    I'm using the Google Local Search API and Google Maps API. See here: http://geodit.com:8000/test You can perform a search, and then the javascript fills the Map, as well as the results next to the map. I think this function fills the results next to the map: function OnLocalSearch() My question is: how can I change the results displayed? Right now, by default it shows the Name of the business and the address. How can I disable the business link? And then add more text to each search result?

    I made a small page (http://www.ovlu.li) using CMS Made Simple (http://www.cmsmadesimple.org/). It looks more or less okay in all browser, but the problem is, if a resize the window to a smaller size, sometimes the layout of the subnavigation layer is destroyed. Instead of getting smaller, all the elements are ordered more or less randomly. Any hints why?

  • can not find out if the div element is already set in body in chrome extension

    in my chrome extension I got an div, which I will add to the body of the current tab. I am listening to chrome.tabs.onUpdated. If this event is called, I execute a script inside content_scripts. In this function there I´ll wait till the document is ready with jQuery $(document).ready(...). I try to access $("#div").length and sometimes it returns 1 and sometimes 0. It should added to the body, if it´s not already there. For some strange reasons, the onUpdated event is called twice on each page reload. Actually I found no way to check safely if the div was already added.

    I have an image on the left hand side and text on right side. Like two column layout. I want that when i scroll the text then the image should stay at center of page. I tried using position:fixed But then the problem , sometimes when i resize the IE window to small size then the image stay at same position and it comes out of the main content area when i scroll down. I want that image should scroll but should stay within the content area . It should not move outsid ethe main content aqrea

    Already checked exisitng questions for this, but didn't find an exact match. My aim is to replace characters (like spaces) on a webpage with a small image using css. Example: <p><span>This is a text</span></p> becomes: <p><span>ThisIMGisIMGaIMGtext</span></p> (where IMG stands for a visible image (middot-pic for a space f.e.)) I cannot think of a suitable css selector. But myabe one of you guys (or girls) know a solution. Is this possible at all?

    Hi, I am having a problem. I have some prices in a checkout displayed, they are "discount prices." How can I get these values from my page and add them together to display in a new div? I have two prices for two products 1000 and 2000, I want to be able to add these together to make 3000 and display it as a total in a new div. Example of what I'm going for here.     I am creating a widget in which a portion of an image will be highlighted and the remaining portion will have an opacity 0.5. For this i am using two images. The full image at the back with opacity 0.5. the portion of the image i want to be highlighted in the front. the front image is GWT's Clipped image. I have a scenario where i have to resize the back image. Is there any way to resize the clipped image at the front?

    function addOption(selectbox, val, txt){ ...... } addOption(list, "Cars", "Cars"); I need to add this in front of the text of the function: &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; So that there is space coming in before the option text...Never mind what it is for, it is just confusing... I just don't know how to insert it into the js code. If I do it like this: addOption(list, "Cars", "&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Cars"); Then the &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; comes into the text, so it gets displayed for the users. However I need it to be interpreted as "space"... If you don't understand let me know... How can I do this? Quotes, double quotes etc? Thanks

However, the headerRow isn't working in FF, yet works well in IE. Here it is, being used: <table width="700" border="0" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="2"> <tr class="headerRow"> <td> Transaction Date </td> <td> Type </td> <td> Category </td> <td> Budget Assignment </td> <td> Cost Center </td> <td align="right"> Amount </td> </tr> The header row just displays as normal body text though...

    I would like to change the value of a textarea when hovering over a link. I am not very proficient at javascript and do not quite understand the intricacies of 'this.' and 'document.' etc.. Currently I have a textarea 'info' that on page load is unpopulated and two links that should change its value.     Hi, i am very new at jquery and code, here i am trying to get the setTimeout event to be inside the .mouseout event but i'm not sure how to do that as i keep getting syntax error in my editor. Moving the mouse to the .slidedown div should keep it open until the mouse is removed. But will this code collapse the .slidedown div if the user doesn't mouse over .slidedown after .trigger but instead moves the mouse directly from .trigger to another area of page? I.e i need some kind of 'setTimeout' that is trigged only if the user doesn't move mouse over .slidedown after hovering over .trigger. Hope i make sense. Thanks for your help!

    I am making asp.net website. In that there is a link button (named Landline number).Below that there are three textboxes. And after that there is one horizontal line. Now at a first time only link button and horizontal will be visible, and textboxes which is bellowed to link button will not be visible. Now if user will click on the link button then textboxes which is bellowed to link button will be visible. Then horizontal line which is at the first time bellowed to the link button should be adjust to its location and should go after textboxes. And if user clicks to link button again then textboxes should be visible false. And horizontal line should be displayed its original position that is bellowed to the link button. Of course I am able to do with visibility of textboxes but I can not understand how to change the position of the horizontal line dynamically?

  • facebook and twitter buttons doesn't work

    I am building a website in dreamweaver cs5. for some reason, the facebook like button and twitter share as well as follow button doesn't work. facebook like button shows nothing. (in the area, chrome says page cannot be found), twitter buttons show the hyperlink tweet and it tweets but the icon doesn't show up. The code for both are generated from facebook and twitter itself. I haven't hosted the site yet. I and coding and previewing it. Is that the reason for them not to work? I also tried addthis.com widget. It didn't show up as it should have. Please help!
