    Hi We're using HAproxy as a front end load balancer / proxy and are looking for solutions to block random IP addresses from jamming the cluster. Is anyone familiar with a conf for HAProxy that can block requests if they exceed a certain threshold from a single IP within a defined period of time. Or can anyone suggest a software solution which could be placed in front of HAProxy to handle this kind of blocking. Thanks Dom--

  • How can I retrieve statistics from my ghost cast server?

    I have a GhostCast server running for deploying images. I would like to have each ghost cast session to write to a file ( can be multiple text files or append to one file already there ) statistics. I know this is possible based on the options GhostCast software provides for writing to a log file, but I would like this automated for every image being backed up and restored. I don't want to have my employees click write to a new file every time. Is this possible?

  • Send email from different domains to different external IP's on a single server

    I have set up a windows 2008 R2 server to route email from Exchange 2010 using SMTP Server in IIS. I have 3 seperate domains and would like to route each one through a different internal and external IP for (IP Reputation etc), at the minute it is only using the primary IP on the server to route email externally. Is this at all possible using SMTP Server in IIS, or is there any other software available to do this?

  • Cannot install boot camp 3.1 drivers on windows 7

    Hi all, I have a 64 bit windows 7 install (thru bootcamp) on my 17" macbook pro, with the bootcamp 3.0 drivers. Whenever i run the apple software update to install the 3.1 drivers, it downloads and installs them, then reboots, and when i've rebooted, it's still stuck on version 3.0 according to 'about boot camp' on the system tray icon. I've tried installing several times, it keeps happening. Any ideas? Thanks

    I create a small script that installs a set of linux paquets . Strangely apt-get install always fails and tells me that the package have not been found. I need Connection host to guest but I can not see virtual computer(win2008) from host (win7). Is there any solution ?

On the machine I've got several drivers which I would like to transport to the new machine, but I don't have the original drivers CD's.   • SWF -> Compatible YouTube format and retain ActionScript

    I have an swf (just a sequence of slides with audio, timing controlled by actionscript) that I want to convert to a compatible YouTube format (flv, mp4, etc.). I've tried using the Moyea SWF4Tube software but when it was converted all of the timing was gone. I'm fine with uploading as a swf, but the problem was (when I tried) that the codecs weren't appropriate. Any help regarding this is much appreciated, thanks.

    I am attempting to login from a Linux client to a set top box running Linux via a USB to serial cable. When I power on the device, I can see the init messages scroll past, and I get to the login prompt, like this: (none) login: but I cannot login. The cursor stops flashing as if it is receiving input, but there is no response.     I have downloaded file which is in djvu format. I want to convert it to pdf or some other more common format, so I can read the document from other devices (e.g. my phone etc). I found a conversion utility at Lizardtech, but when I converted the doc using the lizardtech software, every page had a watermark - which rendered the converted doc virtually useless. Does anyone know where I can get a free conversion utility that does not watermark the converted doc?

Do I simply convert the file using some software to MP4(?!) and then use something like http://videojs.com/ to view it online?   • Any tool available to make renaming in Windows XP more like Mac OS X?

    I've noticed 1 cool thing and OS X. When you rename a file, it automatically selects everything up until the extension. For example, attempting to rename this.is.a.file.png would preselect this.is.a.file allowing you to quickly rename it whilst preserving the extension. I know I could turn off 'show extensions for known file types', but I like to have them visible. Is there any software that can do this? Thanks

I have set both HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\http\shell\open\command and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\http\shell\open\command From "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" %1 To "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" %1 But running an http address still opens Internet Explorer not Firefox. How do I change this?
