• Multi-site email relay based on email address (in AD?)

  We have a multi site setup currently based around Exchange 2003, but we are getting a lot of traffic over the vpn as only one server has an internet facing IP. Is there such a product that could sit on a hosted rack somewhere that would look at an incoming email and from information in AD determine which mail server to relay the message to?

  While establishing mirroring without witness at last step i am getting an error: One or more of the server network addresses lacks a fully qualified domain name (FDQN). To start mirroring without using a FQDN, click "yes". To specify the FDQN, click "no". Then specify every TCP address by using the syntax for a fully qualified TCP address, and click Start mirroring again. TCP/IP are in enabled mode in Computer management. How to rectifity this error?

• How do I boot to the Recovery Partition on an eMachines D620 notebook?

  I installed the Windows 7 RC on my wife's laptop and now need to reinstall Vista for her. I was very careful to leave the recovery partition intact so that I could do this, but I don't see a way to boot to it. In the Disk Management console I can see the "9.77GB Healthy (Recovery Partition)" partition but I can't do anything with it - the context menu only contains the Help option. Any ideas?

• FAT32: setting a mixed-case volume label on Windows?

  When I try to set the volume label for my FAT32 USB drive the normal way (using Windows Explorer or Disk Management), the filesystem just makes the label uppercase when applying it. Is it possible at all to set a mixed-case volume label on the drive on Windows? I know there may be no real reason for me to do that, but I'd really like to know.

  One day instead of connecting to the database my SQL Server Management gave me the following error: "Data Source name not found & no default driver found" Note it had been working for several years before this, all that had changed was an upgrade to Office (97 -2000) and the monthly Windows patches. I tried rebooting, re-installing both the SQL Server 2000 and 2005 clients on the machine but no joy. I can access the database(s) from other machines.

Does above means that load balancer can have 2.8M connections open but only 100K of them will be active per seconds.   I have two sub-sites set up in configuration manager. When the SCCM agent installs on the client machines within the boundaries of those sub sites they are assigned the site code of the Primary site, not the sub site code. As a result their management server remains the main server not the sub site server. I am setting up thes sub sites on cross WAN locations to cut down on traffic. What could be preventing the clients from getting associated with the proper sub site code.
