    Does anyone know of a free open source recovery tool? Should include recovery of document protection password ideally. EDIT: I'll settle for just Free instead of free and open source :) I'm looking for something that will handle not only passwords used to open the file but also passwords used to do Word's different forms of document protection.

  • DNS Problems with .me domain

    I recently registered a .me domain through GoDaddy. I set the nameservers to my slicehost servers immediately, and that change has been reflected in the .me WHOIS since day one. However, after almost two weeks, still can't look up the site. Is there something specific to .me domains or slicehost that I'm missing?

    I have a place where I want to set up a network connection thou a normal residential wall where I can't cut any holes. I don't want to just set up a wireless system. Does anyone make a device that you place on either side of a wall to hook up a connection? Preferably something that can do 100Mb full duplex and can't be eavesdropped on with common hardware?

I'm looking for for how Mozilla and Microsoft recommend adding the handler. So far all I have been able to find for Firefox is how to Add/Remove/Augment manually which no matter how simple is something I would like to hide from the user.

  • Color Schemes don't look right in CLI vim

    I was having a bit of trouble reading the dark red strings of Vim's default color scheme, so I decided to switch to a different one. http://code.google.com/p/vimcolorsch...kboard.vim?r=2 http://files.werx.dk/wombat.vim However, when I set my color schemes to these, not only do they not come out correctly (for example, comments are bright blue), but these 2 somehow come out looking exactly the same! Am I doing something wrong, or are these colors restricted in the terminal so default colors are being chosen?

  • How to replicate wwwroot over multiple IIS web servers with NLB without NAS?

    We're adding a second server with Windows NLB for a bit of redundancy (ie the power goes on one of the servers - I know its not the best solution). How can we keep the data identical between the servers? Dont want to use a SAN or NAS as thats just something else to go wrong. Customers can upload images with the web app so changes could be made on either server, as well as us uploaded a few changed files. Thanks

    I am running the top command to see details about specific processes. As i can't check the computers every time a meeting ends, i'd like to find a tool, preferably running on windows, that can monitor some cisco switch ports state, and every time a cable is being unplugged, send me an email. I'm aware of Audio Hijack Pro but that really does much more than I'm looking for and comes with a steep price tag.     I need a service which allows me to edit a hosted text file by email. For example: I write an email to [email protected] with subject "ADD LINE 10" and sending it the mail body is inserted into myfile which is hosted on a server of someservice.ext. Same for "DELETE LINE 12" or "SUBSTITUTE LINE 15". If I write "ECHO FILE" or something similar, the service should send me an email with the updated content of the text file. Does it exist?

    Title's pretty explanatory. I have an application(Second Life) that isn't compatible with 64-bit windows 7. It says that it is compatible with Windows XP, Vista, and 7 but only the 32-bit version of 7. I need to know if it's possible for me to download something to make the application compatible with my computer. I've run troubleshooters and ran it as windows compatible XP service pack 2 and tried again with service pack 3.

    I am familiar with using both Versions and Cornerstone on Mac - they are fantastic and incredibly simple to use... but I don't want to always rely on being able to borrow my girlfriend's MacBook so need to find an alternative for my Windows machine. Can anyone please recommend a good subversion client? I have experimented using Tortoise and RapidSVN and couldn't even get them working :( I'd like something just incredibly simple if possible.     ive been trying to install vmware workstation on my windows 7 computer. i know ive alreadey posted something simmalar to this, but this totally different situation. whenever i open the installer, this grey window labbeled vmware workstation setup opens and nothing happens. works on vista, but i dont use my vista for this kinda stuff anymore. Help PS: if this looks like mac to you, it isnt. it is windows 7 with zeusosx theming.

  • terminal mail delivery delay in mac os

    I'm using mail from Mac OS terminal to send the results of a database query to me via email. Most of the time it works, but sometimes there is a long delay before the mail arrives (often when another similar script is run). It looks like there is some kind of send queue, but I can't find any docs mentioning this. Is there something I need to do to flush mail from the terminal?
