• SOAPUI Extract data from SOAP Response and use in REST request

  I have been looking at the answer to this question: Pulling details from response to new request SoapUI which is similar to what I am looking for but I can't get it to work. I have a small SOAPUI testsuite and I need to extract a value from the response of a SOAP request and then use this value in a subsequent REST request. The response to my SOAP request is: <ns0:session xmlns:ns0="http://www.someurl.com/la/la/v1_0"> <token>AQIC5wM2xAAIwMg==#</token> </ns0:session> so I need the token to use in my REST request. I know it involves using Property Transfer and some XPath / XQuery but I just can't get it right. At the moment my property transfer window points to Source: SOAP test Property: Response and has data(/session/token/text()) in the text box. In target it has Target: REST testcase Property: newProp and I have Use XQuery checked. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks, Adrian

• Why does embeded vimeo video keeps on flickering?

  Look here: http://mashinaizec.com/mons-2 When you click on some image, fancybox comes in and display that image and put overlay above entire page. What also happens is that vimeo video on the right keeps refreshing preview image whenever i click on any image in gallery. Also, if you scroll the window to the bottom and them click on, for example, on the bottom left image, overlay shoots in, image is there but see that little X in the top right corner of the image? It is not displayed as it should. Any idea what to do?

• How to find modal dialog opener from javascript?

  I have a page that opens a modal dialog. After the operations done on dialog I want to refresh the opener page. But when I open the popup by using "openDialog" I cannot access to the opener by using window.opener on popup page. It appears "undefined" when I wanted to access. (I dont want to use "popup" method in this case. I want it to be a dialog by the way. using "popup" is my second plan.) What is the best practice to get rid off this issue?

  Hi, I want to attach a function to a jQuery element that fires whenever the element is added to the page. • How to setup Xcode 3.1.4 with Perforce ?

  Hi everyone, I've been trying to setup Xcode with Perforce for about 7 hours now and managed to get the Perforce Repository Authenticated within Xcode. The problem I have is, within the repositories window, I don't see any directories for me to check out. I can see the p4root login and client are ok with the tick on the repository log. When I try to Import an xcode project directory within the Perforce root directory- the import fails with '/Users/jackson/p4root/alpha/MessageTapper' is not under the Perforce root. I have p4d running on the local machine, and have created a user and workspace. The workspace has the directories in view. I'm hoping for someone to give me some direction or maybe point me to a good reference to how to set perforce up with xcode. Thanks!

  Hi, the following code is to open a console application (which uses pdcurses for output, nothing special): myProcess.StartInfo.FileName = "some.exe"; myProcess.StartInfo.UseShellExecute = false; myProcess.StartInfo.CreateNoWindow = false; myProcess.StartInfo.RedirectStandardInput = true; myProcess.Start(); The Problem is that it opens the designated window but directly closes it (it's barely visible). Starting the program without RedirectStandardInput works. The problem is that it does not throw an exception nor any error-message. What is wrong with my code? How can I write input to the program? Is there a way I can get that file witought that pop-up in php? NOTE: I cannot modify the generating page... It is an excel file. The application is called Cognos.   Hi For my web application, I want a 10*10 (100 cells which is created dynamically) grid to be displayed in the following manner. 0) Initially all the cells' color is green. 1) If i click on any cell its color becomes red if it is green and if i click again it becomes red.(Toggle the cell color) 2) I should be able to display dynamic number of link buttons in each cell.On the click of which it pop ups a window.   I have a problem with my Google Maps API key. I get an alert saying "This web site needs a different Google Maps API key." When I prees OK to the alert the map are loading and working fine. The same problem is already posted: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1803327/google-maps-api-key-not-working I have tried to request the API key for both "http://www.domain.com" and "http://domain.com" but I still get the alert. When I follow the instructions from their FQA and use alert(window.location.host) I get www.domain.com but the api key generator will only accept the domain if the prefix is http:// Does anyone have a solution to this?

  Hi guys, I am developing some small little application that sits on the screen and on top of all window and flies around the screen, could be a bird or a butterfly or a fish. But I have a little bit of problem. How do I redraw the background without my images included? or how do I copy the background (not the wallpaper) behind my form with image? is it possible to have a custom shaped form also? currently, the app looks like this the 2nd image with X is what I currently have (it has some sort of tearing) and it's supposed to be the 1st one with check mark.

• Using EXR images in OpenCV

  Hi there! I'm currently working on a project with OpenEXR and I would like to implement some Blob detection algorithms. To do this I figured that I could use OpenCV as it says in the documentation that it can open OpenEXR format files. I have all the libraries installed and working as I've been doing other things. I open a simple jpg file with openCV cvLoadImage. It works fine. But when i try to open any .exr file it doesn't seam to like it. I get a gray window where there should be the image display. Has anyone done any tests with OpenCV and OpenEXR libraries working together? Have they worked for you? What do you think? Thanks.

• Reducing time in C# Forms Control.set_Text(string) function

  Hoping for a quick answer (which SO seems to be pretty good for)... I just ran a performance analysis with VS2010 on my app, and it turns out that I'm spending about 20% of my time in the Control.set_Text(string) function, as I'm updating labels in quite a few places in my app. The window has a timer object (Forms timer, not Threading timer) that has a timer1_Tick callback, which updates one label every tick (to give a stop-watch sort of effect), and updates about 15 labels once each second. Does anyone have quick suggestions for how to reduce the amount of time spent updating text on a form, other than increasing the update interval? Are there other structures or functions I should be using?

• Really new to XCode. Why won't the thing run?

  Hi, I'm trying to follow the April 2009 and Winter 2010 Stanford iPhone app development videos and I'm running up against the same problems with both. First, they don't appear to be using the latest version of XCode - the Outlets and Actions panels are in a different window and there is little info on the net about this (other than one other post on S.O.F.) Second, having got to the point where I've managed to connect the slider, label and changedLabelText connections, I save, build and run the app - the simulator loads, the app loads and then promptly closes again. What's going on? I have not written any code yet and I still have an app which, while it compiles, does not behave! Is there a better starting point for an XCode noob than the Stanford vids?   I have the following markup on a page and unfortunately I do not have direct access to it. . This page is opened in an iframe. There is other code on the page but it is not relevant so I have not posted it. The only access to target the code in via css. I want to not display the close button so I added this to the css file img[alt='Close'] {display:none !important;} this is the markup <td align="center"><a href='javascript:window.close()'><img src='v/vspfiles/templates/100/images/buttons/btn_close.gif' alt='Close' border=0></a></td> It works as expected in all browsers that i have tested (firefox, Opera, Safari) but in IE8 it seems to ignore this css and shows the button. Not sure if it doesn't like the selector or perhaps I have a syntax error. Not sure where to go from here.

• How to use a CTabCtrl in a MFC dialog based application ?

  I need to do something which i expected to be was simple - create a tab control which has 2 tabs, implying 2 modes of operation for my app. When user clicks on Tab1, he'll be presented with some buttons and textboxes, and when he clicks Tab2, some other input method. I noticed that there was a CTabCtrl class thats used in MFC to add tabs. However, once I added the tab ctrl using the UI designer, I couldn't specify how many tabs there'll be using property window. Searching on the net, I found some examples but all of them required you to derive from CtabCtrl , create 2 or more child dialogs etc and to write your own custom class. My question is, since I want to do something so basic, why couldn't I do it using the familiar Add Event handler/Add member variable wizard and then handle everything else inside my app's class ? Surely, the default CTabCtrl class can do something useful without needing to derive from it ?

• Is it possible to take a screenshot of a web page with Javascript or HTML5/Canvas?

  Is there a way I could insert some code into a page that would take a screenshot of what the user sees in the browser window, then upload that image via a web form of some sort? I'm working on a clone of a pay-to-use service that lets you install a widget on a web page which in turn allows viewers to report bugs in the sites layout. Currently they use a Java applet to take the screenshot, which, in my opinion, is probably the worst way to go about it (aside from requiring the user to install a plugin) Is there a javascript/flash/other alternative?   Hello, I want to create a footer like facebook, that sticks at the bottom of the page, irrespective of the scroll. <div id="footer"></div> and here is the css style #footer{ position:absolute; left:0px; margin-bottom:0px; vertical-align:bottom; bottom:0px; width:100%; height:25px; background-color:#dfd5d7; overflow:hidden; } It comes fine, when I resize the browser window it does not stick to the bottom but a about 50 pixels up.   I recently upgraded a C# project from .NET 3.5 to .NET 4. I have a method that extracts all MSTest test methods from a given list of MethodBase instances. Its body looks like this: return null == methods || methods.Count() == 0 ? null : from method in methods let testAttribute = Attribute.GetCustomAttribute(method, typeof(TestMethodAttribute)) where null != testAttribute select method; This worked in .NET 3.5, but since upgrading my projects to .NET 4, this code always returns an empty list, even when given a list of methods containing a method that is marked with [TestMethod]. Did something change with custom attributes in .NET 4? Debugging, I found that the results of GetCustomAttributesData() on the test method gives a list of two CustomAttributeData which are described in Visual Studio 2010's 'Locals' window as: Microsoft.VisualStudio.TestTools.UnitTesting.DeploymentItemAttribute("myDLL.dll") Microsoft.VisualStudio.TestTools.UnitTesting.TestMethodAttribute() -- this is what I'm looking for When I call GetType() on that second CustomAttributeData instance, however, I get {Name = "CustomAttributeData" FullName = "System.Reflection.CustomAttributeData"} System.Type {System.RuntimeType}. How can I get TestMethodAttribute out of the CustomAttributeData, so that I can extract test methods from a list of MethodBases?

• webOS style view switching on iPhone app

  Hello, I have been working with a iPhone app that I would like to have switch views like the Palm Pre does for multitasking. I know the usual way of switching views by using the black bar at the bottom of the app but the app I am working on does not lend itself to having a big black bar in the way (see attached picture #1). I guess my question is, how do I shrink the current view (Current Location window) and show other views on the sides? (see attached picture #2) Then be able to swipe left and right to view other views.
