• is it possible to issue dynamic include in asp-classic?

  I mean, like php'h include... something like my_file_to_be_included = "include_me.asp" -- for what I've seen so far, there are a couple of alternatives, but every one of them has some sort of shortcoming... what I'm trying to figure out is how to make a flexible template system... without having to statically include the whole thing in a single file with a loooooong case statement... here there are a couple of links a solution using FileSysmemObject, just lets you include static pages idem yet another one same thing from adobe this approach uses Server.Execute but it has some shortcomings I'd like to avoid... seems like (haven't tried yet) Server.Execute code runs in another context, so you can't use it to load a functions your are planning to use in the caller code... nasty... same thing I think this one is the same this looks promising!!! I'm not sure about it (couldn't test it yet) but it seems like this one dinamycally handles the page to a SSDI component... any idea???

Here is what I have: Visual Studio 2008 (on 32-bit Windows XP) Qt libraries 4.6.2 for Windows (VS 2008, 194 MB) Visual Studio Add-in (44 MB) After I installed all the software, I created simple Qt Application project, with Visual Studio: menu File | New | Project... and Qt4 Projects | Qt Application. Build it, and here is the question: how to set application icon to my compiled exe file? I need to see specified ICO in explorer! Old method with MyProject.pro not interested!!! Create a .ico file with both 16x16 and 32x32-pixel versions of the icon (you can do this in Visual Studio). Create a .rc file containing the following text: IDI_ICON1 ICON DISCARDABLE "myIcon.ico" Add the following to your .pro file RC_FILE = myFile.rc Run qmake. Thanks.

• How listen for UIButton state change?

  I'm extending UIButton with generic functionality to change certain appearance attributes based on the displayed title. In order to do this, I need to detect and respond to changes in the "state" property. This is so I make sure the appearance is adjusted properly if the user has set different titles for different states. I assumed I would need to use some sort of KVO like the following: [self addObserver:self forKeyPath:@"state" options:NSKeyValueObservingOptionNew context:nil]; But this does not seem to fire the observeValueForKeyPath:... method for @"state" or @"currentTitle". I assume this is because UIButton does not implement the KVO pattern for those properties. I do not want to just listen for clicks. Those events cause a state change, but are not the only potential causes. Does anyone know a way to listen to and respond to state changes of a UIButton? Thanks

• How to stop the android soft keyboard from ever coming up in my entire application

  I'm developing an application on a hardware device that has a built-in hardware keyboard that does not slide out so is always visible (like a blackberry). Therefore, I NEVER want the soft keyboard to display for my entire application. I'm aware of another SO question that gives the following lines of code: InputMethodManager imm = (InputMethodManager)getSystemService(Context.INPUT_METHOD_SERVICE); imm.hideSoftInputFromWindow(myEditText.getWindowToken(), 0); But I don't know where to put this code to hide the soft keyboard in all places where it might possibly appear in my Activity. I have tried adding the code to Activity.onUserInteraction to no avail. It seems the keyboard appears after the onUserInteraction executes.

• vb.net pdf reader load problem

  From the tools menu I have done right clickchoose itemCOM (tab) and ticked adobe pdf reader. From here I simply dragged the pdf tool onto my form. That's all I've done. Now on form load it throws a bug. "InvalidOperationException was unhandled" hovering over the message it says the following, An error occurred creating the form. See Exception.InnerException for details. The error is: Class not registered (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80040154 (REGDB_E_CLASSNOTREG)) Any ideas anyone? Gonna take a mastermind to work this one out seriously

  I am having an issue while trying to use a GridView in a PopupWindow. On my Activity's onCreate method, I am inflating a gridview from xml as follows: LayoutInflater inflater = (LayoutInflater)this.getSystemService (Context.LAYOUT_INFLATER_SERVICE); final GridView popupview = (GridView) inflater.inflate (R.layout.gridviewpopup, null, false); popupview.setAdapter(new ImageAdapter(this)); would like this GridView to popup on a button click. • How do I access session data in Jinja2 templates (Bottle framework on app engine)?

  Hello! I'm running the micro framework Bottle on Google App Engine. I'm using Jinja2 for my templates. And I'm using Beaker to handle the sessions. I'm still a pretty big Python newbie and am pretty stoked I got this far :) My question is how do I access the session data within the templates? I can get the session data no problem within the actual python code. And I could pass the session data each time I call a jinja template. But since I need the session data in the main menu bar of the site... that means I would have to pass it on every single page. Does anyone know if I can access it directly in the templates? For example I need the session data for my header links: Home | FAQ | Login or Home | FAQ | Logout Any help is greatly appreciated! :D

  Hi everyone, i'm trying to realize non-editable QTableView with widgets in cells that should contain clickable listed text. With following code i'm setting widget in definite cell: view = QTableView() label = QLabel( <some html text> ) ... view.setIndexWidget(index, label) I used html to make label's text clickable, but links became blue with underline and moreover by clicking on it with right mouse button appears popup menu with "Copy Link Locaion" option, where i wanted to place some hidden information instead of url and of course do not let user see this info. I'm looking for light-weight widget, i thought that insertion of QGraphicsView in each cell will lead to big computer loads, but can't think of any other solution.   Hi, I'm trying to learn some aspects of the CH ( chomsky hierarchy ) which are related to PL ( programming languages ), and i still have to read the Dragon Book. I've read that most of the PL can be parsed as CFG ( context free grammar ). In term of computational power, it equals the one of a pushdown non deterministic automaton. Am I right ? If it's true, then how could a CFG holds a UG ( unrestricted grammar, which is turing complete ) ? I'm asking because, even if PL are CFG they are actually used to describe TM (turing machines ) and through UG. I think that's because of at least two different levels of computing, the first, which is the parsing of a CFG focuses on the syntax related to the structure ( representation ? ) of the language, while the other focuses on the semantic ( sense, interpretation of the data itself ? ) related to the capabilities of the pl which is turing complete. Again, are these assumptions rights ? thanx a lot.

  I want to do some screen-scraping with Python 2.7, and I have no context for the differences between HTMLParser, SGMLParser, or Beautiful Soup. Are these all trying to solve the same problem, or do they exist for different reasons? Which is simplest, which is most robust, and which (if any) is the default choice? Also, please let me know if I have overlooked a significant option. Edit: I should mention that I'm not particularly experienced in HTML parsing, and I'm particularly interested in which will get me moving the quickest, with the goal of parsing HTML on one particular site.

• Memory mapped files causes low physical memory

  I have a 2GB RAM and running a memory intensive application and going to low available physical memory state and system is not responding to user actions, like opening any application or menu invocation etc. How do I trigger or tell the system to swap the memory to pagefile and free physical memory? I'm using Windows XP. If I run the same application on 4GB RAM machine it is not the case, system response is good. After getting choked of available physical memory system automatically swaps to pagefile and free physical memory, not that bad as 2GB system. To overcome this problem (on 2GB machine) attempted to use memory mapped files for large dataset which are allocated by application. In this case virtual memory of the application(process) is fine but system cache is high and same problem as above that physical memory is less. Even though memory mapped file is not mapped to process virtual memory system cache is high. why???!!! :( Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

• Exclude complete namespace from FxCop code analysis?

  Is it possible to exclude a complete namespace from all FxCop analysis while still analyzing the rest of the assembly using the SuppressMessageAttribute? In my current case, I have a bunch of classes generated by LINQ to SQL which cause a lot of FxCop issues, and obviously, I will not modify all of those to match FxCop standards, as a lot of those modifications would be gone if I re-generated the classes. I know that FxCop has a project option to suppress analysis on generated code, but it does not seem to recognize the entity and context classes created by LINQ 2 SQL as generated code.

What I'm doing wrong? • ANTLR JavaScript Target

  Hello, I have been using ANTLR to generate a parser + tree grammar for a mark up language with Java target which works fine. Now I am trying to get the target in JavaScript to use it in my web browser. However, I have not been able to locate any good documentation on how to go about doing this. I am using eclipse with ANTLR IDE, and when i specify the language as JavaScript, I get the following errors. Multiple markers at this line (10): internal error: group JavaScript does not satisfy interface ANTLRCore: mismatched arguments on these templates [treeParser(grammar, name, scopes, tokens, tokenNames, globalAction, rules, numRules, bitsets, labelType, ASTLabelType, superClass, members, filterMode)] (10): internal error: java.util.NoSuchElementException: no such attribute: filterMode in template context [treeParser] If anyone could help me out with this or point me to some material which I could read about the JavaScript target with ANTLR, it would be great.   Scenario: Entity Framework 4 , POCO templates and Master Detail relation. Lets say I have a master type like this: //partial implementation of master entity partial class Master { public void AddDetail(x,y,z) { var detail = new Detail() { X = x, Y = y, Z = z, }; //add the detail to the master this.Details.Add(detail); } } If I then add a master instance to my context and commit, the details will not be saved: var masterObject = new Master(); masterObject.AddDetail(1,2,3); myContext.MasterSet.AddObject(masterObject); Is there any way to make the details to be persisted by reachabillity when using POCO templates? Or any other way? the Details collection in the Master entity is a FixUpCollection, so it ought to track the changes IMO. So, any ideas how to make this work W/O killing the POCO'ness too much?

  Compiled query: public static Func<OperationalDataContext, short, Machine> QueryMachineById = CompiledQuery.Compile((OperationalDataContext db, short machineID) => db.Machines.Where(m => m.MachineID == machineID).SingleOrDefault()); It looks like compiled query is caching Machine object and returning the same object even if query is called from new DataContext (I’m disposing DataContext in the service but I’m getting Machine from previous DataContext). I use POCOs and XML mapping. Revised: It looks like compiled query is returning result from new data context and it is not using the one that I passed in compiled-query. Therefore I can not reuse returned object and link it to another object obtained from datacontext thru non compiled queries.   Hi everyone, I'm wonder how I'd code up a ByteBuffer recycling class that can get me a ByteBuffer which is at least as big as the specified length, and which can lock up ByteBuffer objects in use to prevent their use while they are being used by my code. This would prevent re-construction of DirectByteBuffers and such over and over, instead using existing ones. Is there an existing Java library which can do this very effectively? I know Javolution can work with object recycling, but does that extend to the ByteBuffer class in this context with the requirements set out? Cheers, Chris

  Tehnologies: - CruiseControlNet - Asp.net MVC 2 RTM - enabled view compilation The problem is UrlParameter.Optional setting. I can't seem to make it work when I use this setting inside a view. When I compile inside Visual Studio, everything works fine, but when CCNet uses MSBuild to compile it it fails with following error: errorCS0103: The name 'UrlParameter' does not exist in the current context pointing to the line inside my view where this parameter is set on: Html.RenderAction(...) that sets certain route parameter(s) to optional. I tried adding <%@ Assembly name="System.Web.Mvc" %> at the top of my view, but it didn't work either. It works of course when I disable view compilation, but that's not really an option. And I also don't want to set my optional parameters to string.Empty. Anyone has any hint on this?

  Hi Team, Using: http://home.aland.net/sundman/ to split a complex form in to 4 steps. As well as as the 'next, back and submit' form buttons, I have created a menu above the form: step 1, step 2, step 3, step 4 linking to the hash tags #: #, #1, #2, #3 so the visitor can decide which step they want to view / edit. This works fine in firefox, but in IE and Chrome it does not seem to work. Anyone have experience with hte jQuery history plugin that can tell me the best way to accomplish this? I would like to link to the form but it is in a password protected area and subject to our NDA. If need be I could try and replicate the issue with a form on our server and link here. Thanks, Jack

  How can I create a routing structure for a project management application where there are discrete controllers for all the relevant pieces such as TaskController, DocumentController etc and an Over arching controller. I would essentially like a structure like: http://server/Project/123/Task http://server/Project/123/Document I am using mvc1 so I have no access to areas etc. The project section will have a separate master page for project controllers such as task, document etc with a dfferent menu navigaton.
