  • How to add datasource to a report in VS2010?

    In VS2008 we have menu Report-Data Sources... which opens "Report Data Sources" from here we can see Project data sources & we can add them into our report by pressing "Add to Report". but in VS2010 RC there is no such thing like this (no Data Sources... option inside Report menu) any help?

    I have a list called cols with column names in it: cols <- c('Column1','Column2','Column3') I'd like to reproduce this command, but with a call to the list: data.frame(Column1=rnorm(10)) Here's what happens when I try it: > data.frame(cols[1]=rnorm(10)) Error: unexpected '=' in "data.frame(I(cols[1])=" The same thing happens if I wrap cols[1] in I() or eval(). How can I feed that item from the vector into the data.frame() command?

I had a method that used an Object Function Foo(ByRef bar as CustomObject) as Boolean this method generated errors, because some strange .NET Runtime things changed the bar object, causing its Dispose()al. A lot of time spent to understand the thing(where the ... object is changed), until somebody replaced ByRef by ByVal and object wasn't change anymore when passing to this method... Somebody could explain this, what happens?

I want to make a function or procedure that when passed two integers will insert a row into the table but make sure the largest integer always goes into ColumnA and the smaller one into ColumnB.     Hi guys :) Css "over" selector applys a temporary style to an element, it isn't definitive: div:hover { background-color: red; } I can use the same thing with javascript but it is a bit complicate and impossible for several elements: var elem = document.getElementByTagName ("div")[0]; elem.onmouseover = function () { this.style.backgroundColor = "red"; } elem.onmouseout = function () { this.style.backgroundColor = "transparent"; } There is a better way ? I need a loop which goes through the array list and sums up all doubles.   • Can I get a person's display name or composite name from Apple AddressBook on OSX platform?

    I have come across ABRecordCopyCompositeName() in these pages but, having Spotlighted it, have a hunch it's only available for the IOS platform. The AddressBook app itself, and ABPeoplePicker obviously do something similar internally, so is there an equivalent API for OSX? It's a tedious thing to retrieve title, first name, middle name, last name, suffix and work out if it's a company before building it yourself.
