  Hi all, I have some javascript making an ajax call in my Rails site: $.ajax({type: "PUT", url: url, data: { dummy: data }, complete: function(data) {}}); When Rails gets it, it throws back an ActionController::InvalidAuthenticityToken Error. I'd like to keep the protect_from_forgery stuff in there, if possible... But I'm at a loss for how can I pass the auth token from a javascript file? Can anyone help me out?

  Hello, i have a bit of asp.net code that exports data in a datagrid into excel but i noticed that it messes up a particular field when exporting. eg .. i have the value of something like 89234010000725515875 in a column in the datagrid but when exported, it turns it into 89234+19. Is there any excel formatting that will bring back my original number? thanks

If this was just a form with text fields I'd do an AJAX post and respond with a message I'd display in my callback function.   Hi, I'm making a game where when a card is touched, it grows so that it is focused, and when you 'let go', it goes back to its original size and place. This seems pretty standard, however, when I add cards and move the hand around to accommodate different numbers of cards, touching the card makes it go to its original place, and not to the new place. I am looking to be able to sync the riak DBs and if the cluster gets a query, to be able to tell where the data lies and retrieve it quickly.
