator loads every default apps, like message music browser etc... I guess this cause the booting process slow (takes 1 minute overhead for me to test the code every time). Would it be possible to take these apps out and just have my apps on the emulator?
